The Roa Hotel

Because of my early flight I planned to check in early in the hotel where I was told by the receptionist to pay Rs. 1000 without providing bill. I accepted and I went into my room soon to notice the washroom was clogged and there was no hand towel or toilet roll in the washroom. When I tried to get in touch with the front desk the phone wasn’t working managing to get in touch with her took me extra 20 minutes. In that 20mintues I also asked for 2 plates in both front desk and room service both took the request but completed it after an hour. After shifting into a new room I found the same situation of not having bath towels hand towels and toilet roll inside the bathroom. Later that night I informed of my situation to the other front desk agent and told him that I’m not ready to pay the extra Rs.1000. He told me that you should’ve informed us and made it look like it was my fault and also said that from next time on we won’t be adjusting early checkins for me. Later at the time of checkouts the Female receptionist who took our checkin started to create an argument for the mistakes made out in service was my fault and was in denial that the room was clean and the telephone was working fine and she was literally rude to me for it and started lying and denying of all the bad services happened during my stay. I asked her how can you speak to the guest like this for which she replied “I chose the wrong words” the management should look into her for this behaviour because this is not the way you treat a guest in a hotel it’s a simple hospitality rule which even a child knows. It really made my day start in a bad way. This hotel is not recommended to anyone it’s too bad of a experience for money. Pathetic front desk staff. Just a message to them stop being arrogant and in denial.

We stayed for 3 nights and 3 days. It was a nice experience. The desk and restaurant staff were really helpful and friendly. Room cleaning was also very good. We enjoyed our stay there.

Clean and hygienic rooms- very courteous staff and hospitable. Made arrangements to accommodate our ask of extra bedding without any hassle. The food served was very tasty and good. The prices are reasonable and affordable. Strategically located hotel and well maintained.

The hotel itself is bad except for the location. For the price one can get a very better hotel than this. But the worst part is the staff. I don’t think they are literate enough to understand the hospitality industry. The reception guy named Dil Nawab is very rude and does not treat you good. He should be sacked immediately. People like him don’t deserve to be in this industry.

Comfy and value for money. Courteous staff, good tasty food - you get what you pay for. Maintain this standard of yours, and I will look forward to more visits and stays at your hotel. I definitely recommend this place with family.

This place is closer to Ghatkopar metro station. Very accessible to all modes of transportation. Very friendly hotel staff and the breakfast buffet is good. Rooms are clean and the service also good. The Roa is also closer to R city mall. Phoenix city mall is about 5-6 kms and the T1 domestic airport is also about 6kms from the location.

Best service I had in seven weeks in India. The girl at the front desk was great, she was always very pleasant, helpful and smiling. It seemed that she infected all the staff. So friendly and super helpful. Well done guys.
