The coffee and service here was outstanding. The staff was extremely kind and patient even though we speak very little Japanese. The coffee itself was masterfully roasted and the NY Rings were some of the best we've had. The soft served ice cream was also a wonderful treat. The smell of fresh coffee actively roasting creates a sense of euphoria. We'll definitely visit again if we're ever walking through this neighborhood.

MAR 2024 Ordered a café latte using their award winning Platanares coffee beans and the espresso soft serve. The coffee was pretty strong and smooth with a sweet note, very good but not sure if it is much better than their other bean which cost half the price. The soft serve was creamy with a tasty coffee flavor but wished it was a bit stronger. Service was good and the staffs/baristas were polite.

Coffee and bakery also soft serve ice cream. Large seating area and service. They have every type of coffee menu. Standard menu and also drip coffee with in house roasted coffee bean from around the world. English menu are available and Staffs can communicate English. For drip coffee pay at the cashier first and you will get ticket for give them to the drip bar. I got drip coffee and for me is ok. Good place to have coffee in Shibuya and Omotesando area. Cash and credit card are OK.

Highly recommend this coffee house for those coffee lover . For sure they serving good quality of coffee with couple options , and some bakery . Don’t miss up their NY Ring , which is really pair with coffee, and the soft serve was really nice to be a sweet finishing . The ambience of the coffee house is cozy , and very strong of the coffee smell surrounding indoor seat.

NOZY has been a new experience for me on manual coffee. All this time, I've never truly enjoyed Frenchpressed coffee cause I've never found one with taste that's enjoyable. When we first ordered at the counter, the menu said manual coffee. Nubie as I am, I thought it was filtered either via v60 or other means. But the guy at the counter explained that it is Frenchpress and told me to go to the manual coffee counter at the back after we paid. Let me tell you, it's whole new experience for me. The batista guide me to selections of coffee beans that they have available. Even explaining to me how each of the coffee would taste to see if anything would intrigue me. And it did, as I finally put my choice on Nicaraguan coffee beans. After a few minutes of waiting, the barista returned with my coffee. It was served in a cup and smells amazing. As I took a sip, I can taste a hint of sweetness to it without any bitterness of what so ever and I even end up ordering second cup 😁 The ambiance of the Cafe is very enjoyable. Aside for the manual coffee that I had, they also have a few selection of hot and cold beverages, be it coffee, tea or lemons. And they also have Brioche and NY Ring doughnut to accompany your beverage. All-in-all it has been an amazing coffee experience for me.

Google
One of the few coffee shops that open till late. Great space inside and outside the coffee. Few selections of sweets are available. They have amazing bean with many different varieties and flavours. With few beans that are selected or won the Cup of Excellence.

Google
I have been wanting to travel from the States to come to Tokyo for vacation and to see this roastery. Mr Nojo is a true crafter by how he has not only created great coffee experiences but helped others learn as well. I tried a Brazilian and a Costa Rica and found both were very full-bodied but clean to the cup! Amazing!!

Wan Ling

Google
Reliably great coffee and service - have been here a number of times over the years and they never disappoint. Recommend the Brazil Recanto iced americano. In addition to the freshly brewed coffee, you can purchase the beans as well (200 yen off the beans if you purchased a drink!)

Yelp
One of my favorite spots that I visited in Tokyo! The Roastery by Nozy Coffee is a popular coffee shop and well-deserved. They're a roastery, so they roast their own beans and have coffee beans for sale. The price is a little more expensive than other places, but it's worth it. I ordered the Cafe Latte with Peru Santa Monica beans. They have two selections of beans that you can choose from for your drink. Each sip was amazing, you can taste the quality of the coffee. The coffee is excellent, if you're a coffee snob, this is definitely the place to visit.

Kelvin L.

Yelp
Very helpful in choosing the caffeine beverage. English speakers welcomed! Credit card available :) and great americano! Got to stop by again to try their ice cream (which tons of customers appear to be grabbing)

Erik S.

Yelp
A great coffee shop in a trendy area. Very nice outdoor seating! Espresso is roasted on the darker side and my drink was a little over-aerated. But very nice nonetheless. A great place to visit, particularly on a nice day.

Patricia O.

Yelp
Great coffee and espresso, personalized service, ambiance feels very much has its own character and local although it's located in a touristy area. Definitely a must visit if you're in the area or a coffee aficionado. I brought home many of their dip-style coffee bags and award-winning espresso beans.

Angela D.

Yelp
Good coffee, friendly staffs & really informative. Great place to hang out. I would go back again.

Alex N.

Yelp
This place is pretty awesome for a 3rd wave coffee spot in Japan. They're very knowledgeable about their beans and extractions and will let you personally choose which espresso beans to use for your shot if you ask. Also if you have it available get the "NY Ring" pastry it's essentially a churro dusted cronut

Alejandro C.

Yelp
Found this gem while shopping in Omotesando. I got the Indonesian Americano which was delicious. The vibes here are incredible. The industrial, minimalistic interior with spacious seating was nice. Customer service was also excellent. As a Los Angeles native, I only pray we can eventually have a cafe like this!

Art V.

Yelp
Great place to take a break from walking the strip and shopping. Cool interior where you can check out the roastery, a nice patio to people watch, and nice/helpful staff. While on my trip I saw an older Asian man waiting for his train kicking back a cold one - and I thought "Whoa! He's not even hiding it in a fast food cup" - so after a little jealousy and research it turns out drinking in public is legal in Japan! Soo, at The Roastery, I grabbed breakfast: a cronut and coffee... porter! and chilled on the patio enjoying the Japanese culture :P Cronut, Beer - Solidly good Drinking in public - Also good

David L.

Yelp
Great decor for IG, and above average coffee for Japan, but lower bound of what's drinkable if you've even thought about grinding your own beans. Please don't serve my espresso in a mug next time.

Dennis A.

Yelp
Located in Shibuya's Cat St., right next door to the Ralph Lauren Polo Store is The Roastery by Nozy Coffee. Ran by the people behind Setagaya's Nozy Coffee and by by restaurant owners - Tysons Japan, The Roastery by Nozy Coffee in Shibuya has a simple concept and that's "Single origin coffee". Single origin coffee is differentiated by where the beans were grown and who raised them and The Roastery wants to introduce the taste of coffee coming from one single place. The employees will help one find the bean that fits their tastebuds from the 8 different types available. The latte soft cream is made from milk and espresso made right in the shop. The Coffee Porter is made by the company's expert brewers using espresso ground at the brewery. And the location sells their famous N.Y. Rings which are fresh donuts made from croissant dough and the pastries are brought fresh from the bakery is a perfect mach to the coffee. The cafe latte is very good at this location and I do recommend people in the Shibuya Cat St. area of giving this place a try! The location is convenient for hanging out and talking with friends, the location is spacious and overall vibe is very cool! But most importantly, the coffee is delicious! But if you are not a coffee fan and want to partake in alcohol, the location also sells whiskey. If you happen to be hungry after drinking your coffee and want something aside from pastries, make sure you stop by Tyson's popular BBQ restaurant, the Smokehouse, an American-style BBQ restaurant upstairs.

Yelp
LOVE the Roastery. What a very, very cool and super amazing space in the middle of a shopping street in this narrow alley area of Tokyo. They have a huge variety of beans that you can pick from and you can get any type of beans with any type of coffee you order from an espresso drink to a pourover. Speaking of pourovers, they are excellent here. The Roastery has the work environment atmosphere so you'll find more laptops here than usual. They have free wifi and a cute outdoor deck where you can people watch all the people who are shopping along the street. The street is lined with pricier shops than normal, so it's a great pit stop to just relax and enjoy the weather!

Jennifer K.

Yelp
This cup of Cafe Latte Double Shot with Indonesia Alur Badak (480 Yen) at The Roastery might be the best cup of coffee I had during my weekend in Tokyo. From the balanced of the espresso (double shot!!) and the nicely frothed milk and the lovely latte art. I love the space here too. They even have a nice patio up front facing the street if you want to do some people watching. A ultra chill and relaxing coffee joint that make amazing coffee and extra bonus points of roasting their beans in house and even have cupping sessions if you want to know more about the beans. Love love love this place!

Katie Y.

Yelp
Yum! Finally found a decent shop for espresso drinks. The baristas are very educational when it comes to the different types of beans, and you get to choose the type of beans that your drink is made with. The shop is very cute, it was rather empty when I arrived (in the morning on a weekday) and it was a nice day so the front completely opened up to the little courtyard seating area. There's a separate area in the back for purchasing beans/roasting them, and you can completely specify exactly how much you want to purchase (by weight). I had to guess (I intended to buy just a bag) but ended up getting a standard bag and a little extra, oh well, the more the merrier. Anyway, an adorable little coffee shop with high quality espresso. If I'm back in the area I'll absolutely be back.

Alexa L.

Yelp
Beautiful coffee shop in Shibuya on Cat Street.. gorgeous interior where they have the beans on display for you to smell and even coffee bean tastings in the back.. The front outdoor seating area is beautiful as well! A great place to take a break from shopping and enjoy a drink. I did take a star off because it was pricey for the coffee itself..and the employee wasn't the friendliest..but he may have been having a bad day..Also, not a lot of options here..this is one of those purist coffee shops..so just latte, iced latte, or Americano basically...

Hans-Peter G.

Yelp
This place has it all...cool, central pedestrian zone location, lovely interior filled with seating and imbibed with the smell of roasting coffee beans, delicious pastries, especially the NY Rings (aka Cronuts) and of course...stellar coffee! Highly recommended as a stop for coffeination and getting a sugar fix

Nhina S.

Yelp
It is lovely to be greeted by the smell of coffee beans as you enter The Roastery. They offer you a selection of different beans for your order and explain the differences between them so that you can choose the beans that fit to your liking the best. A nice and hip atmosphere perfect for a good coffee after walking around in Harajuku and Omotesando. Seats for two in plenty but if you are more than that it might be difficult to sit down. I really enjoy their creamy and thick latte, both hot and iced. But I do wish they could offer soy milk or other option for normal milk, then it would be perfect.

J J.

Yelp
Good coffee, a bit pricy. Great spot to take a break if you are getting tired of walking around the brandname shops!

Rachel R.

Yelp
They roast the beans on site in a spotless facility. There is plenty of seating inside and out to enjoy your coffee. While the latte was nice, it was not my favorite in all of Tokyo, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it if you're in the area. I especially enjoyed their soft serve which came in a perfectly crisp cone. And I was intrigued to see they seem to have supplies for making espresso cocktails but I didn't see an option to order one. (Perhaps that is only at night?) The staff mostly speak English and are incredibly nice. Even though the shop is extremely busy, they do a great job cleaning all the tables between customers and helping you find a seat.

Marie T.

Yelp
A very cool, hip vibe! I didn't have a try of the coffee but the smell of the grinding coffee beans tell me that it is delicious! I did satisfy my sweet tooth with their version of a Cronut! A dense sweetness that I probably will never get over. It is different from the Dominique Ansel bakery Cronut as this New York Ring has no filling or icing on the top. But, nonetheless, very yummy. They also have soft serve ice cream on a cone! --- coffee flavor and vanilla! This will be my next treat as I will probably be revisiting! The space is big but not great for bigger groups. We came here on a Saturday afternoon and it was packed!!! The inside has bar type seatings along the walls and there are roughly 2 - 3 round tables outside to seat 3-4. Other than that, you settle for benches. It's a good place for people watching as the pedestrian street is lined with shops. The location is right across The North Face Kids.

Alex K.

Yelp
The Roastery is a fashionable coffee shop located in between Shibuya & Omotesando. It is on the first floor of T.Y Harbor's "The Smokehouse" and is run by the famous Nozy Coffee (which its original store can be found in Sangenjaya) The Roastery has a very nice San Francisco Mission District style interior & serves great coffee (somewhat similar to the quality of Streamer's Coffee). The employees are also very charming and nice. It does not have free wifi but does have many outlets inside. They also have outdoor seating which is dressed with fairy lights & outdoor heaters.

Scott S.

Yelp
Something for everyone. Four and a half stars rounded up to five. I would normally give establishments like this five stars, but there are so many other amazing cafes and coffee houses in Tokyo that put a more astringent emphasis on quality; not to take away from Nozy Coffee's world-class coffee of course. The Roastery excels at pretty much every facet of coffee they put out. The espresso from their espresso bar is pulled nice and thick but at the same time velvety smooth and not at all bitter. Their hand drip / aeropress bar served me one of the cleanest cups of Honduras El Aguacate I've ever had, but it was missing a little bit of oomph that would normally have me singing Miley Cyrus or threatening to upside peoples' mamas because it's just that good. Jokes and threats aside, I enjoyed every cup of coffee I tried at the Roastery and it would definitely make a dream addition to any neighborhood anywhere else in the world, but with it being smack dab in the middle of the Coffee mecca known as Shibuya, mere minutes away from other giants such as Streamers, Hatou, On the Corner, and also Paddlers in the past, it sort of falls just a little bit short of standing out against the "competition." I'm sure other branches of Nozy Coffee are a little bit more specialized and feel a bit more personal, but I didn't get as much of that vibe from the Roastery as I'd hoped; they do offer cupping sessions and roast on site which is awesome for any inspiring coffee lover, but I'd still like to see them focus on one thing and blow everyone out of the water (if you know about Nozawa a.k.a. "Nozy"'s backstory, you'll agree that he's perfectly capable of this) rather than spread themselves out a little thin. Either way, I strongly recommend this place if you're in the area and need a quick jolt to keep your metaphorical batteries up and running.

Richard L.

Yelp
Uber cool setting. Friendly staff. Unfortunately, my espresso shot was watery and lacking body. Given their speciality seemed to be drip and pour over, I can forgive them this transgression. I would go back just for the awesome setting, facing the street surrounded by wood and beautiful people. Second visit - far superior coffee in taste and presentation. Thanks guys - that's worth a star! The cronut/New York ring is the bomb!

Chanh H.

Yelp
As hipster as hipster gets I guess. I'm from Dallas, Texas and we are pretty infamous for having hipster coffee places to hangout at (for young and old but mostly for younger crowd). This place was a little taste of home I guess?? Unfortunately I came to Japan for a more Japan coffee shop feel that seemed more local and unique. Don't get me wrong the coffee was pretty good and they even had some generic latte art to complete hipster trifecta (Latté art, hipster lounge area and name, overpriced tiny sweets). The sweets I'd definitely pass on. Pricey and taste was 2/5. Cute tho, so if you want a kawaii Instagram picture I'd grab a few, lol. Guilty as charged. Honestly the coffee I've had better and the atmosphere was very American so take it as you will. Worth a try. Revisit? Possibly, possibly not...located in a cute area tho! *Also they spoke decent English there!*

Michelle K.

Yelp
amazing coffee place. I love that they offer heated outdoor seating. their roastery is right in the back, it smells like heaven!! their prices are more than reasonable for that location. my husband tried the cronut and he liked it. we ordered a latte and a doppio. I liked mine, the latte was a little too strong for my husband. all in all a great experience with very friendly staff.

Eric B.

Yelp
I'd read the reviews and had been curious about this place for a while, thing is they don't open super early which isn't convenient when "but first coffee" is the first thought as you roll out of bed. So I stopped in one afternoon instead for a pick me up. The place is busy but I'm the only one in line at the order counter / cash register. I order one regular latte with normal whole milk and no extras for here and the bill is 1600yen ... hmm that's odd... I receive my coffee in a to-go cup - whatever ... and take it out on the patio. Minutes later, the barista comes out with a second drink in hand... he didn't take my order, he just makes them, we both look at each other with a confused look and both go back inside to explain the confusion to the cashier. Clearly I'm alone and only wanted a single drink, money is refunded and extra drink is taken back. The barista made a great drink - no criticism there. But even at "just" $8 (not $16) for a regular sized latte, I honestly couldn't justify going back. Too expensive for what it is.

Anar I.

Yelp
Amazing coffee. Get the machiato, you won't regret it I usually get capuchino and was hesitant to get machiato but I am so glad I did.

Mike G.

Yelp
This place has the best iced latte I've had so far in Tokyo. I highly recommend it.

Lani P.

Yelp
I left The Roastery after our time in Tokyo on a first-name basis with the baristas. They're just that kind of people. The fact they pour one of the best coffees I had the pleasure of drinking in Japan is icing on the cake. You've got a choice from an edited selection of in-house roasted beans. My favourite was the Nicaragua. The Roastery is located in the hip back streets of Shibuya and is a gentle and easy stroll from Shibuya crossing or from Omotesando Hills. The space is warehouse-chic and while there's no WiFi, there are plenty of power points scattered throughout for laptop or phone charging. Each time I visited it was like a little slice of cafes at home and there's plenty of space to stick around for a while. If you're not a massive coffee drinker and the time calls for it, there's also a coffee beer they've been brewing in partnership with the restaurant upstairs. Pro Tip: Pair your coffee with a New York Donut (aka cronut).

Chad C.

Yelp
Amazing atmosphere, beautiful store, the most tasty (oeshei) cappuccino, and the friendliest staff! I 10/10 would recommend coming here. The staff also speaks very good English!

Laura N.

Yelp
Love the vibe at St Ali (Now Workshop Espresso) in London? Market Lane in Melbourne? Stumptown in Portland? Then you'll feel right at home at The Roastery in Tokyo. This is a coffee shop lover's coffee shop. Don't get me wrong, coffee lovers will enjoy The Roastery as well, but even above the coffee, the shop itself is a total winner. High industrial ceilings, massive shop lights, exposed brick, reclaimed wood, polished concrete floors, wooden pallet benches, a massive island that serves as a 360 degree counter, open floor plan, loads of high-top and bar seating - it really just nails that "coffee shop" vibe that everyone from work-from-home, coffee shop junkies to Hollywood set builders are trying to capture. The menu is simple - espresso, americano, or latte - and you select your beans from what's been roasted that day by the enormous roaster in the back of the shop. A few pastries are on offer, but let's be honest, that's not why you're here. You're here to drink a good cup of coffee in a fantastic atmosphere in one of Tokyo's coolest neighbourhoods. Enjoy it for all it's worth!

Matt P.

Yelp
Damn good coffee shop. Just forget about all of the chains that seem to every corner of Tokyo and make it a point to stop here if you need your morning, mid day, or evening java. The Roastery has vast selection of coffees to choose from, mostly from Central and South America. I took up the barista on one of her 2 recommendations, being the La Mora out of Honduras. The brew was as advertised and did the job, as I was looking for strong brew to really open the eyes in the morning. The barista also let me sample her other recommendation, the Salaca out of Costa Rica. It was a very unique blend, with a hint of honey. Not something I would drink on a regular basis, but a very interesting taste. Outside of the coffee, they also serve baked good and food, but like many of the other reviews have raved about, I'll rave about the espresso ice cream. It's true to what it is, a strong espresso flavored, soft serve ice cream. Definitely worth a shot on a hot, humid day.

Scott H.

Yelp
This place is actually owned by TY harbor group. Coffee is sourced from Nozy, and they have a separate counter in the back where you can buy beans. Cool roasting machine on premises, seems like they will go deep on coffee education if your language skills are up to it. TY harbor connection means the pastries are excellent, although they only stock a few items. Coffee is excellent though a bit pricey. Expresso drinks only, nothing brewed or sweet - which I like. Great service from friendly staff. Location is on Cat Street adjacent to Ralph Lauren brick building. Coffee is first floor, second floor is TY's Smokehouse BBQ place.

Holly R.

Yelp
Such a great little spot to stop in and take a break from shopping. The people there are super friendly to non-Japanese speakers, and the coffee is great too! However, my favourite part about this place is their espresso ice cream!

Xena N.

Yelp
On a hot humid Tokyo day, this place was heaven! Nice seating area, good AC, good vibes... amazing espresso ice cream and delicious Honduran iced coffee! The customer service is amazing and they speak English!!!! Would definitely recommend!

Alisa K.

Yelp
A really cute little coffee shop in the back area of harajuku/shibuya area called "Cat Street" it is run by Nozy Coffee and has a very western feel to it. There arent too many seats so when its crowded it isn't really comfy but there are many seats including study seats with outlets. There are also seats outside on the patio and the coffee shop also sells beans that they can grind right there for you. We have been enjoying our mexico blend. This would be a cool date place. :)

Reid Y.

Yelp
Fantastic nano-roastery in Tokyo. The staff is extremely nice - we ordered an Americano, they made a latte, we corrected them and they apologized profusely, promptly making our drink and refunding us 10 yen. Before ordering they also asked us which beans they'd like them to use - we were able to smell and learn about the flavor characteristics of each. In the back they also roast coffee, very cool if you haven't seen this before. All in all a very nice place that I'd highly recommend visiting if you're looking for artisinal coffee in Tokyo!

Mojo M.

Yelp
Stopped in here for a latte after dinner last night. I have to confess that I mostly drink Starbucks so I don't know much about all the different beans and roasting and all of that. My husband and I each ordered the smallest size latte, which they offered two types of beans, so we got one of each to try. They were both very good, quite different from each other, and exactly as the barista had described them. They were also pretty strong- much more of an espresso flavor than I'm used to, but very good flavor. It's a nice place to hang out, very industrial- warehouse feel. And although some of the other reviews say otherwise, they DO have wifi. Maybe they just got it, but you just need to ask the barista for the password. Some of the tables inside are very tiny, but there are a couple big ones, and lots of room on the patio out front.

Georges S.

Yelp
Great coffee and atmosphere. Super Non-English-speaker friendly. I love good cup of coffee, but I sometimes wish they serve herb tea type thing for those don't take caffeine. They have good pastry as well. I particularly like their N.Y. Rings and their Cheese Cake.

Shaun C.

Yelp
I consider myself a coffee connoisseur, and frequent a lot of the top coffee shops in my native Toronto or when I travel. The latte at Nozy is exceptional! The baristas really put a lot of care into the process and are great at their craft. Highly recommend this place, both for the coffee and the ambiance.

Kristell G.

Yelp
Love everything about this coffee place: the staff is lovely, the coffee flavoursome and expertly made, the ice cream delicious (try the espresso), the pastries fresh and diverse and the environment oh so chilled! All this with the smell of roasting beans... really wish I could take the place back to the Uk!

KK D.

Yelp
Went out of my way to check out this place and unfortunately left disappointed. Tried the iced latte and americano and both were average (compared to other coffee places I've tried throughout Japan). Average could be forgiving except for the lack of ambiance (very dark and dim) and the price tag! Spent 1110 yen on the smallest iced latte size and the americano, with that much I would expect exceptional coffee. Didn't try the drips or pour overs so can't give any thoughts on that. I won't be back, bummer!

Winnie T.

Yelp
This place is amazing!! If you are a coffee fan and touring Japan, you HAVE TO come here!! It's amazing!! The coffee is freshly and professionally brewed and each bean flavor they have is super amazing in smell and taste (tried like 3 diff coffee flavors and they're all good)!! I ended up buying quite a bit to bring back to the States. My brother loves it as a gift and that's how I know it's really good (my brother is super picky about coffee). He says these are naturally roasted so they have a unique and delicious flavor (a little on the sour side, but that's just how they are roasted) Staff was really helpful and polite! Even though my Japanese isn't the finest, they still tried their best to talk and choose the one I would like! Super friendly!! If I ever have the chance, I'm definitely coming back here again!!

Jonathan Y.

Yelp
First time in Tokyo and was really hoping some decent coffee for jet lag and glad to found this gem. Very nice coffee and great atmosphere.

Rachel F.

Yelp
I love the coffee house vibe here. It's a roaster, so you can choose your beans or buy some to take home. They have an assortment of pastry and air conditioned indoor seating as well as a lovely shaded outdoor area. This lovely shopping street offers a calm respite to the otherwise hectic Meiji-Jinguemae Mae/Omote-Sando area.

Vin A.

Yelp
If Cafe L'ambre is the old guard of Tokyo's coffee scene, then this place is the future. Young staff doing everything from roasting to pouring. Simple menu and very easy to understand for non-Japanese speakers. Cafe Latte is their best seller and they let you pick the beans (they will give you beans to smell). Great vibe with the roasting machine as centerpiece.

Tony P.

Yelp
Read the reviews on yelp and was eager to try this place. However - It was a let down. Coffee wasn't good. The barista added too much milk so it tastes like milk tea. (Lol)

Gino M.

Yelp
Calling all espresso lovers! This place is exceptional. They roast in house and have a selection of at least two roasts. We walked 3.3km to get to this gem, and we're not disappointed. We ordered two espresso macchiatos and a latte, and paid the extra for the medium roast Brazilian bean. The barista said it was a little creamier. The macchiatos we're served in a small glass, which was odd, and the latte in a traditional cup. Bitter sweet with balanced acidity, just the way I like it! Best in Japan so far! The only knock was, no wifi!

Katherine R.

Yelp
Tasty as it looks. Their espresso machines have timers above each espresso shoot, guaranteeing the perfect pulling of your shots every time.

Yelp
If you found yourself exhausted after a fruitful shopping at Omotesando, you may want to stop by this very industrial chic cafe for a cup of coffee. The cafe is cool to hang out with friends, with a roasting coffee beans machine right at the back. They also sell coffee beans. You also order coffee drips, besides all the espresso and flat white. I would say this place is legit, except for the lack of comfortable tables and chairs for the patrons. This could be intentional, otherwise no one would leave. Wifi is provided for the patrons, just shamelessly ask for the passwords from your cashiers or waiters.

Yelp
Went to this perfect coffee shop two times in my one week of staying in Shibuya. I got the Costa Rican iced latte both times and I was hooked. What I was really hooked on, however, were the NY donuts (aka cronuts!) Sweet, sugary, melt-in-your-mouth PERFECTION. I highly recommend these donuts. I tried the other pastries as well and while they were good, they are not as memorable as the donuts. I absolutely loved the location, the atmosphere, the wonderful service, and the friendly foreigners. I just really, really miss Japan. Anyway, I will most definitely be back and will make sure to come by this cafe again. Meanwhile, I will dream of the donuts.
