I strongly recommend signing a lease at The Rocks. Rodney and the leasing office staff are exceptional — it’s clear they genuinely care about the residents and work hard to run the community smoothly and professionally. They regularly host fun events throughout the year (often with great food), which adds to the welcoming and community-oriented atmosphere. My apartment was modern, spacious, and equipped with new appliances. I had no issues during my time there, aside from low water pressure in the shower — everything else was excellent. The maintenance team does a great job of making sure your unit is running well. If you’re looking for a well-managed, friendly, and comfortable place to live, The Rocks is a great choice!

WOULD GIVE A HALF STAR RATING IF POSSIBLE. I lived with Rollie Pollie bugs in my bedroom for the entire year. No matter how many maintenance requests I would make they would never hire a professional pest company. At move out they charged an absurd amount for ”cleaning” even though when we moved in the conditions were unlivable. For example, $66 dollars for the fridge(which was cleaned). Don’t let the friendly office staff fool you they will nickel and dime you on every possible thing. Do not sign a lease here unless you like paying absurd amounts for a gross apartment.

My daughter moved out on 7/31 and received a letter starring she owes money for carpet that was damaged and documented during the move in check in and something in the laundry area. She has called several times and emailed since 8/4 and has not received a response . This is extremely unprofessional to charge a newly graduated student for damaged they did not do and not answer the phone, or provide proof or documentation of damage or locate the move in check in that noted the carpet . The letter threatens collections after 30 days but she has been unable to reach someonr in the office.

One of the worst places I have ever lived. I only lived there for 3 months and I had so many issues. They messed up my move-in date despite discussing it with their office and managers multiple times and it being on my lease agreement. I then got locked out of my apartment on a Saturday evening (10pm-ish) after my key stopped working. I had to wait two hours for the on-call maintenance person to show up and let me in. When he did he was very rude and not proactive in trying to fix the situation. They had nothing in place to get me a new key fob until Monday when they opened. Eventually the property manager dropped off a key for me Sunday evening after pestering them multiple times over the day. Then we discovered our living room wall was infested with mold due to a leak in the upstairs apartment. They were not responsive and I had to call almost every day to get any update on the situation. I eventually had to move out early for my own health and safety after they continuously tried to convince me that I didn’t have to. The property managers now are ignoring all my calls and voicemails about the situation and a refund for having to move out early. The apartments are dated and had many issues. The parking situation is ridiculous with only 8 guest spots for the entire complex and the employees take them all through the entire day. The walls are terribly thin and you can hear everything happening around your building. I wouldn’t tell my worst enemy to live here.

I have enjoyed living here. I was having a stressful day and out of the blue, the property manager called me and said I was chosen to get a surprise lunch delivered to me. This made my day! I l am comfortable in my home and I love taking advantage of the gym. The office staff is very helpful. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because of parking I know they cant control it because the parking lot is small but hopefully other people will begin to follow the rules.

The apartments are very nice and a good price compared to other college living (even though still expensive). My son and his friends have decided to stay a second year. The communication with the offices, though, is TERRIBLE. Before my son moved in, it literally took weeks of emails and calls to get someone on the phone, then another set of weeks to get a call-back (they kept saying they were "escalating it" but I still never got calls. I had one or two really simple questions. They still do not answer emails promptly; it usually takes a few nudge emails to get a response. Seriously, it is the worst in communication. If you don't want to know anything about furnishing, why there are certain charges on your account, how to get something fixed... this is a nice place.

Aside from a whole leasing incident that took weeks to resolve because of switched management and last minute renewals, my experience is pretty decent.

This is the worst apartment community ever. My son currently lives here and we are going through some rough times financially. The rent is not even over a month late and they keep threatening my son with eviction instead of trying to work with us. Do not stay here. It takes forever to get anything fixed. The A/C was broke when we moved in during 90 degree weather, it took them 3 months to fix it. They emailed everyone about assigned parking at the beginning of September but it is now almost January and they finally have assigned parking but my son has no parking spot. This place is very bad at managing. There are plenty of better different places around to rent.
