I went for the first time to hear a concert. The acoustic was better than expected and the chairs better than the first impressions. I finally enjoy the whole venue.

Nice venue , very friendly staff. I even think they work with volunteers. U don’t have to pay for toilets that’s something u don’t find anywhere. U can choose how much u pay for The cloakroom or you can not pay. That’s awesome. Really like how the venue is ran. I went to see Maribou state and it was a pleasure. My friends were down and complained abouth the sound and lights. But once they saw my videos from upstairs they understood it was good. Just shows how much perspective makes the experience. I am a happy returning customer!

Lovely venue but the ushers there are not well trained. Anytime someone came in late they would talk very loudly and not wait for a break to have the latecomers sit in their seats. It was highly disruptive and rude.

Wow what an amazing venue and run by the lovely volunteers. We had a great show here and the food backstage for tea was spot on. The backstage area is very nice and the history of the place is fascinating.

Lovely older concert venue. Beer is served in hard plastic cups but not too expensive. Sound quality is acceptable and the line up usually quite good. For less mobile people they have a large seated balcony.

My favourite concert hall in Antwerp. First of all it looks amazing, the place used to be a cinema back in the day and has lots of classical decorations. Second the venue is not too big, so you actually have a decent view of the artists. And most importantly: Amazing volunteers! Who make you feel welcome and are real nice. The drinks aren't expensive for a concert venue, similar to any barcin the area. If you want to do something different in Antwerp and you love ballroom dancing I'd also recommend the T-dansant!

Great location! There is a lot of space and the people working there are really friendly. I had the pleasure to see one of my favorite artists. I only wish there were sitting places, the ones already in the building were closes to the public.

Tonight i was standing in - one of the remarkable gems in Antwerp - De Roma; a delicately restored movie palace from the 1920s. A historic and intimate venue, situated just outside the heart of the city and only a 11 minutes tram ride away from Antwerpen - Centraal railway station (tram 10 Wijnegem and 24 Silsburg, get off at "De Roma", +/- 1.8 km). After a 20-year(!) closure, it rose like a phoenix from the ashes with renewed beauty. In 2003 De Roma reopened after extensive renovation. Today it has been reclaimed as a venue for live music, as well as for movies, comedy and theatre. And maybe one day De Roma will be able to retake its place as one of the crown jewels of the entertainment venues. No doubt, even the stars will shine brighter after a full renovation. FYI: The Turnhoutsebaan in Borgerhout is notorious for being a "bad neighbourhood". Whether the neighbourhood deserves the bad rep or not, it's not up to me to say. But if u want to grab a drink after the concert, i do recommend u to go back to the Keyserlei.
