The best hostel I ever visited. Great service, great location and the staff is out of this world. Food is delicious, bed so comfy and breakfast is simply amazing ! Definitively I want to recommend it to every person that comes to Rome ! You will thank me later ❤️ Jacopo in reception was so helpful with the rest of the staff. Kindness at its best at breakfast time … No words …

I stayed at The RomeHello for 4 nights at 10-person mixed dorm and I would rate it 10/10! 100% clean, perfect ventilation, enough privacy, comfy beds and lockers and doors that create minimum noise. Big kitchen with all the necessities and a life-saving vending machine with good sandwiches that are the perfect breakfast for people who must leave early for sightseeing. Welcome drink at the bar next door (soft drink or small beer) and 10% off for anything else you order during your stay. Staff was very helpful and nice. This was my first time in a 10-person dorm, but I don't think it can get any better than that.

This place made our trip to Rome Spectacular!! 5 plus stars! Friendly staff is an understatement! The room for the 3 of us was perfect in every way! Clean! Activities! highly recommend the breakfast option and we would have eaten at the restaurant every night if we could have! The owner and managers of Timoty's were so friendly; loved Sad! Everyone made this place feel like home to us right from the beginning! Great Job, Keep doing what you are doing!

One of the Best Places I’ve Ever Stayed! I had an amazing experience at this hostel. The staff were incredibly friendly, respectful, and always ready to help. What truly sets this place apart is the vibrant atmosphere created by the daily events—karaoke nights, dance parties, food festivals, and more. There's always something fun happening! The rooms were clean, tidy, and comfortable. It’s a great place not just for solo travelers but also for families. The location is perfect—close to all the major historical attractions in Rome. I highly recommend this lovely hostel for an unforgettable stay in the Eternal City!

I stayed here back in April (2025) for about 5 days and it was such an amazing and unforgettable stay as a first time solo traveler in Rome. I highly recommend this place for women that travel alone. I felt safe the entire time. The area is so conveniently close to the Termini Train Station. There is a shared kitchen space, the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. I was able to hang out in the common area until my check in time at 2 p.m. and they even offered to hold on to my luggage until my bed was ready. I booked a 4 person mixed dorm. There is a bar and restaurant in the same building, a cute and vibey patio to relax after a long day of walking every where. I rarely needed a taxi to get back to the hostel and that was for when I went on a day trip, but the Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Pantheon, are all within walking distance each way. Everything is so nice and clean. The sheets are changed frequently. Just an overall great experience. I truly wish all hotels/ hostels were like this. I will probably continue to compare my future accommodations to this place.

We loved our stay — short but sweet! The staff were absolutely amazing and truly a great asset to the hostel. The bed was comfortable, and the location couldn’t have been better — close to many points of interest, including Roma Termini, which made it perfect for our early train to Switzerland. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Great hostel, I had a wonderful 3-day stay. The rooms are neat and cleaned daily, the bathroom is also clean and fresh, the shower is working properly, with plenty of hot water. The staff at reception are always present, very friendly and helpful. The whole place has a very friendly and relaxed vibe, at the same it is not a noisy party hostel.

Great stay in RomeHello. New building, on small, quiet street. Spacious clean rooms; friendly, helpful staff, who know just about everything. Reception always open, entertainment on most evenings with staff member, like Karaoke. Kitchen well equipped, with large fridges, you can heat things up, cook a meal, or follow a cooking class. Location: walking distance from Termini station, and most sites, if you are average fit. It is great value for money. I will certainly stay here again, and highly recommend it.

Yelp
Rooms were very nice including en-suite bathrooms and staff was incredible - very helpful and called a cab for me this morning to the airport. Free drink upon arrival at the nearby pub but only beer or soft drink. I liked the cooking class I went to and it was a great deal for €8. Oddly though only 3 people came - it wasn't a very social hostel which could be a plus or a negative depending on your preference. It was a massive hostel and didn't seem to be at occupancy, and yet in my 4 person dorm the hostel didn't put me with a single woman over two nights. The first night it was 2 men and last night it was myself and 3 men. I'm aware that I booked a mixed dorm but imo hostel staff should try their best to avoid situations where a woman is isolated. This isn't the hostel's fault but one of my roommates was also terribly inconsiderate - letting his alarm ring endlessly in the morning & taking exorbitantly long showers etc. Location was fine, maybe a 15 minute walk or so from anything worth seeing or doing. Would I stay again? Hard to say because I hated Rome lol. Maybe.

Yelp
Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised to find the rooms larger than what we expected. The people were very friendly. Everything was very clean. Well, after a long day of roaming around Rome, we settled in for a good nights rest, but didn't get one. The beds are awful. They are hard as a rock. If the beds were comfortable, I would've actually given this place five stars but a hotel is to get a good nights sleep and you can't do that here.

Yelp
Best hostel I have stayed at, honestly felt like a hotel. We got a room with 4 twin beds for only $43 USD per person each night. Very reasonable prices and very comfortable place to stay in a good location accessible by walking and transit. Staff was very friendly and helpful. 5/5!
