The Roost

This was our second time staying at this beautiful 7-bedroom house, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered! The house is spacious, stylish, and spotless, with comfortable bedrooms and great social spaces. Its central location made it easy to explore Westport’s restaurants, pubs, and scenic spots. Linda, the host, is absolutely lovely—so welcoming, helpful, and attentive, ensuring everything was perfect for our stay. Her thoughtful touches made all the difference. We had an amazing weekend and will definitely be back again!

This house is honestly the most perfect location for a stay in Westport. Linda and Paul are the most incredible hosts, so thoughtful, nothing was too much trouble. She helped organize a gorgeous lady to help in the kitchen, sourced an early morning taxi, facilitated an early check in......and the list goes on. The house is so tastefully decorated from top to bottom, all rooms en suite, warm and cozy. I cannot recommend this property enough. So perfect for a group or large family stay. Just spent an amazing couple of days in this stunning, gorgeously appointed, accommodation. In need of a little bit of time-out I was delighted to find myself centrally located yet completely secluded in the beautiful gardens of The Roost. I stayed in The Garden Shed and every detail was so tastefully and carefully tended to. The bed was probably the best I've ever slept in, the quality of the linen and bedding was outstanding. My first night I slept a straight 13 hours, something I haven't done since I was a teenager! Westport is a superb destination for food/shopping/sea-swimming, beautiful drives, it has it all. The cherry on the top was find such great accommodation right in the heart of the town. Don't hesitate to book this super accommodation, you won't regreat it. Thanks Linda & Paul for a really wonderful stay.

Spent last weekend at the Roost. Excellent location, 2 minutes to the Main Street. Safe parking. Stayed in a one bed house on the grounds with kitchen living room and bathroom. Very well presented and furnished. The best bit was the privacy. Great base for local touring. Highly recommended.

Conveniently located a short walk from the town center, this lovely B&B features spotless, comfortable and spacious rooms along with two pleasant sitting rooms. There is also ample off-street parking. Our room, which faced the rear, was very quiet. A hearty hot breakfast, along with a generous, diverse cold buffet, was a great start to our day. The hosts are helpful and solicitous. Highly recommend.

What a beautiful place. We really loved our stay here (All be it too short). The house is so full of character and warmth, and the style is just so cozy. Breakfast was delicious, and we loved the old dresser and china in the dining room. There were 3 lovely hens wandering around happily outside too which we loved. A really great stay and lovely hosts. We will be back, and would definitly stay here over any of the hotels in town.

We booked two rooms for our group's stay. First, it was easy to find using a GPS. Paul, our host, had his phone number on the door. We called and he appeared to check us in a few minutes later. Our rooms were both clean and neat. One issue was there was not light working in the bathroom in one room for our stay. Breakfast was very good. There were also two public rooms where folks could hang out as wanted. Very close to the main part of downtown Westport with lots of restaurants and shops. Parking on site was great to have also.

We had a wonderful stay at St. Anthony's Riverside B&B. The rooms were spacious and clean. The location is great. Our host gave us terrific suggestions of where to eat and what to do. He couldn't have been more helpful. The breakfasts were delicious.
