The Rose Passage

Beautiful art piece that would be hidden to someone who was unaware of its existence. The story behind it is beautiful, but I feel like there should be a plaque to explain it, as far as I could see there wasn’t. When the light catches it it really is a spectacle

This enchanting passage is one of Łódź's most romantic and photogenic spots! Adorned with rose-patterned mosaics, colorful lighting, and artistic installations, this narrow alley perfectly blends the city's industrial heritage with modern art. The magical atmosphere becomes even more captivating when illuminated in the evening.

It's an interesting art object created by a talented artist. It looks better on a sunny day with sun playing in pieces of mirrors. However, this place is small and not seen from Piotrkowska Street. I was a bit surprised with the place selected for that art object. It is worth to be noticed.

I just loved this place. The art 🫰❤️. The whole building has been made with broken mirror glasses. Mainly, the look of this entire place is just beautiful 😍

The passageway, located at Piotrkowska 3, is the creation of artist Joanna Rajkowska, who transformed an ordinary courtyard into a dazzling installation. The walls of the courtyard are entirely covered with thousands of tiny, hand-cut mirrors. These fragments reflect light in every direction, creating a shimmering, dreamlike atmosphere as you walk through. Why it’s special: Tribute & Meaning – The installation was dedicated to Rajkowska’s daughter, Rosa, and symbolizes both fragility and resilience. The mirrors represent the broken yet shining fragments of life and memory. Urban Regeneration – It’s part of Łódź’s effort to rejuvenate its old courtyards and turn them into cultural and artistic spaces. Free & Accessible – Unlike many attractions, the Rose Passage is freely accessible to the public, inviting both locals and tourists to experience art in everyday life.

Great street art with amazing story behind it. Must see when in the city of Lodz.

Łódź doesn’t offer many fancy spots for tourists, but this is one of the few. Pasaż Róży is something unique. It’s a beautiful, mirror tiled courtyard that catches your eye as you start your walk down Piotrkowska Street

This is amazing to view. Happened to stumble across this. I was looking left and saw something glimmering. I saw it in the evening but it was so beautiful we will go back today during the day. The pictures don’t do this place justice!
