The Rosevine, Roseland Peninsula, Cornwall, UK - Explore & Book

"It’s a long drive to the beautiful Roseland Peninsula in south Cornwall, but 100% worth it for the quiet beaches, blue seas, stunning countryside and pretty villages you'll discover. And at the very end of this peninsula you'll find the welcoming white facade of The Rosevine, the hotel/apartment cross that's made UK family holidays a heck of a lot easier and a whole lot more chic. Yet despite its lovely interiors, there's an unpretentious, homely charm about the place that's perfect for calming post-journey frazzled nerves. This grand Georgian house is imbued with a fresh, seaside style and the team really thought of everything. Comfortable accommodation, check. Inviting communal spaces, check. A heated indoor pool and lovely playroom with a train set, board games and kids' films - check! Add to this in-room kitchenettes for preparing snacks, a sea-view restaurant, a vast garden with a playground, and a sandy beach just a stroll away. Family holiday heaven, indeed - but also a great place to enjoy Cornwall's charms in quieter months - dogs are welcome in certain rooms. Above all, what we really loved about The Rosevine was its small, intimate size, and homely ambiance. Staff are friendly, the vibe casual and relaxed. Highs Stylish accommodation: studios or 2-bed apartments. All have a reasonable amount of space and many have sea viewsHeaps of kids' paraphernalia to borrow, including buggies, sterilisers, baby backpacks and beach toysBeautiful Porthcurnick Beach is just steps away, as are foodie destinations The Hidden Hut and DriftwoodThe restaurant serves modern British food, afternoon teas and early kids' suppers. A real treat for grown-ups: adults-only lounge with wood-burning stove, heavenly beds and a candlelit restaurant - pack your baby monitor and 'dine out' Lows A strict cancellation policyCouples may prefer to avoid school holidays but don't write this place off, it's perfect for hiking the rest of the yearThe in-room kitchenettes are basic - no hobs, just a microwave-ovenThe indoor pool could become crowded in peak seasonSome rooms lack sea views, but all have their charms" - Kate Parsons

Stayed here one night on our way down to Lizard Peninsula. It was a lovely hotel right on the water and hidden away from everything and everyone. We had a nice room overlooking the gardens. Apparently they have a lot of weddings here which would be nice in summer months.|There are some lovely walks around as well. Had a lovely meal and breakfast as well.|Would recommend staying here as a base to explore the area.

Beautiful location with sea views, beach 3 mins away. All the staff very friendly and helpful. Great size rooms, we took our dog and it was the perfect hotel with fabulous walks on the coastal path..

We loved the rosevine which is in a fantastic location right by the coast path. It has a very relaxed feel and the staff are lovely. We stayed via secret escapes and got a great deal. On arrival we were upgraded to a family apartment which was huge. The accommodation was a little tired in places but very clean and comfortable. Our deal included breakfasts and these were great, with a good selection. We did have dinner once which was lovely if a bit pricey. We would happily return.

Overall the trip was memorable for all the right reasons. Even out of season the Rosevine offers everything you need. It's gardens are stunning and you are meters from a beautiful beach that grants you access to Portscatho via Porthcurnick Beach. The rooms to the pool, to the staff were faultless.||Treat yourself and visit, you wont be disappointed.

Location was beautiful, the hotel overlooking the sea. You can walk down to the beach from the hotel garden. Our room was big with a wooden floor and was comfy and warm. Small patio outside and enclosed garden was idea for our dog.

Lovely stay. Little bit tired, mould running down the swimming pool ceiling and raw chicken for dinner let it down but otherwise everything else was lovely. Spacious apartment, family room to entertain the kids, great location, parking and delicious breakfast.

Our son and daughter in law had their wedding there at the weekend. The accommodation is exceptional, with stunning views and provision for our dogs. The catering was outstanding. The staff are welcoming and ensure every need is met. Can’t recommend the whole experience highly enough.
