A Couple Drinks

Google
The Rossi is one of our favorite spots in the Short North! Their chicken parm is absolutely phenomenal - the saude is rich and flavorful, and the chicken is perfectly cooked, never dry. The mussels are always delicious. The bread service is a must! The butter with black salt takes it to another level! We also tried the mushroom pesto pizza, and it was incredible. The drinks can be excellent, depending on the bartender. Or good otherwise. A special shoutout to Amanda, the general manager - she’s fantastic! Always smiling, checking in on tables, and making sure everything is running smoothly. Rossi is a must-visit in the Short North!

I came in to celebrate my birthday, and Lindsey and Grace made it an unforgettable experience! Lindsey crafted amazing drinks, while Grace ensured everything was perfect. They recommended the Truffle Pizza and the French 75—both were fantastic. I’ll definitely be back for happy hour!

We were given free gift cards from a friend and popped in to check out this restaurant. It was so classy and swanky and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We started off with a couple of drinks that were delicious and moved on to a couple of appetizers. The appetizers were so unique and both were really good. We ordered a pizza for your main entree and a couple more drinks and again all of it was amazing. We have already told all of our friends how good it was and are planning another trip!

Google
ROSSI BAR, YOU NAILED IT! The IYKYK espresso martini was TOP. NOTCH. The real star of the show: the salmon with parmesan risotto and black truffle... truly superior doesn't even do it justice! The flavors were expertly balanced, and the presentation was stunning. HUGE shoutout to our server, Rick, who was super friendly and attentive - made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!

Google
Highly recommend The Rossi for a creative, tasty drink. Grace makes the best cocktails! So many small plate choices that pair really well with a drink. We opted for the calamari and lollipop lamb. Both off the charts. Finished by splitting the AMAZING chicken parmesan dish. Really wonderful evening all around.

Google
This is definitely a contender for Columbus’ best pasta. Have been waiting to review until I had experienced both the table service & dining in at the bar! Great selection of liquor, quick and attentive service, and best of all, HALF OFF WINE on Wednesdays! Pasta, wine, ambient environment. Will be back!

Google
We went there for my sons birthday celebration, the food was really good. We had Rossi burger, Truffle pizza( moms favorite with no red sauce), crust was awesome. We had fried ravioli , bruchetta and calamari which were all good. Bruchetta bread was a bit soggy in the middle. I would wanna go back to try other shareables that sounded all good. That would be a nice if they had a small candle with the desert that we ordered since they already knew we were there for a birthday:(

Google
The food was good both times. We made a reservation the 1st time we came & then sat at the bar for happy hour the 2nd time. We had good food & drink recommendations both times. We would just come back here again & especially on happy hour.

Yelp
First time at The Rossi did not disappoint. We were early for our reservations and sat at the bar for some cocktails. I got an espresso martini (7/10) and my friend asked for a mock tail and she was pleasantly surprised at how tasty it was (she's picky). The whipped ricotta, ravioli and pizza were absolutely delicious! It was definitely busy and loud but made for a great girls night. I will be going back!

Yelp
Service was super fast. Ambiance was great. Food was just okay. Ordered the chicken parm. The chicken was perfect, crispy and tasty. Cheese was light and the spaghetti it sat on was light on marinara. Asked for a side, but it was still bland. Everything needed some salt and a kick in the ass with some crushed red pepper.

Stacey B.

Yelp
Loved the moody atmosphere. I had the salmon and it was fantastic. I've never been a salmon eater and now have converted! The cocktails are great as well. Service was spot on! Will be back.

Yelp
Came here as a walk-in with two of my girlfriends Saturday night. Thankfully, we were able to get seated really quickly and greeted by our server within just a few minutes we decided to start off with the house bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. It was absolutely delicious. We also wanted to try a few of the starters so we ordered the fried ravioli and the ciabatta bread. The fried ravioli truly reminded us of pizza rolls so a little nostalgic. They were very flavorful and absolutely loved the bread too. It was nice and crispy on the outside and soft and delicious on the inside. For the my entree I got the carbonara my friends ordered the rigatoni and the burger. Everyone's food is absolutely amazing and we left completely stuffed. We will definitely be back to try something else on the menu!

Yelp
This is my second time coming for Happy Hour, and again, lived up to my expectations!!! The service is amazing and the food took a lot shorter than expected, especially since we ordered two pizzas and salads, along with our drinks. The pizzas were phenomenal and I cannot recommend them both, the truffle and seasonal butternut squash, enough! The restaurant itself is very pretty on the inside and the lighting is light just enough, without being too bright. The manager is also very lovely and you can tell they really care about the restaurant and customers. Will definitely be coming back!!

Yelp
My friends and I were for restaurant week. My friend was in-town for work and she's talked highly about Rossi so we were all looking forward to it. They had a small but mighty Restaurant Week Menu. We all ordered the Toasted Ravioli for our appetizer and it was delicious, were toasted to brown perfection. If you are planning to split them with multiple people I would recommend ordering two orders if so, you are not gonna wanna share! For my entree I ordered the Pasta Rossi and WHEW! It was exactly what I was looking for in pasta, (me and my boyfriend loved it) a creamy tomato sauce with chicken that had amazing flavor! Would definitely come here and order that again! The table next to us had pizza and it looked soo good, forsure getting that next time!

Yelp
I went here about 2 months ago on a Monday with a reservation around dinner time. It was moderately busy which you wouldn't really expect for a Monday. Street parking and maybe nearby garage parking are the parking options. The inside is really nice. I remember the big mirror in there as a nice touch. We started with drinks and I got the Rossi Martini. It was pretty good and I would order again. It wasn't too sweet or tart. For my meal I got the Pasta Rossi and it was delicious. The person I was with got the chicken parm and it looked delicious so I think I'll try that the next time I go! I was too full for dessert so the portions are definitely adequate. I would definitely go back!

Yelp
A Columbus classic, love The Rossi. We had a large party and the server was excellent from start to finish. She was prompt with drink and appetizer orders and checked back often but not too much. We had a couple of small request which came out perfectly. The food is always good. Consistent is how I would explain it. Always good, rarely exceptional, never disappointing. The atmosphere is dark and laid back. Easy to relax and have good conversation.

Yelp
The main section consist of both the bar along with a couple tables. There is a side section with some more seating area. Below are the things that I tried. Meatball | The texture is dense, but still retain the juiciness. The touch of fresh basil definitely help to balance out the flavor from the sauce and the meatball Pasta Rossi | This would be my favorite for the meal. The cream sauce is rich and on point. Along with the al dente fettuccine and a hint of heat from the chili flakes. Citrus Cheesecake Flight | Love to see the three little button shape cheesecake on the plate. The flavor is light and not overly sweet

Yelp
Nice happy hour prices, great ambiance, super friendly staff. They recently within the last year re-did their menu and it's so/so.

Yelp
We went for happy hour on a Friday afternoon. Upon entering. We were immediately greeted by the host and entered into a warm and cozy space. I felt like I was in a historic bar in NY or Chicago. High ceilings, gorgeous wood, padded bar seats and bar face so your legs aren't brushing against a hard surface. We sat at the bar where the bartenders and servers were noticeably friendly and attentive. Ultimately, this is one of my favorite happy hour menus in Cbus (half off pizzas, shareable, and $6 cocktails). We decided on a mushroom pizza, which had a nice umami flavor, crispy thin crust, and was pretty large and more than enough for two people to share. The calimari was crispy, nicely seasoned, and came with a unique basil dipping sauce (plus more traditional marinara). Finally, the margarita was a bit weak but still pretty good for $6. Looking forward to enjoying more from their happy hour menu in the future! Highly recommended for a quick bite with friends or a group.

Yelp
Very good food and very nice decor. The staff was friendly and the service was quick.

Yelp
We came here during happy hour and was I was excited to finally visit. Parking is the usual paid street parking. The restaurant is beautiful, the bar is so classy, and I would describe the atmosphere as cool retro jazz. It was a Tuesday evening, very calm and quiet, except for the kitchen noises. Their menu changed slightly, I think they had their pizzas for happy hour previously, but it wasn't this time. However, the OH pizza was delicious, crispy, sweet, spicy, fantastic. I would recommend this pizza, it's very good. We also got the meatballs, bruschetta, and truffle popcorn. I was not expecting the meatballs to be two massive balls, it was good and delicious, just a bit too salty. The popcorn was a bit soggy, but truffle flavor was good. The bruschetta also came on just two slices of bread and covered in tomato and balsamic vinaigrette goodness. The appetizers we got during happy hour ranges from $3-$4. We also got the mini Cosmo and Lemon Drop, and chardonnay to sip and those were good to pair with everything. I preferred the Lemon Drop a bit more, it gave a good sour and sweet balance. Overall, with mini drinks, appetizers, and pizza, the cost was about $53 before tip. It's not too bad when we shared with 3 people. I would come back for their pizza and a couple apps! I really like the atmosphere of the bar and staff was very nice and patient with us. Staff was nice to accommodate us and allowed us to choose somewhere else to sit. I would recommend this place for a casual date, a drink, and a delicious pizza. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the decor of the restaurant. I feel like outside of happy hour, it may be a bit expensive including parking, but it was pretty good during happy hour.

Yelp
Great happy hot spot with decent prices. Lamb lollipops are not included in the happy hour menu, but I do think they are worth trying if you like lamb. Drinks are great quality for the price
google avatar

Yelp
I have been to the Rossi twice and both times was for their happy hour - which is a steal! Apps are half off. I wish they had more HH white wine options though. The calamari is delicious. It comes with a great pesto like dipping sauce. The bread is so different. It's sweet, with a salty butter. Would recommend! The brussel sprouts are also delicious. The pizza was good - but nothing spectacular. I would probably skip of this next time.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is stupid delicious. I ordered the Rossi Martini and the hanger steak. The martini was perfect: Vodka, Aperol, Lemon, Vanilla, and Basil. The hanger steak is accompanied by a salad that's so on point as well as french fries. The french fries are like McDonald's texture plus the best seasoning. I should have taken a picture but it was too delicious to mess around with that. Additionally, the ambience is great. If you are in Columbus, but haven't been, get moving.
google avatar

Jolanta L.

Yelp
Pretty well prepared food. I like the how they prepared the salmon dish, the outside of the salmon was bit crispy and inside was flavorful. The service was good too. The non alcoholic drink was kind of over priced, literally just poured from a can, it wasn't made, wouldn't recommended.
google avatar

Anna L.

Yelp
This was a great spot for a happy hour with friends- the ambiance inside the restaurant was super nice, it kind of had a classy small town restaurant feel. The staff were all super kind and welcoming which added to this! We ordered the calamari, Brussels and bread service as appetizers. They were all good but nothing stood out exceptionally. The drinks were a great price with the happy hour deal and were delicious, my favorite I tried was the French 75. For the entrees, we ordered two pizzas, the truffle and the meatball pizza. The truffle was good but lacked flavor, I would have liked more balsamic glaze or maybe a thicker crust. The meatball pizza was filled with different flavors and toppings that made it my favorite dish of the night. Overall, I had a good time and the happy hour deals were great. This is a great spot for an early dinner and drinks!
google avatar

Claire R.

Yelp
I came here with a rep for a free dinner, so overall I had a wonderful time. The ravioli starter was lacking in filling but still good and the bruschetta was very fresh and delicious! I ordered the caprese salad with chicken, but it was NOT what I was expecting. It was a bed of lettuce with 5 whole cherry tomatoes and 5 small cubes of mozzarella that looked like it had sat out all day long (rubbery). They were generous with the chicken but overall I was extremely confused on how the salad was priced at $18 before adding chicken. Ridiculous and poorly described. Otherwise good, but I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend or stop by.

Yelp
The carbonara is legit! Fun drinks on the menu also. I took my daughter out there when visiting her in Columbus. Service was prompt and friendly, food was outstanding.

Yelp
Great service with an even better Happy Hour! Half off shareables and pizza. Only complaint is that it's select wines. Our waiter encouraged us to get another drink before happy hour ended but our drinks then didn't qualify :(. Cool aesthetic and delicious food.
google avatar

Haylee G.

Yelp
Honestly one of the best pizzas I've had! Service was great as well. Only complaint would be the tiny table we got sat at.

Yelp
Allow me to rave about the 4:00 - 6:30 happy hour at Rossi! 1/2 off their snack menu and meatballs, and those are some good meatballs! The marinara sauce in which they're smothered are terrific. On the snack menu, the bread service is soft, tasty and served with sea salt tinged butter that makes the dish noteworthy. I tried the giardiniera which featured larger than expected pickled vegetables which were a fine balance to the bread and meatballs. Drink-wise, the happy hour menu mostly features discounted wine pours, but I opted to go with a $4 draft which left me with no regrets. Though I was getting full, I split the Pasta Rossi with my wife. The kitchen was nice enough to divide their signature entree into two small plates for us which was emblematic of the great service there. We wanted the tiramisu for dessert, but it wasn't available on the day we visited. We settled for a tasty limoncello cake which they comped for us. They decor is fancy in an elevated-but-not-snooty way. I really have no complaints about the experience. Thank you for the fun happy hour Rossi!

Yelp
The Rossi burger and truffle fries are delicious! I love eating at this place! Great food, amazing chefs, awesome service!

Yelp
Thank you Shiloh! So informative friendly and welcoming. Sat at the bar and everything coming out of the kitchen looks fresh and amazing. Found a bar seat on Friday night and glad we came. Happy hour until 6:30! We will be back. Ps great 90's playlist

Yelp
The atmosphere is so warm and cozy, the service was super friendly, and the food was killer! We got the lasagna and the pasta Rossi, and both were so good that we cleared our plates. I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
We have been trying to get to the Rossi for sometime . Finally made it and we were not disappointed! We also very surprised to find that our reservation was so early we could take advantage of happy hour drinks and half price appetizers! Between the three of us, we started with Brussels, fried ravioli and bread service. We do not often rave about restaurant bread, however, this bread was amazing. Fluffy, crusty, and perfectly balance with the creamy butter it came with. Apps were great! As for mains, two of us had Pasta Rossi along with one lasagna. Every one of us enjoyed our dinner. Delicious. A small imperfection about this restaurant is that there is no bar to have a drink at or wait. The bar is usurped by seating reserved for eating patrons. Our table wasn't quite ready when we arrived for our reservation. Instead of being able to wait at the bar we walked to another bar within a close distance, but it would've been nice to just have stayed in one spot . Food is delicious, service was spot on and the vibe was great.

Yelp
The best spot in the Short North. Has a 1920s vibe with good food and a great staff. Don't miss this place.
google avatar

Yelp
The food and services were great. We ordered chicken parmesan and pasta rossi. All great but unfortunately me and friend got food poisoning from here. Would recommend going there and eating anything without meat.
google avatar

Kathy N.

Yelp
I ordered The Rossi to-go on a Saturday evening. Caesar salad was delicious. I also ordered the carbonara pasta. The egg came on the side - which I thought was strange. I ended up just eating the pasta without the egg, therefore it tasted more like an Alfredo. Really wish the egg was already mixed in, however everything was still tasty. Can't wait to go in person next time!

Yelp
Been on our radar for years but we just never made it. This time we had a special event and made a reservation. Showed up early and they were able to get us in. Great location, good people watching. Street parking and lots nearby- and we went on Sunday, which turned out to be free parking. Classy inside. Comfy seating. Good service, a bit slow but they were shortstaffed, and still made sure to check on us for refills, etc. We got the brussels sprouts to share. Very good, but the top layer was over-charred, so a few were inedible. Very tasty otherwise. Sweetie got a mushroom pizza and liked it, I got the pasta rossi and liked it. Loved? Not quite, but both were pretty good. Plenty of interesting stuff on the menu, and good enough that we'll be back, just now "wowed" as I'd hoped to be.

Yelp
Last night my friend and I were headed for dinner in the Short North and changed our plans when we got downtown. We hit The Google to chose a different venue and The Rossi was closest to our original destination and sounded good, so off we went! I can say I am quite pleased with our choice! I didn't realize how awesome the happy hour and specials here are! Wednesdays are Wine Wednesday - half off bottles under $75. We couldn't decide on a wine, so we stuck with cocktails. Honestly, I might check on their recorking policy and just get a bottle next time, though the cocktails were delicious, the deal was pretty great. I had the Violette Revolver with creme de violette, gin, lemon and some other goodies. This cocktail was very light and had a slightly sweet, fruity taste. It did not really taste like an adult beverage, just good. Because we hadn't really looked at the menu in advance, I didn't have anything in mind. The Happy Hour specials looked great, so we just chose some appetizers for the table. All of the portions were incredibly generous for both appetizers and HH, so we left full and happy. Mussels - PEI mussels in a white wine/garlic/tomato sauce that we scooped up with the bread chunks and some of our fries. They were so good! Calamari - this one wasn't on the HH menu, but we got it anyway. The squid wasn't overly breaded and was served over greens with a tangy sauce. I liked the preparation in that you didn't dip your calamari into a cup of sauce, but it was drizzled over the greens and it all went really well together! Margarita pizza - the pizza was $7 on HH, so awesome price for a 12 inch (I think) fired pizza with plenty of mozzarella and fresh tomato sauce. I'd highly recommend! fries - we ordered a side of fries, which wasn't listed on any of their menus, but I wanted some and they do have them! The Rossi actually offered 3-4 different kinds of fries. We went with the truffle fries with a tasty garlic aioli. Again, great portion size, and they went well with the rest of our selection. Brussels sprouts - These guys came out in a little iron skillet and have sauteed onions and a creamy sauce. Yum! The Rossi fills up during Happy Hour, particularly for the Wine special, so I'd for sure recommend a reservation. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Our non-planning selves got a high two top that we filled up pretty quickly with our appetizer extravaganza. When we got there, it was pretty quiet, but by the time we left, all of the tables were full and it was buzzy and fun. I can now see that they also have weekend brunch, and that is on my list!
google avatar

Rini P.

Yelp
I had to check this place out during restaurant week. Upon entering, you are greeted by ambulance with multiple gorgeous light fixtures. The waiters are attentive and got us seated immediately. I started off with a mojito which was crisp and delicious. Since we did the restaurant week menu, there were a few options to pick from. I started off with a salad with blue cheese dressing (ate it too fast, unfortunately ot pictured). For my entrée I got the mushroom manicotti, and for dessert the tiramisu. Overall would recommend if you in the mood to try a new Italian place!
google avatar

Yelp
Enjoyed a fabulous dinner during happy hour at Rossi Bar and Kitchen! I highly recommend making reservations. They had a wonderful happy hour menu, though the highlight of the meal was the outstanding lamb lollipops. Don't miss these! We also shared the chicken Parmesan, and while the chicken was not necessarily out of this world, it was the perfect pairing to the perfectly cooked pasta and amazingly light red sauce. Will definitely return! Also, kudos to management who was out on the floor waiting tables, hosting and bartending as needed!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I stopped by the Rossi for a happy hour bite (4-6:30, weekdays). They offer steep discounts on alcohol and appetizers. We split a margarita pizza and I tried the meatballs. The pizza was just okay. The crust didn't taste particularly fresh or special and the cheese and sauce were average. The same thing was true for the meatballs - the dish was presented nicely, but the meatballs and sauce were basic and bland. My boyfriend had the mussels ($7) and enjoyed his dish. The serving of mussels was rather generous for an inexpensive appetizer. Service was friendly and prices were reasonable.
google avatar

Jenny Z.

Yelp
Idk what I was thinking at the time hahaha... the pasta rossi is literally one of my favorite pasta dishes? Maybe a highly disturbed part of me did not want a creamy pasta sauce at the time. Anyway I've ordered it several times since then. We've consistently enjoyed our overall experience and food at Rossi. Fave apps are calamari, mussels and brussels. Absolutely loved the mushroom pizza. You really can't go wrong with any of the pizzas though.
google avatar

Remi W.

Yelp
Nothing bad happened, just wasn't too impressed by this place. We had the bread, meatball, the ricotta cheese ball, rossi pasta, and the steak tips w/ fries. Everything was "okay," with the exception for eh ricotta cheese ball which was not good. With so many restaurants in the area, will definitely try something else next time and honestly have no desire to come back here.

Yelp
Everything was delicious! It's not just bread and butter- it's salty, savory, creamy deliciousness lol. Same with the Carbonara (which I have never had). Super rich and creamy and I wanted to finish it all but I couldn't! Service was great and the ambiance was kind of.. sensual so it would be great for a date night lol.
google avatar

Marsha M.

Yelp
Though I only sat at the bar, I had a palate cleanser of an experience that left me satisfied and intrigued. The music was medium energetic- enough to heighten your mood over conversation, a lovely pink drink, and a very well priced $14 margherita pizza. The bartender was attentive but also occupied- just right. The Rossi feels confident in itself, no pretension, and fun!
google avatar

Ann S.

Yelp
We had a lovely pizza Margherita at Rossi. On a Saturday night with no reservations, we managed to find seating for two at the bar after a short wait. While we waited for the pizza, we ordered marinated olives, a glass of wine and another drink that we were bummed turned out "not to be in stock yet" so substituted something else. Pizza arrived and was thin-crusted and tasty. The bar side of the restaurant was dark and cozy. I'd like to return another time to experience the dining area. Parking on High Street was difficult but we found a garage eventually.
google avatar

Talor B.

Yelp
Stopped in for brunch on a Saturday. Service was attentive and friendly. It never really got crowded so I'm assuming most people don't come there for brunch. Their mimosa deal is pretty great. Basically it's 5 mimosas for $15 but you pay $5, then $4 and so on. I ordered the ricotta toast for my main. Flavor was decent but I just felt a little disappointed overall for $13. Felt like something I could have made at home. The place is a little smaller than I would have imagined as well. Overall I'm not in a huge rush to come back.
google avatar

Jayme J.

Yelp
This was my first time back to The Rossi since the new ownership. I'm so sad to see the famous Caesar Salad isn't on the menu anymore. Brunch was good & the pizza was still delicious. I'll need to go back to try the dinner menu.

Yelp
An updated review a year later, but still 5 stars. This is one of the few places I would still consider a "hidden gem" in the overpopulated area of the Short North. Ugh, I just love the Rossi! I had previously only been to Rossi for happy hour (which, by the way, rocks), but today I came for restaurant week. The food was everything I hoped for and more. I had a Caesar salad, summer shrimp campanelle pasta, and tiramisu for dessert. Everything was above and beyond my expectations. I don't often order pasta when I dine out because I usually find it too heavy, but the shrimp campanelle was perfectly light and didn't leave me feeling icky. I had a hard time deciding between the flourless chocolate torte and the tiramisu for dessert, but ultimately had to go for tiramisu since it's my favorite dessert of all time. It was one of the better tiramisu's I have ever had, flavorful and boozy yet somehow managing to be fluffy at the same time. Bravo! Get yourself here for restaurant week, or really any time at all. When my friend and I arrived at 4:30 we were the only people in the entire restaurant, which is a stark contrast to many busy, overcrowded places in this area (which to be quite frank, are no where near as good as this). Love this place.

Yelp
The Rossi is an amazing Italian restaurant with a great low key atmosphere. Great modern music in the background and their food is to die for. I had the chicken Parmesan which was moist and the flavor was amazing. The sauce on the pasta tasted like it was originated from Italy. It's clear the chef makes it a point to perfect his dishes. My wife had the pasta Rossi with chicken and the sauce was to die for. The chicken was a little dry so maybe try the shrimp with the pasta. My daughter had the Ohio pepperoni pizza and let me tell you, it was a delicious pizza. The sauce, cheese and pepperoni were amazing and it's clear it was made with love. I would definitely recommend this location again and again.

Yelp
This was my first time at the Rossi. Me and Amir made reservations on open table here and went for our Friday night date night. For some reason our reservation did not go through which confused us at first but luckily there was just the perfect table open for the two of us. I enjoyed the overall feel of this place. The lights were dim and every table had an electric candle which made our date a little more romantic. On one side of the table was a booth and the other side was a chair which means you and your table are close to the people beside you. Usually this would bother me, but it was actually enough space to not overhear the people's conversation who are on either side of you. Let's get into the food so for starters we had the calamari which in my opinion was just ok, it was a little too spongy for my liking. For my main course I had the lamb lollipops I asked for them to be made medium, but they looked a little medium rare to me. This ended up being no issue for me because they tasted delicious. This appetizer was enough to fill me up which is why I knew just to make it my main course. Amir had the salmon, I tried a bite and thought it was good, nice and flaky. This place is a nice place to go for a date or even a classy drink at the bar.

Yelp
The parking in the short north is never my favorite. So when I ventured downtown for a different restaurant and that didn't work out. I was feeling a little annoyed. My friend and I decided to check google maps to see what else was nearby. We were both pretty hungry so we picked the nearest restaurant. Which happened to be the Rossi. Going in with that annoyed feeling it probably would have taken more to impress me than normal. Well thankfully Rossi Bar and Kitchen delivered. My friend and I were seated right away upon entering the restaurant (with no reservation.) The restaurant itself was very clean looking and had a slightly upscale looking ambiance. The first thing we did, after being seated, was check to see if they had a happy hour. They did and there was a lot of tasty looking food options on it. We ended up ordering about 90 percent of the happy hour menus food options. We also ordered the calamari. Because, c'mon, if calamari is on the menu even if it's not happy hour you got to order it! Everything was delicious! My friend was somehow able to hold back eating as much as I did so she was able to take some home with her. I wish I could have her restraint so I could have enjoyed it again later! Next time I'm in the short north. The Rossi won't be a second choice option for sure!

Yelp
Ate here for date night, I am a sucker for any restaurant that has dark / dim lighting. The Rossi has just that, such a vibe and makes for the perfect intimate night. The service was a little slow, but I think there was only 2 servers at the most, so understandable. My salmon was a hair over cooked, but the pasta under it was amazing, my boyfriend really enjoyed his pasta as well. Love this place & recommend to others!

Yelp
The carbonara was probably the BEST I've ever had. Drinks were tasty as well. Service was top notch and I can't wait to come back to try more menu items.

Yelp
Back at it like we never left lol Me and my girl went with something a little simple this time around but it definitely didn't taste simple the Pizza and Burger was AMAZINGGGGGG it had a slight sweet taste to the Pizza I think they add honey to it. I never had a pizza with a little sweet taste to it so it caught me off guard but that's why I should of read the menu. Regardless the food was all around great and service was great as well.
