The Rothschild Hotel - Tel Aviv's Finest, a Design Boutique Hotel Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel

"Located in an iconic building on trendy Rothschild Boulevard, The Rothschild Hotel - Tel Aviv's Finest offers modern rooms with espresso machine and free Wi-Fi. The famous Shenkin shopping street is a 2-minute walk away. Luxury rooms at the Rothschild all have contemporary furnishings and an eclectic style. They include a LED TV, a cordless phone, a minibar, and air-conditioning. Some rooms include a private balcony or terrace. The entire hotel was built to reduce the impact on the environment. This finely preserved building is definitely one of Tel Aviv's most famous, and most of the furniture has been designed and handmade by local craftsmen. Breakfast is available until midday. The restaurant serves meat, fish, vegetarian and vegan dishes, many of which 100% organic. The hotel is located on the middle at the junction between Tel Aviv's exclusive business district and its prestigious cultural area, surrounded by bars, restaurants and cafés. A limousine service is also available. Tel Aviv Promenade can be reached in a 20-minute walk. Parking and meeting rooms are available in a sister hotel, less than 5 minutes' walk away." - My Boutique Hotel (en)

This is my second time staying at the Rothschild in Tel Aviv. I highly recommend this boutique hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and well-equipped. And this is the best hotel breakfast I have ever had. Make sure to get a cappuccino. ||Also, it’s in a great neighborhood where you can just walk outside and enjoy the vibrant city. ||Thank you for another wonderful stay.

Overpriced and not the hotel that opened a few years ago. Breakfast wasn't any good at all. We took the best room in the hotel on the top floor, bed wasn't comfortable at all, in the room they had cheap coffee type. Nothing pampering at all. Don't think it's worth the price. Best thing there was location and parking (which is very problems for large cars)

The hotel has become terrible. I used to stay at this hotel once or twice a year for many years. This was my last time. What used to be a five-star hotel has now dropped to the level of a hostel. The staff are completely unprofessional. They can’t help with any issue that comes up during the stay. The communication feels like a student dormitory. The air conditioner blows directly on the head, and it can’t be adjusted up or down, even though the function exists. In the morning I woke up with a sore throat. The staff couldn’t do anything about it. Even worse, the daytime employee lied to me, saying “I reduced the power, now everything will be fine.” This was simply not true, because she didn’t do anything, and her colleague at night confirmed they don’t even have that function. Sleeping without the AC is impossible - it’s extremely stuffy. You can’t open the windows either, because Rothschild Boulevard is right outside and it’s very noisy. A price of almost $300-400$ per night is not justified in any way

Pretty good overall. If you have anything larger than a compact car, you won’t be able to use the free parking. Also, despite what it says here, breakfast isn’t always included in the price. The area is really good.

The Rothschild Hotel boasts one undeniable strength — its location. Nestled on one of Tel Aviv’s most iconic boulevards, it offers easy access to the city’s energy, charm, and cultural pulse. Unfortunately, the service and room experience didn’t quite match the elegance the address suggests. While the overall stay was okay, a few details stood out in ways they shouldn’t have. The room was missing basics like a hairdryer, and small touches — such as fresh cups for water and properly cleared cutlery — were overlooked. The layout itself felt awkward, with functionality taking a backseat. Service-wise, the team was friendly but noticeably inexperienced. Hospitality at this level requires a bit more refinement and awareness. Some staff seemed unsure or untrained, which was surprising for a hotel with such a premium location and reputation. In short: the Rothschild Hotel shines in location, but lags in execution. With more attention to detail and stronger hospitality training, it could truly live up to its potential.

Not clean, loud rooms. The hotel is nicely designed, but the stay was not comfortable. The bed was not terrific. The staff was efficient but nothing more.

Google
Downmarket, poorly maintained hotel with noisy and dirty rooms. The property is understaffed, the service is rude and unprofessional. Terrible value for money. We left halfway through our stay—this place is simply not suitable if you’re used to even basic standards abroad. Avoid and book elsewhere.

Unheard-of customer service. They advertised private parking but couldn’t accommodate it, then asked us to leave and cancel. A downmarket hotel—be warned. On top of the terrible experience in check in they provided extremely small room. overpriced low quality - last time
