5 foodie spots chef Pamelia Chia is dying to visit when she's back in Singapore - SilverKris

"A late-night prata spot on a popular supper stretch, valued for spontaneous, convivial meals after hours; it pairs well with a local supper culture of prata, mee pok and Milo dinosaur moments, and contributes to a lively strip that also offers fishball noodles, ice cream, zi char and tau huay well into the night." - Alexandra Karplus

consistently good food here with good portion size! i personally love the nasi and mee goreng with mutton masala, and always ask for extra spicy. their mutton is tender and very tasty! overall, one of the best late night supper places around!

This is not the usual kind of Prata that I usually like. It seems a bit more doughy than the flaky kind. It’s very crispy. It’s very nice if you like crispy Prata, but I feel it’s a little bit too doughy. Don’t know exactly how to express it on explain it, but it’s just different from those other kind But the curry mutton is very good. Oh the bee Hoon goreng is very good and tasty. Nice that it’s also a good portion

Definitely loved the prata! Ordered the plain prata that came with a curry sauce. The texture was amazing. Light and crunchy. It's something that I'll dream about. Also got the chicken curry and an egg prata too. All were good. Will come back for more!

One of my favourite haunts for supper bcos it opens till late with reasonably priced yummy food. Love the local vibes it’s always bustling but not rowdy unpleasant. It’s lovely to see people from all walks of life there- whether it’s enjoying late night supper with kakis, late dinner after work, kopi-la teh session, dinner after gym/workout, locals taking their foreign friends to have some prata etc. I love it! Food is decent- the mutton beehoon goreng took me by surprise. It was so delicious, beehoon so moist and tasty. I was afraid the mutton would be dry and hard but it wasn’t. I wasn’t even that hungry yet I finished it all. Mutton tulang soup was rich and comforting to the tummy. Bit too much mutton in this meal but really, who cares. It was delicious, didn’t cost us an arm or a leg. Staff is always efficient and ready to clean the tables, take the order, serve or help. Only thing is it’s hard to find parking at night. Limited spots, need to search hard within the private estate.

The tulang soup had too strong of star anise(cloves) inside, which is overwhelming.(i am not a fan of star anise , too much though) I wanted VERY SPICY mutton meehoon goreng with potato, not spicy as well… The cheese onion egg prata was alright.. curry was good with it. Mutton fried rice was ok, but my friend did not finish it, as well as his sausage cheese prata too. Maggie goreng was too soggy, overcooked. Teh halia wasnt sweet enough, probably many ppl like it less sweet but i asked for normal “indian” kind of sweet..

Has always been my favourite supper or breakfast spot. Always serving fresh food due to high demand. Kambing soup and their prata is my too favourite.

Ordered a few dishes here and honestly, not a single one was even decent. Every bite was disappointing – bland, poorly cooked, and completely lacking in flavor. I honestly don’t understand how this place has any popularity at all. It’s overrated beyond belief. This has to be one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had, with every single dish falling flat.

Prata was dry and crispy but lacks flavour and freshness. Honey Chicken briyani was edible but chicken seems not freshly cooked and its dry and hard to chew. Staff was very unhappy after given feedback and questioned why we complain with a fierce response. Dont really understand the crowd. Perhaps this place sells well because they used to serve delicious food for a long time in the past.
