As a family of 4 adults and 1 toddler, we went on a Sunday for the carvery. This place was recommended to us as we would occasionally go out on a Sunday, it's a very popular place alright but the staff were all first class absolutely no complaints. The selection of food was very impressive and everything was top class cooked perfectly you chose your starter and dessert and select whatever meat you want for your main with plenty of roasties etc the price was £30 per head and worth every penny definitely go you won't be disappointed.

Called today with Mum and Dad for lunch. Two of us had the carvery, and two of us ate from the menu. Im GF and ate from the carvery. The food was delicious and the staff were extremely well organised. I was delighted to see so many gf options, especially the desserts.|Im used to having a very restricted gf dessert choice when eating out . Having so many gf options was a treat.I settled on the gf jam and coconut sponge and custard. It was amazing. Ill be sharing this with my fb gf groups. Thank you , I'll definitely be back.

Review is for lunch as a non resident. The carvery was absolutely superb with a generous portion of tender meat. Service from the staff also first class. Booking strongly recommended.

My girlfriend and I recently enjoyed the Sunday Carvery at the Royal Court Hotel and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish.||We were lucky enough to be seated at Table 21 in the Dunluce Suite, right by the window, offering a breathtaking view overlooking Royal Portrush Golf Club—host of this year’s Open Championship—and the stunning North Coast beach with the Atlantic Ocean gently rolling in. It truly set the scene for a romantic Sunday afternoon.||The staff were outstanding—a perfect blend of experience and youthful energy. A few weeks ago, I had dined elsewhere on the North Coast and was left disappointed by poor customer service, but the Royal Court couldn't have been more different. The young staff here were smartly dressed, attentive, and hard-working, quickly turning over tables and maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere throughout the meal.||The carvery itself was excellent, with a great selection of starters, mains, and desserts. The carvery servers were especially helpful and friendly, making sure everything was just right and adding a personal touch that elevated the whole experience. The quality and presentation of the food were superb, and the flavours did not disappoint.||To top it all off, the bar staff even made my girlfriend’s favourite cocktail, which made her day.||Whether you're planning a special occasion or just a romantic Sunday dinner for two, the Royal Court Hotel offers exceptional value for money, excellent service, and a setting that's hard to beat. We'll definitely be back!

Visited here yesterday and ordered the chicken goujans, which was £18 and no side was included which is absolutely ridiculous!! The goujans came on a plate, 5 goujans and a wee small ramekin of garlic mayo, no garnish or anything!! The price of a side to add on is £4, so in total I paid £22 for a Goujan and Chip meal... but my husband got fish and chips, and the chips were included, so it baffles me that the chips werent included with the goujans..can you explain how yous can justify your costumers to pay this?? |Service was good otherwise, but |I think managment need to sit down and revise their menu and prices because the prices are absolutely ridiculous.

Visited with friends in June. Very expensive for certain meals. One of my friends ordered Chicken Goujons with a side order of chips. When the meal came that's all that was on the plate - chicken Goujons! No salad, no veg - a basket of chips came as a side order for £4 extra. Side orders small for the price - and staff didn't get mine right (nor did they give time to change it when it was set down!) The carvery was good. However the whole meal overall was disappointing. And expensive for what we got - one carvery (single course), two chicken meals with side orders at £4 each, two desserts, water - no coffee or drinks - over £30 each. Would not encourage me to return.

We pre-booked Sunday carvery lunch here on 3rd August. We requested a table by window, we were a row in but it was fine. As a vegetarian I was at least expecting fish on the set menu. However I was disappointed that my only choice veg lasagne. It was a lukewarm, dry, no meat, but tomato and something presentation and had no resemblance to what it should look or taste like. I was told to serve myself and was unable to finish it due to it being tastless and as i became unwell. I asked at reception for some assistance and got a curt reply and no help. The meal was £30 which in my view warranted a much wider vegetarian choice for a growing vegetarian population certainly not lasagne. Please do better. The young staff were polite during table service.

I ate here twice this week. I don't think I'll be back. We were there for food both times and it was just okay- mediocre at best. I think the days of charging for a gluten free burger but providing no bun are almost gone thankfully though this type of practice remains here on most gf products. The garlic chips were a bit undercooked, not amazing flavour at all- I didn't even bother finishing them as I just got bored eating them- they weren't worth the calories.. My burger meat was tough- like a reheated burger the day after a BBQ. The carvery was ok. Again nothing I can't do better at home- plain veg, unremarkable roasties. The roast beef was stand out good though. My recommendation: find somewhere else or just fill up here on average food.

Yelp
Yelp 100 Challenge 2018 - #100/100 Having had the typical Irish breakfast of eggs, ham, sausage, beans and scones at the hotel in Dublin, we stopped by here for coffee and dessert at their restaurant so this is a review of our visit there. The view was truly awesome and breathtaking. It's a pity it was raining hard that I wasn't able to snap a few pics. Hopefully we'll come back next time. Service was warm and friendly, such a welcome from the cold and rain outside. My sister and I ordered the sticky toffee pudding and my friends got the banoffee and tiramisu. The sticky toffee pudding was a perfect pair to the bold and hot coffee. My sweet tooth was utterly appeased.

Yelp
This is one of my favourite hotels, particularly in the winter when all the fire places have huge roaring fires. There's a very homely welcoming feeling going on and the interior is traditional three star hotel style and standard - lots of wood panelling and flowery carpets. The rooms are equally traditional - don't expect luxury - but the rates are reasonable and if you get a room on the coast side of the hotel, the views across the sea are downright breathtaking. The last time we stayed we had 1 of the 4 the suite which sounds much grander than it was. There was a sitting area though and views out over the Atlantic which was enough in itself. The food in the Royal Court is also traditional and homely - baked ham and peaches and pavlova etc - but it is well cooked and very tasty, especially if you've been for a walk along the shore beforehand. The Royal Court is definitely the kind of place you go to for a cosy winter weekend spent reading the papers and taking a few walks rather than a weekend of luxury and pampering. It's child friendly and comfortable and you can dress casually. The kind of place where you can recharge your batteries without spending a fortune.

Yelp
Only came for the hotel's lunch service, so no comments on the actual hotel itself. Anyway, we were served Irish beef with potatoes, carrots and cabbage (as well as some sort of bread thingy which was to die for). Dessert consisted of a far to sweet meringue of some sort which was superb nonetheless. Service was fast and efficient and very friendly. If I wasn't on such a time crunch, I would have liked to have had the chance to stay in this hotel...
