When spring hits Stockholm the stairs to ”Dramaten” tend to be crowded with people enjoying the sun while having their take away lunch or coffee. What an incredible building! Worth visiting just for that, but watching a performance is a bigger experience. We saw Madame Bovary, and it was amazing!!!

Great place for theatre and music. Smack in the centre of Stockholm this historical place is a must for those interested in culture. Book tickets well in advance, the amounts of seats is limited and they sell out quickly

We went on a guided tour in the Royal Dramatic Theater and it was fantastic. Learned some really interesting pieces of its history, saw some of the nicest and oldest costumes produced there, walked up and down on the back stage, learned a lot about its architecture and founding history. I loved it, and highly recommend for anyone who likes theaters and history.

One of the most classic building in Stockholm. Spectacular Swedish Teatro architecture style. We did not have the chance to visit the Theatre itself due to the limited time we had in Stockholm. Few images of the Surrounding are included.

This is a truly impressive and elegant building. Its grand architecture and ornate detailing immediately catch your eye, making it one of the most beautiful landmarks in the city. Even if you don’t step inside, the exterior alone is worth admiring, stately, historic, and rich with character. A standout piece of Stockholm’s cultural and architectural charm.

'The Royal Dramatic Theatre is Sweden's national stage for "spoken drama", founded in 1788. Around one thousand shows are put on annually on the theatre's five running stages.' However, I found the location calm and lovely, the stages are also awesome.

Royal Dramatic Theatre is located at Nybroplan. It's a beautiful Art Nouveau architecture style building built by architect Fredrik Lilljekvist. Famous actress Ingrid Bergman known from Casablanca movie learned acting in "Dramatens elevskola" theatre's acting school. We unfortunately couldn't see a play and we hope next time when we visit Stockholm to stop by.
