A Culinary Experience to Remember
From the moment we stepped into Walter's Dining Hall, we knew we were in for something special. As a group of eight, including vegetarians, we were eager to sample a variety of dishes—and what an incredible feast it turned out to be!
The experience was made even more memorable when the head chef personally came out to talk us through the menu. His passion for the food was evident, and after hearing his recommendations, we decided to go with the ‘Feed Me’ option, allowing the chef to curate a selection of the best dishes for us. This turned out to be the perfect choice, as every plate that arrived at our table was nothing short of outstanding.
We started with the Kingfish Sashimi with salmon pearls, a dish as stunning as it was delicious. The freshness of the kingfish, paired with the delicate pop of the salmon pearls, made for a perfect bite every time. The Green Mango and Papaya Salad was a refreshing contrast, with just the right balance of tangy, sweet, and crunchy elements.
The Salt and Szechuan Pepper Calamari was another standout—light, crispy, and seasoned to perfection with just the right amount of heat. Then came the Crispy Japanese Eggplant, which was a revelation. Even those who claimed they weren’t eggplant fans found themselves going back for more.
For mains, the Mongolian Wagyu Beef was simply melt-in-your-mouth, with deep, rich flavors that left everyone raving. The Tokyo Street Fries—a fun, umami-packed twist on classic fries—disappeared from the table in record time.
The restaurant also catered beautifully to our vegetarian diners, ensuring they had just as many exciting flavors to enjoy. Every dish was beautifully presented, packed with bold, fresh flavors, and left us wanting more.
Just when we thought the meal couldn't get any better, we finished with a Lime Crème Brûlée—the perfect balance of creamy indulgence and citrusy brightness, with a flawlessly crisp caramelized top.
The service was warm and attentive, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. Not only did every single person at the table love their meal, but we all agreed—we’ll definitely be returning!
