The Royal Park Canvas - Ginza 8 (Tokyo, Tokyo) 2 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"The Royal Park Canvas, a handsome slate-colored tower set in the dynamic environs of the center-city shopping district of Ginza, presents itself as more than a boutique hotel: an artistic medium, inspiring guests to paint the picture of omotenashi. Rooms are clean-lined and modern, yet breathe with warm wooden accents that encourage quiet amidst the bustle. Alongside a lounge and a fitness center, the Canvas also boasts a kitchen as a quirky gathering spot, as well as a music library, complete with a vinyl collection and plenty of headphones. The Opus restaurant includes a rooftop terrace, and serves a menu of grilled seafood with occasional French accents." - Tablet Hotels

Looking for an accomodation in GINZA can be quite challenging to balance between, room size, comfort, location and price! This hotel was what we found to be the best to maximise all aspects without compromising on the price! The staff are sweet, and very welcoming! And can we speak about this lovely touch of hand written and decorated note we had when we arrived to our room? We went all over Japan, 6 different hotels, both 5 stars ultra luxury and 4 stars. Yet this was the most personal hotel ever! Thank you for having us, we will be back when in Tokyo!

The room size is decent considering being in Japan. The location of the hotel is amazing though. There’s a supermarket nearby and lots of food options as well. Services wise is acceptable - very minimal. They have a self served amenities station in the lobby. The highlight was the lounge area. We travelled with seniors, so we had to order to takeout on couple of the nights and we dined in the lounge area where there’s a microwave and ice station for guests to use. They have a venting machine on the second floor, but coins only or you’ll have to use the app (local users can register for the app). There’s also quite a few convenience stores in close proximity.

Forgot to leave a review back in 2023, but will list down what i think of the place. I remember the rooms being spacious enough. The beds weren’t bad (cannot stand hard mattresses). One thing that was annoying is taking an elevator just to go to the main area of check in. Then take another elevator to go to your floor. The area where you check in and grab amenities gets VERY noisy and packed with people (they have weird nights that have idk it becomes a party area? Which is very annoying to navigate when all you wanna do is go back to your room and sleep). Thats one part i really did not enjoy staying there. The restaurant at the lowest floor doesn’t have bad food—just as usual, pricey. The rooms themselves were nice. I did not check every nook and cranny for cleanliness, but i remember it being nice. There is a convenience store right in front of the hotel building. Though there are nights people outside are drunk and noisy.

This was easily our favourite hotel of our whole Japan trip. Tokyo wasn’t on our itinerary but due to a missed connecting flight we found ourselves here for a couple days so we booked this at the airport very last minute. It wasn’t cheap but it was worth it, maybe there are deals to be had if planning in advance. The staff here were so friendly and thoughtful. Since we didn’t plan on staying in Tokyo we had no itinerary or plans and they helped us come up with amazing things to do that you didn’t need to reserve well in advance. Not only that, but they followed up with us to see if we enjoyed their recommendation, truly awesome people here. The room was a little small but I think that’s normal in Japan, but the bathroom and shower were amazing. I never found a shower as good as this the rest of my trip. The location was amazing as well, as it’s kind of in the middle of two train stations so depending on which line you need it’s a very short walk. There is tons of shopping and restaurant options within steps of the hotel, and the fish market is only a short walk away as well. Really loved our time staying here and would gladly come back if we are in Tokyo again. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in a great location.

I loved the service. The staff were very attentive and helpful. In my experience, they were honest and helped me a lot to make my stay perfect. The rooms were super clean, the food was excellent. I highly recommend their breakfast buffet. The location is great. I would always come back. 10/10. Greetings from Mexico.

We had book ended our time in Japan with two reservations here and ended up cancelling the second one. The rooms were spacious, that’s about where the positives end. The staff were so standoffish. No offer to help with luggage, no hello or good evening throughout the day. The hotel lobby is a weird vibe at all times of day, and on the bottom floor I was told I couldn’t come in because there was a private event on and I had to explain I was staying in the hotel. Overall just wouldn’t stay again, felt more like a backpackers hostel.

This was my third stay at this property in a slightly larger room which included a big soaking tub. You can't beat the location to so much shopping and great restaurants. The staff is friendly and helpful, too. Breakfast downstairs was delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Tokyo.

We had a lovely time at The Royal Park Canvas Ginza 8. It had great location and the room was a good size, more than enough for our family of 3. Staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. Thank you for the warm hospitality.
