📍Staff was courteous, bar was very chill and relaxing with great views of the tower. 📍Check in and out was very easy. 📍Restaurant on first floor had very little offerings and the offerings they did have were nothing to rave about. 📍Room 706 was incredibly small for 2 adults and 1 child. Literally only one person could walk in front of the beds at a time. 📍Just one 4ft pipe along the small hallway to hang maybe 5pcs of garments. 📍Had to use the sitting area for luggage storage and to access your clothes, zero drawers 📍Bathroom/shower was very spacious 📍The dust in the room was incredible, I had to dust off my personal affects everyday because there was dust accumulation every time we came back to the room. 📍I investigated the dust situation and discovered a thick layer of dust on the AC vent. I asked the front desk to clean it and they did. I also asked for a air cleaner but they said I have to rent it 🤦🏽‍♂️ the rooms dusty condition should not require me to rent a device to clean the air when it is this bad. Every day me and my son woke up we were super congested and had lots of flem....after we left the room we started clearing up and did not feel suck but as soon as we came back to the hotel the sore throat and congestion came back..this happened throuought our 7 day stay. NOTE: If you have allergies to dust I highly recommend to go somewhere else as it seems their AC needs a professional foam cleaning to remove all the build up of allergens in their internal ducting. Cleaning the filter only helped mildly. P.S. Even if we did rent the air cleaner I dont think it would physically fit in the small room or allow for people to move around.

A charming hotel located within walking distance to the TV tower. Our room came with no TV but a vinyl record player. Each room had its own vinyl and you’re able to go to the lobby floor’s vinyl library to borrow more during your stay. The bathroom had all the usual amenities including a bath tub which we made ample use of to recover from our travel fatigue. There is a top balcony floor that you could get to via the elevator which gives you a great view over the park including the TV tower. It is also super convenient being right near some food and shopping and entrance to the underground tunnels.

We love traveling to Japan to experience the culture and food. It is always a bonus traveling here because of the top tier service you receive at hotels, shops, and restaurant. While staying at The Royal Park Canvas, it was bit different compared to other hotels in Japan. When we arrived, there was no hotel staff to greet you or guide you to the check-in area. After finding the check-in area, there was staff at the counter who were heavily focused on their computers. The staff felt a bit cold and almost inconvenienced by our request to check-in. The room was small compared to rooms of similar prices at other hotels and the mattresses are particularly dense/hard. We called the front desk early in the morning to ask for a reservation for the rooftop restaurant later that evening, however they said it was not possible (despite numerous empty tables we saw later). We were understanding of the “short notice” and asked if they had any local dining recommendations. The staff replied with a stern “no” and proceeded to hang up. Overall, the location is incredible and Sapporo is a fantastic city to explore, so spending time at the hotel was limited. The service was atypical compared to the standards we’ve experienced in other Japanese hotels and cities. I would recommend staying here if you are looking for a room to store your belongings and sleep but not to spend time at the hotel to eat, relax, etc.

Beautiful hotel right in front of the Sapporo TV Tower. Extremely accessible to places such as Susukino, Sapporo Factory, Parco, Sapporo station, the clock tower and just about anywhere else that you want to go from there. The staff are extremely kind and friendly. The hotel also doesn't stinge on things like cleaning duties, amenities etc. when requested and they have a cool thing where they provide you with a record player in your room with access to the record library for you to just chill in your own room as you want and listen to some jazz music if that's your vibe. Friday and Saturday nights, a DJ plays some great beats in the lounge while there's a rooftop that provides amazing views at any time of day. 10/10 would come back again.

Very clean and well designed hotel. Nice and modern furnishings. Great location. We had the Saporro Tower out our window. No TVnin the rooms but a record player. As a non Japanese tourist the no TV didn’t matter as I try not to watch the news which is usually the only thing in English. No complaints. Friendly staff.

Use underground exit #23, hotel is right at the exit. Very charming hotel, cute little details in the room. We booked Superior twin room for 3 people (1 child), and there is an extra bed for the child. Nice view in the room with TV Tower and park. Very convenient location, lots of shops and restaurants around. Staff are friendly. No TV and coffee in the room.

Clean, quiet, amazing shower, lovely vibe of Odori Park and GREAT location. Odori Station, which connects to the Toho line, Namboku line and Tozai line (which also connects to the New Chitose Airport rapid line) are less than a block away. It is also < 15 minutes walk to some of the city's best shopping and eating, including Nijo fish market for the incredibly fresh seafood and Soup Curry GARAKU/Teasure for one of Sapporo's signature dishes. For the jetlagged travelers, there are also many tasty 24-hours restaurants, or ones that are open til dawn, nearby. 4.2 stars Sapporo miso ramen, at a charming 10 seats chef's counter, at 5:00 a.m., anyone? Afterwards, you can crawl back to the comfy bed and sleep like a baby with a full belly.

Initially given a room next to my traveling companions' rooms but it had a strange odor and so I went back to the lobby to inform them. They kindly apologized and provided me a different room just a few doors away. It felt like an upgrade since I had few view of the Clock Tower and there was a bathtub. The breakfast was very filling and delicious. The location of this hotel is helpful and the area is nice and quiet, away from the noise of nightlife which I appreciated. Amenities were avaliable in lobby such as hair tie, toothbrush, face wash, etc. I recommend this hotel for it's location, price, and good service.
