We really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Purnama Hotel, the staff was very attentive and welcoming. Our room with the private swimming pool was very spacious, it was great to have room service twice a day. The food was delicious, especially the breakfast, there is a large choice of things to chose from and they were all very tasty. The dinner's were pleasant as well, it was nice to have live music every night to accompany the food, it creates a really romantic atmosphere. Highly recommended for a romantic trip or a holiday getaway in a quiet and relaxing atmosphere.

The Royal Purnama is an absolutely stunning resort that offers a peaceful, luxurious escape away from the typical tourist crowds of Bali. Nestled along the serene black sand beach, the property is breathtaking — blending traditional Balinese architecture with modern elegance. We stayed in one of their private pool villas, and it was nothing short of magical. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and impeccably clean. Every little detail — from the handcrafted furniture to the open-air bathrooms — added to the charm. Waking up to ocean views and the sounds of nature was an experience in itself. The service is outstanding. The staff is warm, professional, and genuinely eager to make your stay special. From arranging private dining to spa bookings, they go above and beyond with a smile. The spa treatments are a must-try — incredibly relaxing, with a serene ambiance and skilled therapists. The on-site restaurant, Standing Stones, serves delicious food with a view that’s hard to beat. The breakfast spread is generous and the dinner menu offers a great mix of local and international dishes, all beautifully presented. If you’re looking for a romantic getaway or simply want to unwind in a quiet, luxurious setting, The Royal Purnama is perfect. It offers an intimate, boutique experience that’s both culturally rich and incredibly rejuvenating. I left feeling refreshed, pampered, and already planning my next visit.

We had an absolutely amazing time during our stay at this hotel. The villa with a private pool was incredible — it offered so much privacy and felt like a true oasis. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the villa was cleaned multiple times a day, which kept everything spotless.||What really stood out was the staff. Everyone was genuinely friendly and welcoming, addressing us by our first names. Their warm smiles and personal attention made us feel truly taken care of.||The food was another highlight — delicious and very diverse, with something for everyone.||We also loved that the hotel gives you access to the Moonstone beach club. It’s the perfect spot to relax by the large pool and sip on cocktails!|| A perfect mix of luxury, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality to truly relax.

We had a wonderful stay at the Royal Purnama. The staff and facilities were incredible; excellent food, friendly staff and spacious rooms. It was unfortunately cut short by the devastating flooding in Bali and the whole hotel had to be evacuated along with a number of others. The staff were amazing during this while process at a time that had to be incredibly stressful and handled everything very well, staying calm, prioritising safety and communication and managing to rehouse what was a fully booked hotel. Our thoughts and wishes are with all members of staff at this establishment and we hope that you are able to get it back to its previous beauty.

Hotel Purnama in Gianyar is hands down one of the best stays I’ve had in Bali! 💫 From the moment I arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. The room? Gorgeous. Spacious, spotless, and that bathtub 🛀 massive, luxurious, and perfect for unwinding after a long day. Food service was top notch, with every dish arriving fresh and beautifully presented. And the sunset view? Absolutely stunning. I could’ve sat there for hours just soaking it all in. If you’re looking for a place that blends comfort, elegance, and heartfelt hospitality, Purnama is it. 🌺✨

The Royal Purnama has been the best experience we could have had. From check in to check out.|Our villa was beautiful and spacious. It is so private and quiet all around the resort. All around everything is really clean and looked after. |The staff is exceptional, always friendly and greeting you with a smile. They always took care about my husband’s allergies and even the head chef has checked in on. |Happy Hour was always a great start to a fantastic dinner. Make sure to go to the front bar as the staff member who is there most nights is making you the best cocktail. The dinner ambient is great as there is always some nice acoustic music or sometimes balinese dance and music. The food overall was great, we had an included half board which can be after a few days a bit underwhelming but you can change to their normal menu or one of their special dinners. |Overall it has been a great experience and we will definitely go back and enjoy some more quiet time. |The only thing is that you have really nothing around you and maybe the resort could adjust their shuttle service times to might just go to Sanur but not to be too set on just a one time shuttle available. We have stayed in other resorts which have offered some more time through out the day to the city close by. But it is nothing to much to worry about if you really just want some quite time as we wanted to and not go anywhere.

As the cost belies, this is a luxurious resort. The room was fantastic, especially as we chose a 1 br pool villa Jepun. The pool was much bigger than expected and totally private. ||Having visited Bali many times, the wonderful staff aside, you could be almost anywhere in the world as the property is quite isolated. Which is a pity. There is very limited daily shuttle to Sanur, which with traffic amounts to about a 2 hour visit. Rideshare is banned, so exploring beyond the small resort compound is extremely limited. There's little to do other than swim, rest or pay highly inflated prices for food, drink or the spa.

We stayed here in June for 10 nights. Wow! it was everything we had hoped for, a comfy bed, spacious room, and a private pool with a day bed. From the moment we arrived we felt the warmth of the wonderful staff, we arrived late evening and as we were been shown our room a lovely lady arrived with a plate of sandwiches for us. Just what we needed! The villa was fabulous and very true to the photos on their website. The pool was perfect although a little cold to get in to! Our room and pool were serviced twice a day and was always spotless. The tropical gardens along the paths were very pretty. The restaurant was excellent they catered perfectly for allergies and the food and service was outstanding. Every night there was some form of entertainment from singers to fire dancers. If you wanted a change of pace you were welcome to go to Moonstone Beach Club (free towels and day beds for guests) Great pools overlooking the ocean, live djs at times, bar and restaurant. We did go in for a look but our own pool and day bed was perfect for us. However the greatest part of our holiday was the warmth of the amazing staff. They made us feel at home in no time and we would like to say thank you to all of them for the most amazing holiday experience. We hope to get back there again.
