Even considering that it was the weekend, the waiting time was quite long.
Although we had already completed our online reservation, we had to wait more than 30 minutes before we could check in — and it wasn’t as if there were a lot of guests waiting ahead of us.
The most disappointing part was dinner at the restaurant.
We went in around 6 p.m., looked at the menu, and tried to order, but most of the menu items were unavailable.
Since our child was hungry, we ordered the three dishes that were still available.
The problem was that even after waiting for an hour, no food was served.
We asked if at least our child’s meal could come out first and why it was taking so long, but there was neither an explanation nor an apology.
Two of the dishes still hadn’t arrived even after an hour and a half, and by then our child was tired and starting to fuss.
Just as we decided to cancel the order and pay to leave, the food finally arrived.
I believe that hotel dining is more expensive than other restaurants because good service is part of what you pay for, but the staff’s attitude definitely needs improvement.
We were satisfied with the beautiful view and the well-prepared facilities, and our child really enjoyed the stay — but the staff’s customer service was a bit disappointing.
