I Recently wanted to check this place out and honestly, I wish I came here sooner. They have so many options that it was hard to choose just one thing. For drinks we ended up getting an iced ube latte and an iced Thai tea which both were really good. The Thai tea wasn't anything mind-blowing, but it was still flavorful and refreshing. The ube latte, was definitely better than most ube drinks I've had elsewhere. Just make sure to give it a good stir before sipping.
For food, we ordered the Chili Bomb Omurice, Buttermilk Pancakes with the ube option, and the Ultimate Smash Burger. The omurice had a nice kick. We asked for the sauce on the side just in case, and I'm glad we did. It was very flavorful, not too spicy, and complemented the dish perfectly. The steak was cooked a bit more than I prefer but still tasty and tender. The seasoned rice was definitely the highlight for me. Kind of reminded me of Filipino adobo rice.
The pancakes were amazing , fluffy, perfectly sweet, and surprisingly not overpowering. I kept wanting just one more bite. The smash burger was juicy, flavorful, and the melted cheese really tied everything together.
Overall, I'd come back. The service was friendly and attentive, the place was clean and aesthetic, and the food hit all the right notes. Definitely a Pleasant Hill gem worth revisiting.
