What a fantastic, picturesque Inn. It is absolutely worth the trek through the winding, narrow roads, getting stuck behind someone doing 30 in a 60, just to sit in the beer garden in the sun with great food and great scenery.
You have to order at the smallest bar ever inside the Inn (mind your head if you’re tall!), then they bring out the food to the beer garden and shout out your name. The steak & ale pie, ham, egg & chips and the sandwich were very good, generous portions and well-priced. The car park makes it hassle free to get here, the Inn is very popular with bikers too. Overall, a great experience, great food and bring your dog.
