Cool cocktails. Lucy was so welcoming and gave incredible service. Cocktails were brilliant and one of the best choices of rum on Bristol. Best place to be this quintero by the fire!

The Rummer is a fantastic spot with a cozy atmosphere and amazing cocktails. The staff are super friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. It’s the perfect place for a great evening, and I’ll definitely be back soon. Highly recommend!

Went into here with my fiance and two of our friends for a drink. Staff at the bar could not have cared any less about taking our order at the bar. Were rude, dismissive and took the piss out of one of our friends for asking where the toilet was. Dead atmosphere in the bar area and they kept turning the lights down. Could not recommend this place any less. To the staff working on the weekend of the 11th of Jan, you're a joke.

Went to the gin tasting which was fantastic. Had a really interesting and fun evening with the resident gin witch. She was very knowledgeable and answered all our silly questions. The gin itself was delicious. Would highly recommend the gin tasting experience!

Lovely Bristol bar with great service. We went there for a little Christmas gathering and we got to sit next to the magnificent fireplace, which was lovely. The service was great, the bar tenders are really lovely and the drinks were nice as well. Definitely recommend for a great Christmas outing.

I love this place! I have been here so many times during the almost 9 years I've lived in Bristol. I was so excited to bring my friends from Wales to this place as they all love Rum, however it was the first time the service was sub par. Yes I understand I brought about 11 people into the bar, and I tried to make it efficient for the servers by ordering only 2 drinks. But it felt like the one server was annoyed from the start of me asking about drinks. In all honesty I don't know why there seemed to be a problem and if they had said to us why they seemed annoyed I would have moved us on or corrected our actions. Regardless, I still love this place but won't be back if the same server is in there, and will wait for another server.

I visited the rummer on valentines night. What a great ambiance around the fireplace- perfect setting whilst sipping one of the many drinks on offer. We then proceeded to the dining room to eat our 5 course gin infused meals. The food was disappointing in general- tough jelly and panacota and harsh gin infused tastes. We still had a lovely night though.

We had a great evening with Kevay and got an exclusive insight into the gin distillery. Totally entertaining, professional and yet relaxed, we were able to try 6 different gins, each of which had its own flavor and demonstrated the diverse possibilities of “flavored vodka.”
