So, honestly I love the place but the food could be bigger portions. Got the Big D as a double and the Dodo but the double wasn’t as double at all 😅. They were good taste tho but not size wise. The inside looks very nice. 😊 Still recommending to go ❤️.

My favorite place in Oxford for a Burger! When I tell you the burgers are so damn good🫣They have multiple options for meat, veggie and vegan!!! I can highly recommend their Impossinle veggie burger, it’s like a better tasting Mcdonalds!!! The service is really quick too, and on weekdays from 12-3pm they do a £10 deal for burger and chips or pizza 😍 The drinks are quite expensive but it’s a nice pub so it’s to be expected. But do yourself a favor and get down here because the burgers are insane x

The food really went downhill in the last year. They used to have the best burger in town with a pink juicy patty. The management realised they could sell a very dry smash burger for half the price. You can feel the cost savings across the menu. This is no longer our local of choice.

Went there for a brunch. The food was amazing and really delicious while it wasn't expensive, really. Truly worths the price. We had 2 brunch meal deals and paid only 20 quids and had a wonderful time. The staff were hospitable and helpful as well.

Went with a table of 7. The food was delicious, especially the wood-fired pizza – if you're after a traditionally Italian pizza, this place is a must-try! We did have to wait an hour for our food, but the waiting staff were really apologetic and gave us free chips and drinks. It seems like we just caught them at a busy time. Can't praise the waiting and bar staff enough; we'll definitely be back!”

The food is good, but 5 stars honestly go to the team. The staff are *so* nice and accommodating - even when we’ve booked bigger tables and things have been slightly chaotic. They’re a great bunch!

Yelp
There was a running joke in our family for more than 6 years, that despite several visits and numerous walks-past, I hadn't enjoyed a pint at the Rusty B. I first came with my husband and sister-in-law years ago when I was expecting, enjoying the ginger beer, the ample space, and not much else. I had it on my list when visiting again, but never made it inside. Finally, this trip, I got several pints, a couple of pizzas, and a burger, too. Order at the bar (note that there are £5 burgers on Mondays! and monthly specials for the burgers and pizzas), and pick your spot. I enjoy the little huts in the back garden, past the creepy cupboard (which is handy for threatening misbehaving children), but with so much space in the main room and the lovely outdoor tables, practically every seat is a good one. The burger was quite good for the price. The portion on the sweet potato chips was quite generous, and they were lovely and crisp. I enjoyed the pizzas - L'Ala Falco with sausage, onion, fior de latte, the June special with chorizo and corn, the margherita, and the kids cheese - nice crust with just the right amount of char and chew. Looking forward to more visits and pints in the future! 2019 Reviews #24

Yelp
I'm surprised this place hasn't had more reviews. It's an utterly brilliant little pub in a fast-improving part of Oxford. It's run by a couple of young men and they bring a true dedication to this business. Fabulous range and quality of beers and excellent, simple food. In times when other pubs struggle and go out of business this place is thriving and deservedly so. There are a number of these types of pubs that have appeared in Oxford These places have a good clientel who enjoy the atmosphere and the banter. It's like the re-invention of the pub with all the bad old thuggish bits taken out and the wonderful traditional bits kept in. This will be the saviour of the British pub which is otherwise under siege on all sides.

Yelp
Had a Dodo boiyger + rosemary fries and let me tell you something... it changed my life. Most boiygers blend into one in my memory and I never miss one because I think "oh I can get this anywhere else". This boiyger though... a unique one of a kind tasting lil hotty. I wanna take this boiyger home and make it my wife, have kids with it and have brunch together and go on long walks together. I never wanna let another guy near this boiyger, I wanna grow old wit this boiyger and share fish and chips by the sea together! I wanna talk dirty to this boiyger, and smear it all over my body. Also just wanna say the "pizza dippin" sauce took me to another planet, I wanna bathe in this all day and adopt it as my own sun and let it know that it'll never be lonely. This meal made me feel okay about my the abyss and eventual end of all living things, I no longer care that I will one day cease to live. I no longer fear the entropy or the brevity of life. This boiyger changed my life, thank you so much rusty place. There was nothing rusty about my boiyger and the hotties that served me. Charming place. Come 2 Brighton please no food in Brighton compares.

Yelp
Went here for brunch and was a little disappointed. the place is great but the food was underwhelming, very basic for the price and didn't live up to the fancy menu descriptions.

Yelp
We're remiss to have given this place a review after living here for a year and a half already. This place is fantastic, off the beaten path of course between Iffley and Cowley Rds, but great food and great beer and drinks. The burgers are kick ass. Their sister pub, the Rickety Press in Jericho, is also another of our favorites. Highly recommended.

Yelp
A wonderful pub, at least in the opinion of this Yank. Both beers we had were excellent, the burgers are among the best I've ever had, and the ambiance is lively and fun. What more can one look for in a pub?
