The Rusty Parrot Lodge and Spa is fabulous. From the time you pull up the staff is ready to ensure this will be the best place you stay. It came natural for them and everyone seemed genuine. The lodge was beautifully decorated. Check in was a breeze and we had a beautiful 2 Queen room that was very clean and very quiet. The room was turned down nightly. The coffee and tea station on our floor was clean and welcoming. The coffee was freshly made throughout the day and it tasted great so I never felt the need to run out to a coffee shop. Fresh baked cookies in the evening. Each morning we would take our coffee up to the ‘perch’ to watch for wildlife. The fresh air and birds chirping welcomed us. The other balcony area looked out towards the city streets of Jackson. Very comfortable with multiple seating areas so you didn’t feel crowded. The lodge sits back towards the butte so this balcony area was quiet. Breakfast was delicious. The dinner menu had a great selection. The front desk can assist with booking tours or events you want to be involved in while visiting. We did the tour of the Grand Tetons with Yellowstone Day Tours (ask for Dan as your guide), and went Horseback Riding at Willow Flats in the Hobach Valley. The Body Sage Spa is very inviting and available for massages and facials. Pamper yourself with a treatment if you have the time. You don’t need to book in the Spa to use the lodge hot tub which is outside on the first level. We had an amazing stay. Great staff. Great food. Great location. We even had the pleasure of meeting Ron the owner while we were there. Very friendly and made you feel welcomed and a part of the lodge. Thank you to all of the staff who made our trip relaxing and memorable.

Stayed here for three nights with another couple in an adjacent room to ours. Every aspect and contributing factor to this review was most positive during our stay. Prior to our arrival, my communications with Jennifer were efficient and helpful with her assistance in planning our tours for Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. Upon arrival, Jennifer and her staff greeted us most kindly and professionally. We had been upgraded to a room with a balcony of which we most sincerely appreciated. The rooms were very tastefully decorated, spacious, and the bedding mattress/linens were very comfortable. The bath was also very nice with a rain shower and also a tub for the evening relaxation. Our first evening at the resort we had enjoyed a wonderful dining experience at their very own restaurant. The next days we were out on the park tours and were happy to return to such a nice comfortable room. While we were away, the staff professionally cleaned and restocked all the amenities necessary. In my profession, I travel extensively and have a great array of hotel comparisons. The one biggest positive attribute about this property to us was the helpful professionalism demonstrated amongst all the staff. It was every member right down to the chef in the kitchen looking out above his table across the restaurant watching you just waiting to see your reaction to his carefully prepared appetizer or meal. Jackson WY was definitely one of our most expensive destinations that we have now experienced. But, huge kudos and thanks to the Rusty Parrot staff to helping make it all a wonderful memorable experience. Jennifer was aware that I am a huge contributor to this website and I told her that Rusty Parrot would be my * 500th* review and that in itself is a huge milestone for me !! 😊

Just finished a wonderful 3-day stay at the Rusty Parrot and cannot recommend it highly enough! The location is unbeatable - right in the heart of Jackson but surprisingly quiet, just a short walk to the town square and all the shops and restaurants. Would absolutely stay here again! Our spacious room had that perfect rustic chic vibe and the bed was quite comfortable. The food in the Wild Sage restaurant was solid - albeit the menu was pretty slim. If you have Hilton Diamond status, that nets you a $50/daily breakfast credit which was much appreciated. What really set this place apart though was the incredible service, particularly by Jennifer. We had a couple of wrenches thrown our way during the trip (e.g., needing to make a last minute change on some dining reservations, needing to track down a very hard to find pet carrier for an upcoming flight) and she did an amazing job solving for them!

Beginning in 2015 my husband and I stayed at The Rusty Parrot, a small boutique hotel, for 5 years. Then they had the devastating fire and we watched them rebuild for the next five years. We were finally able to return this year and what a nice experience! The entire facility is extremely well designed and constructed. We loved the suite. We especially enjoyed the balcony and quiet location. The staff is so friendly and competent. Look forward to returning next year.

My husband and I just spent 7 days at The Rusty Parrot. The hotel is amazing...beautiful finishes, very upscale lodgey; the views of the mountains and the stream are beautiful, very relaxing; the room is very spacious and clean; the beds are SO comfortable. The location is perfect...just about a block from downtown Jackson, so you can easily walk to everything but not have to be in the middle of the noise and traffic of the downtown area. From the front desk staff (Jennifer, Junior, and Red), who welcome you by name when you enter the lobby, help with maps of the parks, retrieve your car, make reservations, and make you coffee at 5:00 am when you have an early flight; to the guys who make cookies in the afternoon (yum!); to the amazing cleaning staff who keep everything so clean and always greet you with a smile; to the bartenders (Duck and James); to the all the restaurant personnel who kept us in tasty breakfasts and dinners the entire week...the staff goes way above and beyond to make you feel like a guest in their home. Fabulous week, we definitely recommend!

Google
Hands down the best hospitality experiences I’ve had in the states; the service was on par with that of Asia. All of the staff memebers were great as other reviews say. Everything felt personal without being overdone. The room was excellent. The best bed and pillows we've slept on. Highly recommend the on-site restaurant, Wild Sage. I love trying new hotels, but this is definitely the one that I would come back to. (And if you’re camping at any point during your trip, try to wrap it up here and treat yourself 🧖💆)

The Rusty Parrot was the best vacation experience my husband and I have ever had. The level of service (Jennifer at the front desk, Jake the valet at the front door) and everyone else that works so hard to make this place special, thank you! The beds were a dream, all the nice touches they have in the rooms, and the quality of the building (no expense was spared). We slept soundly every night. We ate at the restaurant twice, superb. And they offer delicious cookies with tea/coffee in the afternoons-so appreciated. This hotel was worth every penny!

Yelp
First let me say, I highly recommend the Body Sage Spa. I get massages regularly and am picky about that, and they more than exceeded my expectations. My husband and I booked the "Wild Nature" couples experience and it was absolutely wonderful from the salt "brush" to the mud wrap to the massage. It was magical and relaxing. The facilities and grounds were beautiful, and we thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and seating area both before and after the services. The pics on line don't show their wild flower bed, so just know it's even prettier out there in person! I do wish they had a sauna/steam room. But everything else made up for that... let me tell you the best part: Because our services ended at noon, we asked if we'd be able to order any light lunch fare afterwards. Unfortunately the kitchen of the restaurant there was/is closed between 10am-3pm and so far they weren't allowing guests to bring in off-property food into the spa (smells, mess, etc.). That made sense to us, and we figured we'd just skip lunch that day. However, they have a wonderful and experienced spa director, Kimberly Acker, who surprised us as we left the massage room and said, "Follow me." She led us upstairs to, their outdoor rooftop deck, The Perch, where a bottle of Prosecco on ice, three types of avocado toast, and a bowl of berries awaited us! We felt like royalty sitting there in our robes by a giant fireplace sipping bubbles and nibbling on healthy bites post-service! Kimberly said our request had been a good test run for how to offer spa-appropriate food partnering with other local vendors to guests (aka: no smelly cheeseburgers etc.! LOL!) Wow! We were so impressed we came back for a drink in their beautiful bar and dinner at the hotel restaurant, Wild Sage. Delicious!!! Next time perhaps we'll stay there at the hotel too (this time we were in our Airstream over at The Virginian, which we were sad to hear won't be there much longer.)

Yelp
In the 20+ years I've been living in Jackson Hole have been fortunate to have several massages and facials at the Rusty Parrot; each experience has been relaxing, rejuvenating, and always first rate. The massage I had with Brandi yesterday (with CBD oil as an add-on) was all that and more: I used the words "miraculous" and "life-changing" with my friends! Before we began I expressed to her issues I'd been having (specifically with both shoulders/biceps/wrists/hands) and she was incredibly gifted in being able to work on those areas as well as my entire body. Both immediately after the massage and this morning I had much more mobility in my arms, and was pain free; I cannot recommend Brandi/the Rusty Parrot highly enough.

Yelp
I had a one hour massage with Andrea and it was the best massage I have ever had. She understood where she needed to apply more pressure but also didn't "hurt" me. I think all 60 minutes were put to good use. The spa itself is very tranquil and the bathrooms are very nice/clean too. Good value. Not inexpensive but worth every penny!

Yelp
Very unassuming building, both outside and in, but in this spa, relaxation and good vibes abound. Very professional staff, clean facilities, high quality products. I purchased the 3 hour Japan Bath House Ritual with add-on dry brushing and it was phenomenal. My massage therapist helped me to stretch and relax muscles I had forgotten I had and I felt like a new person. Highly recommend this spa for desperately needed R&R or a loosen up following a strenuous hike or workout.

Yelp
I can't speak to the purchasing process, as my massage was a gift, but the massage itself was wonderful. Karen is magical! She was very thoughtful, and honored my request of a light-to-moderate massage. When she came across a knot or problem area, she didn't ignore it. She took her time to address my knots and gave extra attention to my upper back, as I requested. The best massage I have received to date!

Yelp
Just had a wonderful massage with Amanda. She was very knowledgeable about the body and was able to help heal my aching back. I appreciated the calming ambiance of the spa, the friendly spa service and the personalized massage therapy. I will absolutely return.

Yelp
What an amazing experience! We go to many spas and this one is thus far one of the best. Worth the trip indeed!

Yelp
Came here with some girlfriends while on a ski trip. Our friend arranged massages for the group (4 of us in total). From the moment we walked in the staff was pleasant and accommodating. The spa itself was beautiful and tranquil and adorably enough located in a lodge called the Rusty Parrot. We were greeted by a smiling attendant and asked to fill out a form with any possible massage enhancements (about $15 each) - I went with the scalp treatment and cupping treatment (both I highly recommend). I cannot say enough great things about my masseuse, Morgan! I got a 90 minute massage and it was worth every penny (although it was pricier than I'm used to spending but hey, vacation!). Before we started she asked me where I'd like her to focus and asked me to let her know how the pressure was. I'm someone who carried a lot of tension in my upper shoulders/neck but Morgan was able to hone in on areas I didn't even realize I had knots. She was clearly a very trained professional and I can honestly say it was the best massage I've ever had in my life. Afterwards I took a shower in a cute private bathroom area right off the massage room and fell in love with their jasmine body shower gel (honestly it's delightful- be sure to check it out!). Wonderful experience, excellent ambiance. I remember enjoying the music, it wasn't your typical spa music (although I love me some Enya) - it was more contemporary - very nice change up from the usual. I would definitely come back! Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Yelp
My husband and I just completed a couples massage and body scrub. 1. Super clean with contemporary design. 2. Service was warm and welcoming. 3. Best massage ever. Really isolated individual muscles. Thorough. 4. Sugar scrub was the best ever. Thorough. 5. Will be going there again before we leave.

Yelp
Had a reflexology massage here recently while on vacation. I had decided to have a second massage after receiving a terrible one by Olga at Snow King Resort. My massage therapist was a sweetheart (telithia?). She made my hands and feet feel brand new! There were gingersnaps, oranges, and fruit water to be had while waiting for the massage. The place was impeccably clean! Con: The walls are super thin and I could hear everything going on in the waiting room, which luckily wasn't a lot. Maybe turn up the music in the rooms? My only regret was that I wasn't early enough to change into a robe and have some tea. Next time!

Julie T.

Yelp
Had a wonderful 1 1/2 hour massage with Teagan. She was very friendly yet professional and gave me a wonderful relaxing massage. Small spa, very clean located just a coupleof blocks from downtown.

Yelp
I received a gift certificate to Body Sage for Christmas and was excited to use it during a recent trip to Jackson. It exceeded my expectations! I arrived early to the spa and was greeted with a serene atmosphere. The receptionist poured me a glass of water and I was able to enjoy the hot tub for a while before my scheduled massage. The hot tub was outside with a view of the mountains and a great touch to start my experience! My massage itself was wonderful. Karen used great deep pressure and I was able to add on cupping as well as a hand/foot treatment. Afterward, there is a private restroom to shower off and change. I would definitely visit again!

Jen B.

Yelp
As a massage therapist and full time student I came here looking for someone to help me relax as usually I am the one helping others relax. Both my massage therapist and esthetician were hands down out of the world. Their service was incredible and worth every penny. If you need to indulge yourself while on vacation then definitely look into their services. I chose one of their 4 hour packages but I doubt you could go wrong with any of their experiences.

Kathi B.

Yelp
I can't remember when I had a more relaxing, rejuvenating and thoroughly uplifting massage in my life! Virgia was reverential and truly in tune with my body, working on areas of tension in my neck and shoulders, but careful to honor my request for a mostly soothing experience. It was as much as a spiritual renewal as it was bodily.

Yelp
It's kind of hidden, and it's small, but The Body Sage is one of the best spas in the valley--totally relaxing, phenomenal therapists, and great products.

Tricia M.

Yelp
We were visiting the area and found the Sage Spa just by chance and I'm SO glad we did! The services were excellent, the therapists were both personable and professional. An afternoon at the Sage Spa was just what I needed after a long week of riding!

Erica M.

Yelp
This spa was incredible. Seriously the best massage of my life. My sister and I both had different massage therapists and both agree: best massages ever. Definitely check this place out!

Yelp
Nice ambience, pleasant staff and Cicily gave me one of the best massages I have ever had!

Yelp
I had one of the best massages of my life at this spa, with Amanda. It was personalized to a T, I'll go there again in a heartbeat when I have the chance.

Barry S.

Yelp
Incredible massage and environment. Was relaxed from the moment I stepped in the door. Amanda was able to work out all my knots and straighten me out for more outdoor adventure. Highly recommend visiting Body Sage at the Rusty Parrot!!!

Yelp
If you walk into a massage with pain, and you walk out with your pain relieved -- and it is still gone 4 days later -- then you've got to give the therapist 5 stars, right? I believe that the therapist, Teagan, is new to Body Sage. She was very thorough, professional, and effective. The spa environment is calming, welcoming. I'm already planning a return visit on my next trip to Jackson.

Yelp
I received a gift certificate for spa services and had a wonderful experience. I requested a massage therapist with experience in deep tissue massage and got exactly what I requested. Amanda was great, professional, and very nice. The scrub was amazing, and the massage included much-needed stretching. Maggie then gave me a one-hour facial that was relaxing and felt great. I walked out after my appointment feeling 100% better than when I arrived. I highly recommend this spa for cleanliness, excellent service, and great therapists. I can't wait to go back!

Ace L.

Yelp
Awesome service and staff. Were able to fit me in last minute. Massage therapist was extremely knowledgable about the body and was able to work muscles that needed. Great pressure. Would def. return!

Yelp
I have lived in Jackson Hole for 20 years and gotten massages at all the local spas. Body Sage is truly the best. I had an especially wonderful treatment with Kate recently. She has a GIFT for massage! My body and spirit are totally rejuvenated after my time with her.
