The Rusty Parrot Lodge and Spa

Visited in late summer. Lovely, cozy, and welcoming hotel with beautiful interiors. The night view from the Perch Deck was amazing🌃 I stayed 3 nights, the mushroom omelet at breakfast was my favorite. The lobby cookies were also delicious. The rental bikes were so stylish and high-tech. The bathroom was cute, though the water pressure could be better. A bit pricey in summer, but definitely worth it in the off-season. I’d love to come back again in another season.

Spa review (I did not stay at the lodge); As an athlete, the deep release with (locally sourced!?) arnica was so relieving, my face shape relaxed. First, you enter the serene lobby, then the locker room after check in. Citrus water is offered while in the waiting area, where the practitioner meets you. Garen came promptly, and guided me downstairs to the massage areas. Soft music and low lights create a warm glow feeling. During the service warm pillows, hot towels, and cold crystal masks are enjoyed. Breathing is easy, and Garden made sure to time the massage with my breaths, which is an intuitive touch sincerely appreciated. Pressure checks are frequent, throughout the massage to ensure comfort and effectiveness. After the service, you are left to get redressed and brought back to the lobby, where you may relax additionally with a delightful snack before getting ready to depart. Overall great option to stay in Jackson. We had a very clean and comfortable room. The whole hotel is was well decorated including a tree in the lobby. Front desk crew was attentive and caring. They offered to help each interaction. Breakfast in the restaurant just off the lobby was delicious. Additionally the outdoor hot tub in the courtyard is large enough for multiple guests.

My wife and I celebrated our 30th anniversary in Jackson and spent three wonderful nights at the Rusty Parrot. After three decades of staying at some excellent Conrad and Waldorf properties, this one has officially become our favorite—yes, it beat them all.||From the friendly text from management the day before we arrived, it was clear this place does hospitality right. With a smaller number of rooms, the staff actually knows who you are (imagine that!) and treats you like you’re their most important guest—without being over the top.||The location is perfect: just a few short blocks from the heart of Jackson and an easy walk, even when the temperature reminds you that you’re in Wyoming. And if you opt for daily housekeeping, your room gets refreshed twice a day, each time with a thoughtful, classy touch that makes you smile when you walk back in.||The Rusty Parrot made our anniversary trip truly special, and we’re already looking forward to our return.

This place embodies hospitality. Our 5 person family had the most amazing experience. The facility is so nice, cozy and beautiful. Service was first class all around. The staff is so welcoming and helpful. Attention to every detail was exceptional. The food is a cut-above. Do not miss out on the breakfast here. Everything on the menu is delicious.

We had the best stay here recently! Everything was perfect, but the service was exceptional and made the experience unforgettable. Jennifer gave great recommendations for moose sightings on Gros Ventre Rd as well as a scenic walk around Jackson! We didn’t get a chance to eat at Wild Sage but I would love to next time. I would stay here again without reservation and have already recommended it to several people!

This hotel was AMAZING. We absolutely loved our stay. Everyone working the valet and the front desk were so friendly and helpful. Binoculars or walking sticks for hikes? No problem. Water bottles? No problem. Reservation at the hotel restaurant the day of? No problem. Fixing the hot water in the tub when it ran cold one night? DONE. We asked for all of this and more and they never made us feel bad for asking -- instead made us feel like the most special guests in the most special place. The rooms were perfectly furnished with charming touches, and the quiet location is perfect (Close enough to walk into town for anything, but far away from the main square.) The food is great, the people are great, and we are already talking about coming back. ||As a side note, we also stayed at another hotel in Teton Village during our trip. There, even though we paid more and the hotel has a "luxurious" reputation, we felt like they did not care at all about our experience and had a MUCH better time at RP. Plus, RP is a family and locally owned business. Choose them!

This hotel was incredible in every way. Cleanliness is my number one priority and it was immaculate! The staff was so kind and made my birthday very special. Breakfast was fantastic! The location to town was perfect but also felt quiet and peaceful. An absolute 5 star hotel!

First let me say, I highly recommend the Body Sage Spa. I get massages regularly and am picky about that, and they more than exceeded my expectations. My husband and I booked the "Wild Nature" couples experience and it was absolutely wonderful from the salt "brush" to the mud wrap to the massage. It was magical and relaxing. The facilities and grounds were beautiful, and we thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and seating area both before and after the services. The pics on line don't show their wild flower bed, so just know it's even prettier out there in person! I do wish they had a sauna/steam room. But everything else made up for that... let me tell you the best part: Because our services ended at noon, we asked if we'd be able to order any light lunch fare afterwards. Unfortunately the kitchen of the restaurant there was/is closed between 10am-3pm and so far they weren't allowing guests to bring in off-property food into the spa (smells, mess, etc.). That made sense to us, and we figured we'd just skip lunch that day. However, they have a wonderful and experienced spa director, Kimberly Acker, who surprised us as we left the massage room and said, "Follow me." She led us upstairs to, their outdoor rooftop deck, The Perch, where a bottle of Prosecco on ice, three types of avocado toast, and a bowl of berries awaited us! We felt like royalty sitting there in our robes by a giant fireplace sipping bubbles and nibbling on healthy bites post-service! Kimberly said our request had been a good test run for how to offer spa-appropriate food partnering with other local vendors to guests (aka: no smelly cheeseburgers etc.! LOL!) Wow! We were so impressed we came back for a drink in their beautiful bar and dinner at the hotel restaurant, Wild Sage. Delicious!!! Next time perhaps we'll stay there at the hotel too (this time we were in our Airstream over at The Virginian, which we were sad to hear won't be there much longer.)

In the 20+ years I've been living in Jackson Hole have been fortunate to have several massages and facials at the Rusty Parrot; each experience has been relaxing, rejuvenating, and always first rate. The massage I had with Brandi yesterday (with CBD oil as an add-on) was all that and more: I used the words "miraculous" and "life-changing" with my friends! Before we began I expressed to her issues I'd been having (specifically with both shoulders/biceps/wrists/hands) and she was incredibly gifted in being able to work on those areas as well as my entire body. Both immediately after the massage and this morning I had much more mobility in my arms, and was pain free; I cannot recommend Brandi/the Rusty Parrot highly enough.

I had a one hour massage with Andrea and it was the best massage I have ever had. She understood where she needed to apply more pressure but also didn't "hurt" me. I think all 60 minutes were put to good use. The spa itself is very tranquil and the bathrooms are very nice/clean too. Good value. Not inexpensive but worth every penny!

Very unassuming building, both outside and in, but in this spa, relaxation and good vibes abound. Very professional staff, clean facilities, high quality products. I purchased the 3 hour Japan Bath House Ritual with add-on dry brushing and it was phenomenal. My massage therapist helped me to stretch and relax muscles I had forgotten I had and I felt like a new person. Highly recommend this spa for desperately needed R&R or a loosen up following a strenuous hike or workout.

I can't speak to the purchasing process, as my massage was a gift, but the massage itself was wonderful. Karen is magical! She was very thoughtful, and honored my request of a light-to-moderate massage. When she came across a knot or problem area, she didn't ignore it. She took her time to address my knots and gave extra attention to my upper back, as I requested. The best massage I have received to date!

Just had a wonderful massage with Amanda. She was very knowledgeable about the body and was able to help heal my aching back. I appreciated the calming ambiance of the spa, the friendly spa service and the personalized massage therapy. I will absolutely return.

What an amazing experience! We go to many spas and this one is thus far one of the best. Worth the trip indeed!

Came here with some girlfriends while on a ski trip. Our friend arranged massages for the group (4 of us in total). From the moment we walked in the staff was pleasant and accommodating. The spa itself was beautiful and tranquil and adorably enough located in a lodge called the Rusty Parrot. We were greeted by a smiling attendant and asked to fill out a form with any possible massage enhancements (about $15 each) - I went with the scalp treatment and cupping treatment (both I highly recommend). I cannot say enough great things about my masseuse, Morgan! I got a 90 minute massage and it was worth every penny (although it was pricier than I'm used to spending but hey, vacation!). Before we started she asked me where I'd like her to focus and asked me to let her know how the pressure was. I'm someone who carried a lot of tension in my upper shoulders/neck but Morgan was able to hone in on areas I didn't even realize I had knots. She was clearly a very trained professional and I can honestly say it was the best massage I've ever had in my life. Afterwards I took a shower in a cute private bathroom area right off the massage room and fell in love with their jasmine body shower gel (honestly it's delightful- be sure to check it out!). Wonderful experience, excellent ambiance. I remember enjoying the music, it wasn't your typical spa music (although I love me some Enya) - it was more contemporary - very nice change up from the usual. I would definitely come back! Highly recommend if you're in the area.

My husband and I just completed a couples massage and body scrub. 1. Super clean with contemporary design. 2. Service was warm and welcoming. 3. Best massage ever. Really isolated individual muscles. Thorough. 4. Sugar scrub was the best ever. Thorough. 5. Will be going there again before we leave.

Had a reflexology massage here recently while on vacation. I had decided to have a second massage after receiving a terrible one by Olga at Snow King Resort. My massage therapist was a sweetheart (telithia?). She made my hands and feet feel brand new! There were gingersnaps, oranges, and fruit water to be had while waiting for the massage. The place was impeccably clean! Con: The walls are super thin and I could hear everything going on in the waiting room, which luckily wasn't a lot. Maybe turn up the music in the rooms? My only regret was that I wasn't early enough to change into a robe and have some tea. Next time!

Had a wonderful 1 1/2 hour massage with Teagan. She was very friendly yet professional and gave me a wonderful relaxing massage. Small spa, very clean located just a coupleof blocks from downtown.

I received a gift certificate to Body Sage for Christmas and was excited to use it during a recent trip to Jackson. It exceeded my expectations! I arrived early to the spa and was greeted with a serene atmosphere. The receptionist poured me a glass of water and I was able to enjoy the hot tub for a while before my scheduled massage. The hot tub was outside with a view of the mountains and a great touch to start my experience! My massage itself was wonderful. Karen used great deep pressure and I was able to add on cupping as well as a hand/foot treatment. Afterward, there is a private restroom to shower off and change. I would definitely visit again!

As a massage therapist and full time student I came here looking for someone to help me relax as usually I am the one helping others relax. Both my massage therapist and esthetician were hands down out of the world. Their service was incredible and worth every penny. If you need to indulge yourself while on vacation then definitely look into their services. I chose one of their 4 hour packages but I doubt you could go wrong with any of their experiences.

I can't remember when I had a more relaxing, rejuvenating and thoroughly uplifting massage in my life! Virgia was reverential and truly in tune with my body, working on areas of tension in my neck and shoulders, but careful to honor my request for a mostly soothing experience. It was as much as a spiritual renewal as it was bodily.

It's kind of hidden, and it's small, but The Body Sage is one of the best spas in the valley--totally relaxing, phenomenal therapists, and great products.

We were visiting the area and found the Sage Spa just by chance and I'm SO glad we did! The services were excellent, the therapists were both personable and professional. An afternoon at the Sage Spa was just what I needed after a long week of riding!

This spa was incredible. Seriously the best massage of my life. My sister and I both had different massage therapists and both agree: best massages ever. Definitely check this place out!

If you walk into a massage with pain, and you walk out with your pain relieved -- and it is still gone 4 days later -- then you've got to give the therapist 5 stars, right? I believe that the therapist, Teagan, is new to Body Sage. She was very thorough, professional, and effective. The spa environment is calming, welcoming. I'm already planning a return visit on my next trip to Jackson.

I received a gift certificate for spa services and had a wonderful experience. I requested a massage therapist with experience in deep tissue massage and got exactly what I requested. Amanda was great, professional, and very nice. The scrub was amazing, and the massage included much-needed stretching. Maggie then gave me a one-hour facial that was relaxing and felt great. I walked out after my appointment feeling 100% better than when I arrived. I highly recommend this spa for cleanliness, excellent service, and great therapists. I can't wait to go back!

I have lived in Jackson Hole for 20 years and gotten massages at all the local spas. Body Sage is truly the best. I had an especially wonderful treatment with Kate recently. She has a GIFT for massage! My body and spirit are totally rejuvenated after my time with her.
