My wife and I went to sacred pepper to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary. We had a magical evening. The ambiance was perfect, my wife and I were able to enjoy the time we spent without worrying about a thing. Our server was great and made sure we were taken care of. The food was a 10/10!!

After much research, I selected The Sacred Pepper to celebrate 3 milestone family birthdays. We had never been before, but the menu seemed to cater to each of our particular tastes. We were happily surprised by the elegant exterior, and upon entering, we were absolutely enamored by the swanky, sophisticated, warm, well-appointed, but super comfortable dining room. We were seated at a prime table that felt both central but private and immediately began vibing to the perfectly pitched ambient jazz. We began our meal with deliciously smooth glasses of Bonanza Cabernet by Caymus and the Mediterranean Goat Cheese and Shishito Pepper appetizers. The goat cheese was perfectly creamy and tart, balanced by a rich tomato sauce studded by olives and onions and served with warm, fresh flatbread. The Shishito Peppers were fried tempura-style and accompanied by a sweet teriyaki sauce that complimented the heat of the peppers. They were light, crispy, flavorful and yummily addictive!!! For our entrees, we ordered the Sea Bass, Ribeye, Grouper Piccata and Sicilian Chicken. I will not detail each (pics pf each included) but can attest to each having truly delighted us!! I will focus my review on the Sea Bass which is the dish I ordered. The fish was delicate, flaky, subtly seasoned but perfectly cooked. I was particularly delighted by the seared rice cake, as a Puerto Rican person it reminded me of the best kind of 'pegao'..toasty outside and grainy soft middle. The dish was satisfying and delicious...a bit more seasoning on the fish would have suited my personal taste but I can see it being perfect to others. The evening was capped by the sweetest complementary chocolate lava cakes and fresh whip for our birthday crew. Our attendants were delightful, so attentive and did all they could to make our birthday crew feel special! The Sacred Pepper is an absolute Tampa gem!!!! I highly recommend this beautiful experience for any and all occasions!!

Google
Sacred pepper has a delightful and delicious array of foods and styles. Would recommend to anyone willing to spend a little more than usual but not break the bank(maybe). Not exactly fine dining but the food has a sort of essence to it that made for a nice mix of quality and comfort. That being said, it was a little loud and people shout to converse around you so maybe not the place to be for those with sensory sensitivity.

Google
This restaurant offers a wonderful dining experience. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is attentive and friendly. I really enjoyed the steak and lobster tail, which were both flavorful and well-prepared. The meatball appetizer was also a highlight and made for a great start to the meal. Overall, it’s a great place to enjoy delicious food in a pleasant setting.

Google
Sacred Pepper did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by smiling faces and were seated immediately. Our server was Madison and she was friendly and knowledgeable when it came to the menu. She came to the table and welcomed and thanked us, since this was our first dining experience at the restaurant. She gave us some go to favorites and also recommended her own. The drinks we were reasonable in price and satisfying. The appetizers were brought out immediately and were fresh. The main entrees were delicious! The lamb chops were seasoned well and so tender! We were celebrating a birthday, so they gave a complimentary dessert with a birthday candle! A real nice added touch. The ambiance of the restaurant was everything. Beautiful decor, lighting was perfect for a relaxing yet elegant dinner. I would recommend if you're in town, to stop by for the Sacred Pepper🌶 experience!

Google
What can I say except 5 out of 5 for great food and great service in an great setting. A bit pricey but well worth it. I highly recommend The Sacred Pepper if you’re upscale comfort foods. This is your place. Great wine selection and so many options on the menu you may have difficulty deciding.

Google
Just Beautiful. It is definitely an amazing experience. The food is to die for. Small proportions, but the taste is everything. If you get an alcoholic beverage, you know there’s alcohol in it. The only downfall I would say that is they are overpriced but you are paying for that experience, the atmosphere the quality and the service.

Google
I had an unforgettable night at the Sacred Pepper! The service was on point 😍. The appetizers... oysters Rockefeller with bacon were EVERYTHING and more, and those artichokes? Chef's kiss! My grouper was spot on, but honestly, the real star of the show was the creme brulee bread pudding – game... CHANGER!

Yelp
I cannot say enough good things about The Sacred Pepper - it was so much better than I could have ever expected for our business meeting! From the moment we arrived, the service was incredible - attentive, warm, and professional. They seated us in the most perfect spot with just the right amount of privacy and quiet, which made it easy to talk and focus. Every single thing we ordered was amazing. The Berry Ginger Smash mocktail was refreshing and delicious, the crème brûlée was absolutely divine, and the cookies and espresso were the perfect finish. The homemade pasta was excellent, and the lobster-stuffed shrimp were truly next level. 10/10 experience. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
I usually don't write reviews, but the way our dinner was handled last night deserves one. We came for a birthday party with a group of 12. We were told ahead of time that we'd probably be split between two tables, which was fine. What we didn't realize was that the tables would be placed on completely opposite sides of the restaurant. Before appetizers even came out, people from both tables asked several times if we could be moved closer together as other seats opened up. Each time, we were told "we'll try" and then nothing happened. When the dessert was finally brought out for the birthday, only one side of the group was told--so half of us missed the celebration. When we spoke with Ramon, who we were told was the manager, the response was a stern "I'll talk to them." No apology, no acknowledgment, no effort to make things right. What should have been a fun night was ruined by poor handling and lack of care. We accepted being split, but not being treated like two completely separate parties. It felt like they chose not to accommodate, and continued to choose to not acknowledge through out the night and it soured the entire evening.

Yelp
We were at Sacred Pepper to celebrate a "big" birthday! Excellent choice! Many incredibly innovative dishes, creative cocktails, a great wine selection and over the top service. For a starter, Oysters Rockefeller. Just the right combination of juicy oyster, spinach and bacon generously topped with parm. Cocktails of smoked Old Fashion and the Little Miss Beauregarde blueberry, lemon, herbal with lavender Vodka. Generous pours. Perfect combinations of flavors. Herb Crusted Rack of Lamb was amazingly moist with a great light char. Bonus with a wonderful cassoulet. Perfectly paired with a glass of the Orin Swift 8 Years. The absolute star was the Raviolo & Lobster. This isn't your standard Lobster Ravioli. Picture a tube about four inches wide and four inches high made of squares of pasta (cooked to al dente perfection). Then fill the tube with big pieces of lobster and pour in a delicious home made light tomato cream lobster sauce. Yep! Pretty amazing! The oven roasted caramelized Brussel Sprouts with bacon and balsamic glaze was a very good match for both of our entrees. Could not leave without a spectacular dessert, Summer Budino. Made with lady fingers around a ramakin filled with orange flavored custard, with a layer of raspberry compote and topped with freshly whipped cream! The chairs were the most comfortable that I've ever sat in at a dinner table. The tables seemed to be a little lower than usual, but another fantastic addition to the overall experience. I have to mention our server Aiden. Professional, polite and extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the menu. There wasn't a question that he could not answer. He seemed to always be there before we needed him. Water glasses were always filled, but I never noticed him filling the glasses. He really was the key factor in pushing this dining experience way over the top!

Yelp
This may be one of my favorite restaurants in this area. The live music was a great touch, the service was amazing, and the food was delicious. I had the oysters Rockefeller and they were so good. My rib eye was a good cut of meat and cooked to perfection. The drinks were mixed well and did the job also. I have nothing but great things to say about my visit here.

Yelp
Great ambiance and great customer service. The venue is very beautifully decorated. The food was just decent we got the oyster Rockefeller, pesto pasta, ribeye steak with parmesan crust, and drinks. All items required us to add salt and pepper, but I was very pleased with the mac n cheese and the citrus margarita.

Yelp
First, I'd like to thank Yelp for giving me so much information about this restaurant before going there. I knew what the food would look like and had a better idea of what to order, so thank you. We went to Sacred Pepper last night to celebrate a big birthday. We were joined by some dear friends so it was a table of 4. This was our first time at "Sacred Pepper. From the moment we arrived till the time we left, this was a near perfect experience. The restaurant was filled with ambience and good holiday cheer. The staff up front and our server, Sampson, were so friendly and accommodating, they helped make our night a true success. The live music, the way the place was decorated and the happy patrons dressed so nicely, you felt you were in a classy place where nothing could go wrong. The drinks and meals were sumptuous and certainly surpassed our expectations. We even got some nice photos taken before we left. It was a perfect night. Thank you Sacred Pepper! We shall return!

Yelp
What a dining experience. Solo date. I tried a little bit of everything. Samson my waiter was very attentive, accommodating, and personable. The decor, ambiance and location are all superb. I loved that they had live entertainment. Appetizers: Oysters 7/10 these reminded me of potato skins I know it sounds weird but that's the flavor profile. I do feel they were a little small in size. Stuffed lobster shrimp 8/10 it's like eating a crabcake, Lobster and shrimp all at once. Everything was fresh and paired well together. You get 4 and that enough to share or enjoy alone. Dinner: Lobster ravioli 11/10 if you like pasta, and Lobster bisque this item is for you. The ricotta cheese stuffed pasta with fresh perfecting cooked Lobster swimming in a warm rich creamy broth. This was quite remarkable Rack of lamb w/ Brussel sprouts. 9/10 I love Brussel sprouts and these were seasoned well and the cook on the lamb was perfect. Dessert: Limincello butter cake 11/10 Warm, moist decadent cake oozing with a rich cream and bursting with lemon flavor accompanied by fresh fruit. Just trust me and order this! I can't wait to come back when I'm in town.

Yelp
We had such a great experience at Sacred Pepper! We grabbed seats at the bar around 5pm and the atmosphere was perfect! Lively but still relaxed, with a stylish and welcoming vibe. To start, we shared the pistachio-crusted brie and shishito peppers (both were amazing). The brie was creamy and flavorful with the perfect crunch from the pistachios, and the peppers had just the right amount of char and heat. For dinner, we tried the Malfadine with shrimp and the deluxe mixed grill. Both were absolutely delicious. The pasta was rich and savory with perfectly cooked shrimp, and the mixed grill had a great variety and was cooked to perfection. Service was excellent. Overall friendly, attentive, and fast without feeling rushed. We had a fantastic dining experience and will definitely be back!

Yelp
Staff was excellent and attentive to the party I attended. The food was good. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I want very hungry so I ordered 2 appetizers and a cocktail. Over all experience was very nice. Will come back to try other menu items.

Yelp
Oh, Sacred Pepper--how I love thee. I chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday, and it did not disappoint. We dined in on a weekend evening, and although it was busy, we had made reservations and were seated quickly. We ordered the Pistachio-Crusted Fried Brie ($14.95), the Oysters Rockefeller ($18.90), the Chilean Sea Bass ($37.90), a steak with broccoli & shrimp, mashed potatoes, and a shrimp pasta dish. Everything was delicious! In fact, we ended up ordering a second round of the oysters and fried brie. A musician serenaded guests at the piano throughout the night, accompanied by a singer who was kind enough to sing "Happy Birthday" to me. To top it all off, our server brought me a special dessert. The entire experience was a 10--from the ambiance to the food. My family and I had a wonderful time.

Yelp
My friend and I decided to go to Sacred Pepper without a reservation to meet some friends and instantly loved the vibe. The place was packed, but the huge bar area made it easy to grab one open seat until another opened up --everyone was so friendly they didn't mind sharing space and the bartenders were so attentive as soon as we walked in. There's also another section connected to the bar where you can dine without a reservation, which is a nice bonus. We joined our other girlfriends there, who just finished dinner. The décor is gorgeous--modern, bougie, and just the right amount of upscale without feeling stuffy. The crowd was mostly older, super friendly, and the live piano music gave the whole evening a classy, relaxed feel. The food? Absolutely amazing. The parmesan-crusted local tripletail with crab and lemon beurre blanc was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, with buttery garlic matchstick carrots and crisp green beans on the side. This entree was on the daily specials menu. The freshly shucked Harvest Peak oysters were briny, fresh, and perfect with the house cocktail sauce and cucumber mignonette. I'm used to horseradish with my oysters and the cucumber mignonette made one of my favorite meals surprisingly different and delicious - I made a note to myself to find a recipe to make it at home. For drinks, the Love Bird was silky, bright, and fruity with the perfect gin-and-raspberry twist, while the Morning in Italy was light, bubbly, and refreshing--like a little vacation in a glass. The service was also amazing. The staff was very attentive and food came out as expected. We didn't feel rushed once we were done and could have stayed much longer if we didn't have an early morning planned. We stopped at Sacred Pepper thinking we would just have a drink and an appetizer for a last-minute girls night out and left full, happy, and already planning our next visit!

Yelp
My wife and I have dined at The Sacred Pepper a number of times and enjoyed our experience. Today, at 4:30 we arrived and told the hostess we wanted a table at the far end. She told us to go ahead. As we arrived at our regular table she (I believe her name was Annie, a young lady with blond hair) told us we couldn't sit there. I told her that we usually sit there to no avail. She insisted we could not sit there. I should mention the restaurant was empty, not a soul in the dining room. I was so taken aback, I couldn't say a word. We decided to leave and she gave us a sarcastic, "Have a good evening" with a Hollywood smile. We will not be back. I am 83 years old, traveled the world and have never been treated with such disrespect in a restaurant.

Yelp
Went to dinner on a Monday night after the original restaurant we picked was closed - what an amazing surprise!!! This place had been on my list, but I'm not in the area often to try it. This restaurant is beautiful and designed so well! The lighting, decor and set up is really pretty, as well as great music!! It wasn't too packed for a Monday evening either! We discovered they have a great deal on Mondays that includes an app or dessert, salad, and entree for under $30! We also got there in time for happy hour and enjoyed $6 house wines. Our server Lily was so friendly and took great care of us! All our food was delicious! We got the meatball app and they were huge. Flavor was so good and the ricotta was a nice touch. I got the house salad and my friend got the heart salad - both were so good and fresh! I ordered the sirloin and it was cooked beautifully. We were so full, we had to get our entrees boxed up to make room for the lava cake for dessert! Definitely will be back!

Yelp
Wonderful food, excellent drink options, and even better entertainment and service. The ambiance is classy yet lively, and there's always a great special or event to look forward to each night. I enjoy their seafood options a lot, as well as their white wines and margaritas. The desserts are tasty if you have the room for it! Definitely give them a try!
google avatar

Yelp
The ambiance is very nice and this was a convenient place to go after a local pool party. The food and drinks were priced as expected but they were not memorable. There wasn't anything that my crew ordered that would encourage me to visit again. The flavor was standard. Neither bad nor great. The drinks were okay. Again priced as expected but not strong enough to justify the price.

Yelp
My wife and I had been talking about going here for years and finally pulled the trigger. It was her birthday and we were not disappointed! Service was great and the choice of a little more formal dining and the more casual bar area was unique. She had the Vodka Pasta and I had the Grouper Piccata after starting with Oysters Rockefeller (sp?). My only "complaint" was the bacon in the Oysters was a little too much and I love bacon. I also had the smoked Old Fashioned. Their menu is seasonal so check online before you go. We'll definitely be back!
google avatar

Jeffrey H.

Yelp
Great food. Very creative menu. Nice wine at reasonable prices. Service was excellent. Decor was unique with a bubble wall and interesting glass fixtures coming from the ceiling. A great place for a date night or a group.
google avatar

Sydnee A.

Yelp
Sacred Pepper has live music which was nice, because the food wasn't giving much to talk about. The menu was underwhelming, and my salmon was so bland it could've been seasoned with a whisper. Average at best.

Yelp
I'd give this spot a solid 3.6 out of 5! Food was solid, ambiance was nice, service was good. My pasta was excellent. Chicken was slightly overcooked but still good. The crab cakes were fantastic- and my fiancé got the short rib which was unreal. Signature cocktail was wonderful. We noted in the notes for the evening we had just come from getting our engagement photos taken- but there was no acknowledgment of it being a special evening. As a former fine dining server that impacted the experience for me. They had live music but the singer was... just ok haha. My fiancé and I giggled about it throughout the night. For the Saturday after Valentine's Day- just a pianist would've been more refined rather a singer singing Bennie and the jets poorly- at that. Overall it was a nice night. A few small tweaks could quickly take this place from 4 to 5 star dining. We may be back in the future- but definitely a fun spot to try for date night!

Dean ..

Yelp
We to-go from here often, they never disappoint! Thank you to Sandy for being so personable and attentive (and sweet to our pup)! We will continue to choose Sacred Pepper because of the excellent service and delicious food!

Yelp
I've driven by this place so many times for years and last night I finally went! And I'm so happy I did! I wanted to have a celebration dinner for my mom in honor of her being breast cancer free for over 13 years and with October being Breast Cancer awareness month I gathered all my mom's besties and told them to meet me at The Sacred Pepper! We went on a Friday night and it was pretty packed. There was a halloween event going on complete with live music so it was fun seeing everyone in their costumes and the singers set the tone for the most amazing vibe! Our waitress Lilly was awesome and very patient with us considering my mom and her friends speak mostly spanish so the language barrier wasn't always easy but she took great care of us! We ordered fun drinks they even had halloween drinks to choose from! I picked the Poison Ivy a tequila based drink that I enjoyed and for my appetizer I ordered the Mediterranean Baked Goat Cheese which was seriously a dream!!! I LOVE goat cheese so this was amazing. It was served with marinated olives, tomatoes chicken peas and came with flatbread. We used the complimentary bread that came to the table to sop all the flavors us and left the plate completely clean! For my entree I ordered the Spinach Pappardelle & Lobster which was sooooo good I don't think I'd be able to order anything else as my entree next time because I'd want to have it over and over! It was sooooo flavorful and there was a generous amount of delicious juicy lobster. Still has me drooling weeks after! Overall the experience was great. The ambiance, the vibe, the food was everything i could've ever asked for!

Yelp
We have gone twice, just to make sure. Neither of us thought it was worth the hype. It's only been a month and I've already forgotten what we ate. It was edible and service was good, but nothing we want to go back for.

Yelp
Food was amazing including the Crab Cakes!! Recommend the steak and the Fish. Great vibe, great service and staff.

Yelp
My daughters treated me to a delicious Mothers Day dinner. Although it has been a while since this Yummy gathering. The memories of Great Service, ambiance actually contributed to allowing our Party to have amConversations with each other.

Yelp
First time here... and nicely impressed. It was a surprise birthday dinner put on by a bunch of my neighbors. I ordered the Grouper Picatta, and a Caesar Salad. Creme Brulee for dessert. I did not know they were going to bring me a molten lava cake for my birthday, also. So I got double desserts, yay! Grouper was very good... although missing the buttery, lemony tang I associate with Picatta (at least when I make it). But it was delicious, as was the orzo pasta dish it was served on with asparagus. Desserts were excellent! Service was awesome!
google avatar

Hayato D.

Yelp
I do want to start by saying the food was absolutely delicious and highly recommend everyone to come here for just this; what unfortunately fell short was the service. While our server was very respectful, we had to remind our waiter to bring out the bread, an extra incorrect drink was brought to our table (which was also still on our bill that we had to remind them to remove again), the appetizers we ordered never came out (our entrees arrived and after reminding the waiter, it was never placed to the kitchen so we canceled the order). Our dinner experience definitely fell short but with how food the food was I would still recommend it to others to try out.
google avatar

Lora M.

Yelp
I was deciding on someplace special to go for my birthday and selected The Sacred Pepper! It had been a while since we had been there and I'm so happy we went back. Our service was wonderful! From Bobby at the Bar, to our Server Danielle, to the chefs behind the scenes, our evening was great! It was totally a staff the Manager, Stacy, can be proud of! Even Gabe at the Host Stand was awesome. The food was soooo delicious! Everything came out just as ordered and very flavorful! I was even treated to a nice Molten Lava Cake with a candle to celebrate my birthday. We'll definitely be back again soon!
google avatar

Yelp
Sacred Pepper offered a magical dining experience as the gathering place of friends and loved ones to celebrate a sister friend's birthday. We had the pleasure of celebrating in the "Pepper" private dining room that can accommodate about 20 guests to enjoy cocktails and seated dining. The service was incredible with 2 servers to add to an enjoyable dining experience. The night started with specialty cocktails paired with shareable plates of calamari fritte served with house-made marinara/lemon herb aioli sauces and sacred meatballs house-made veal and pork meatballs with fresh ricotta, and house-made marinara sauce. There were 3 entrees offered for guests to select from - chicken burrata, oak grilled Norwegian salmon, or 8oz center hand-cut filet mignon. And to top the night off with a salted caramel cheesecake for dessert
google avatar

Diane G.

Yelp
My guests and I had a very delicious meal! If you want to have the absolute best fried calamari, you need to come here! It never disappoints. I love Oysters Rockefeller as well, but I wasn't as impressed with that here. I had the braised short rib and it was delish! My friend had the lobster and spinach papperdelle and also loved her meal. We were celebrating two birthdays, and our server made it special by bringing them both chocolate cake and whipped cream. The drinks were great, the service was great, the parking was challenging as always!

Yelp
The food is OK. If you have a shellfish allergy, it is minimal what you can eat here. The atmosphere is beautiful and comfortable.
google avatar

Jayni P.

Yelp
The aesthetics of this place is amazing. I just love sitting at the bar and drinking my drink and eating my appetizers. The blackened tenderloin steak bites are amazing and so flavorful. The expresso martinis are also nice.

Yelp
I celebrated my birthday it was amazing. The food, service, and the ambiance is exceptional. Everything looked and tastes delicious. The piano player makes the ambiance top notch. I would recommend this establishment and will be returning for more. Thank you for your excellency.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant...great photo opportunities throughout especially by the bathrooms! Fun and lively atmosphere with live music. Older crowd. I've had great experiences in the past but just went recently on a Friday night and left feeling disappointed. We sat by the bar and were immediately greeted by one of the bartenders who helped us find a few open seats. I have nothing bad to say about the bartenders, service and drinks were good. I ordered a pomegranate martini and it was delicious, a little sweet but well made. Unfortunately, when the food came things changed. We ordered several sides/appetizers...calamari, stuffed shrimp, macaroni and cheese, and brussel sprouts. We only liked the brussel sprouts. Everything else tasted stall like it was reheated and sat out for a while. I usually love the stuffed shrimp but it didn't taste fresh. Macaroni was probably the biggest disappointment, it had no flavor or seasoning. Then to top it off the live music sounded more like a karaoke night. Not a good time but will try again because it's been better...

Yelp
Our waitress was nice, food was delicious and tasty. Its gives a cozy and relaxing vibe and I love the live singer they have. That was amazing.

Yelp
Not an expensive, but an excellent staff and very high-quality food with unusual dishes

Yelp
Wonderful place for date night or night with friends. I came here with my Disney run group, so there was six of us total. It was a Tuesday night and our reservation was for 7, although I bet you will still be seated without a reservation. The restaurant is beautiful, every time I come I'm reminded how gorgeous this decor is. We started with the Shishito Peppers (which is a must get) and the Pistachio Crusted Brie. The brie was also very good, but since my husband is allergic to pistachios I'm only able to get this with friends. For my main I got the Short Rib Cavatelli after having food envy when my friend got it last time. I think this is a winner for me, the pasta tastes homemade and I short rib is tender. I brought half of it home and it still tasted great the next day. I also got a side of the corn, which I didn't love as much as I did last time. I think in the future I can pass. Shishito peppers and Short Rib Cavatelli will be my go-to order. I got a dirty martini with vodka for my drink and it was pretty good. I'm not mad about it, but they do have a fun looking drink menu, so I'll consider ordering off the menu next time. For dessert we got chocolate chip cookies. They come with four to a plate. We got two servings, since there was six of us, but they are pretty big cookies. It was a little too sweet for me, so I would probably forgo it. Parking is easy, service is great, this is definitely a solid choice for dinner.

Yelp
Reservation was for 4pm and arrived 6 minutes before and was told we don't open till 4pm, seemed a bit bizarre for me. On a good note, the waitstaff was friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. The cocktails were good. We ordered Oysters Rockefeller, Ribeye, Short Rib, Bucatini with Garlic Parmesan Sauce. Creamed Corn, Spinach and Lobster Pappardelle and Burgers. Everything came out timely and hot with it all being very tasty and well presented. I would put this restaurant on par with many restaurants in and around Water St.

Yelp
Our go to is the family bundle for four dinner. Pasta carbonara, pork chops extra chutney with Sacred Pepper heart salad. Chocolate cookies for dessert. Food is always delicious and ready on time.

Yelp
I've never had a bad meal here. The deals on Monday where you get to choose between and appetizer, a main course, and dessert are awesome and you get a lot for your money here. A must try if in the area. Try to get a table a little spaced out though as the tables are close together and it can get loud

Yelp
In my book, Sacred Pepper is doing more than a few things right! I have dined in the more intimate but boisterous dining room (a while back when I was pregnant in October 2020) but most recently enjoyed an evening at the bar with a girlfriend. The bar area offers a lively, musical atmosphere, with lots of comfort, and endless pouring of beer, wine, and other libations. The meatballs with ricotta were a delicious appetizer, and the Margherita pizzette was a winner for the price point. My friend enjoyed an expensive steak (presumably filet) with Brussels and something else as a side. I was especially appreciative of the staff who didn't mind that I was uber picky with my wine. The bartender poured out at least one full 9 ounce glass since I was silly enough to order something without sampling it first. She didn't give me a hard time about my change in order based on the taste, and I happily enjoyed the alternative (nicer) red wine that I opted for. The experience at Sacred Pepper was more than memorable so I will definitely be back soon to try more of the menu!

Yelp
Follow up review. Went two different times for birthdays on the weekend in the evening. Absolutely have fallen in love with this place. The inside is always so aesthetically pleasing, but after three visits.... there has not been one bad thing. They have exceeded expectations repeatedly. The weight staff is very young, but beyond their years. Everyone we have had has been very knowledgeable, friendly, and a pleasure to have. The veal Milanese is incredible, brought my dad there specifically for that, he said he has not been able to have a decent veal meal for quite a while. He absolutely raved about it. We got a fig and prosciutto pizzette ... I cannot even describe it... that is how good it was. Drinks were on point! Live music in the evenings, on the weekends. Fantastic food, fantastic atmosphere, fantastic service. It has become one of my faves. Side of macaroni and cheese... incredible! Crab, crusted, halibut special, absolutely delicious. And the chocolate pecan cobbler ice cream thing should be illegal!

Yelp
Amazing place with a lovely atmosphere! We wanted to try someplace new to celebrate our anniversary & happened upon Sacred Pepper. We started out with cocktails. I chose the Morning in Italy, which was a mix of limoncello, Prosecco, & mint. Very refreshing! For an appetizer we shared the Baked Lobster Stuffed Shrimp which was a true delight! We then shared a Cesar salad topped with fried capers which was small but very good. Our server then brought us a fresh bread plate to enjoy while we waited for our entree's. Since I couldn't decide which entree to choose, our server suggested we order a single Baked Lobster and Crab Rotolo to share as a side. The rotolo was a light homemade crepe filled & topped with lobster, crab, & ricotta and had a velvety cream sauce. Delicious! For entrees we enjoyed the chicken Parmesan that was accompanied by homemade penne pasta. Their marinara sauce was also homemade and very good. Although we did not do the special menu tonight, I would like to note that Mondays have a special discounted menu that allows you to have basically a full course meal for only $20-$25 and that is very much a bargain! I should mention that service was very good, with nice spacing between courses. We'll be back soon!

Yelp
Everything was so delicious. We got the pork chop, chicken, sea bass and pesto pasta and all of it was 10/10!!! My brother said it was the best pork chip he had ever had. Our waitress Gracie was amazing.

Yelp
The Sacred Pepper restaurant offered a decent dining experience. The service was satisfactory, although there was a slight hiccup when inquiring about specialty martinis. The food was acceptable and The restaurant's design was well put together very grey. I would love to return to sample their desserts, although the steak bites were made well done, their wasnt an option on temperture either, they took quite a while to eat and were a bit bland. The pesto cream pasta, unfortunately, lacked a rich flavor profile. I sampled my partner's dish and found the meat to be cooked perfectly. However, the pear and raisin topping gave me the feeling of being at a Thanksgiving dinner - delicious, yet uniquely unexpected... The Espresso Martini is perfect for those who prefer a robust liquor flavor, but wasnt smooth enough for my taste.

Yelp
I love Sacred Pepper from the food, drinks and the ambiance everything is on point! They offer an amazing ladies night menu on Thursdays with drinks and light bite options! Perfect place for a date night or to grab dinner with friends! The food is phenomenal! I tried the crab cakes last night for the first time and they did not disappoint. The fried Brie appetizer is one of my absolute favorites as well. The bartenders make great (STRONG) drinks! Restaurant is elegant and nice change of scenery. Def try this place out if you are in the Carrollwood area (North Dale Mabry)!

Yelp
Our waitress was excellent and I wish I could remember her name! We came for a girls night bday dinner and all 7 of us had a fabulous round booth in the back corner of the bar. The ambiance in here is immediately a great vibe for quiet drinks, an intimate dinner or a celebration. We all had delicious cocktails to start and a few of the apps. The Brie and steak bites were probably my favorites, but the Buffalo cauliflower was good too! Complimentary bread looked fantastic and came with a subsided tomato pesto looking oil/topping. We had a wide range of entrees, but I was impressed with the flexibility to adjust toppings/side dishes and his delicious and fresh each item was. We tried a few desserts and the bread pudding stole the show. I am already looking forward to coming back. Extra bonus- there was live music and the singer was SO GOOD!
