These majestic creatures gracefully poking their heads through the windows to join us for meals was a memory we will cherish forever. The attention to detail at Giraffe Manor is impeccable. Every aspect, from the sumptuous rooms to the delicious cuisine, was perfectly curated to ensure comfort and delight. Solio Camp: An Oasis of Wildlife and Tranquility Before our stay at Giraffe Manor, we ventured to Solio Camp, a hidden gem nestled in a private conservancy. Solio Camp offers unparalleled opportunities for wildlife viewing, particularly rhinos, lions, and other iconic species. The game drives were expertly guided, offering not only thrilling encounters with wildlife but also insightful knowledge about the ecosystem. The camp itself is a sanctuary of peace and luxury. Beautifully appointed accommodations, gourmet meals, and breathtaking views ensured every moment was memorable. The Solio team’s commitment to conservation and sustainable tourism added an inspiring layer to the experience. Exceptional Hospitality: John and Vincent What truly elevated our trip was the warm, genuine hospitality extended by John (our driver at solio) and Vincent (at the manor). These two remarkable individuals went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. From anticipating our every need to sharing fascinating stories about the region, their kindness and dedication added a deeply personal touch to our journey. John and Vincent’s warmth made us feel like cherished guests and left us with hearts full of gratitude. Giraffe Manor and Solio Camp offer more than just a safari; they provide an immersive, life-changing experience. Booking the safari collection was the best choice possible. We had very high standards but they somehow exceeded them. We were met at the gate and walked through customs in a priority line. We were driven everywhere we needed to go. The giraffe manor was gorgeous and the level of service and the food was amazing. Every meal was 3 courses and incredible. Petting the giraffes was such a highlight. We also went to Solio and Sala and were picked up and guided through the airport. We were laughing because the last time we carried our bags was when we carried them into the USA airport. During our time in Kenya we never touched them because there was always someone there happy to help. I think the combination of solio and Salas was perfect. The rhinos and private experience at solio was incredible but Salas offered the opportunity to see elephants and more lions. It’s not cheap but every single penny felt worth it

I travel a lot and my experience with the safari collection is by far one of my favorite. I can’t wait to go back. We stayed one night at Giraffe manor and 3 nights at salas camp! The comfort, the food, the service, the attention to detail, it is all mind blowing. I was hesitant to stay at a “tent” but this is a very luxurious space with your very own pool overlooking the Serengeti.

We stayed at Solio, Sasaab and Giraffe Manor. This trip has been a highlight of all my travels so far. The people went above all expectations at all the lodges. Nothing was ever too much to ask for. The facilities at all three lodges were very different from each other, which I loved. The culture experience at Sasaab was a complete highlight!

We did a safari with The Safari Collection, staying at Sasaab, Sala’s Camp, and Solio before finishing with a night at Giraffe Manor. The safari accommodations, food, and guides were top notch, as well as the overall logistics/transport and I already want to do another safari with them the next time we return to Africa. Giraffe Manor was a unique experience, although a bit staged. Glad we did the Manor (and recommend it), but I don’t feel the need to do it again next time we come.

The most incredible holiday experience. 7 of us were holidaying together and we unanimously agreed it was above and beyond our expectations (and our expectations were high!!) Giraffe Manor was incredible from the moment we arrived until our departure. Lunch, high tea, dinner and of course the most amazing bucket list breakfast shared with the resident Rothschild giraffes was wonderful. Next stop Sasaab Camp in Samburu. What a beautiful haven. Very large rooms with a plunge pool for each room. Staff were great and organised a surprise bush BBQ dinner for us as 2 of our group share a same day birthday. There was a lantern lit path that led to a fire pit and table and chairs set up and a wonderful meal and drinks served. It was a truly magical night under the stars. A birthday dinner to remember forever. Thank you to the Manager for organising such a special surprise for us. The night will stay with us forever. Meals were fabulous, varied dishes with fresh produce grown onsite. Bush breakfasts were a treat. We saw an abundance of wildlife and saw the Special 5 on 2 different occasions on games drives. Next stop was Sala's Camp in Masai Mara. Another magical experience. We saw the Big 5 on numerous occasions (highlight a rhino with her baby). We saw so many animals close up - it was thrilling. Again food sensational, accommodation terrific and being in the heart of the park a bonus. Sundowners were a special treat. One evening on our way back to camp our sundowner experience was drinks and hors-d'œuvres served from an old converted jeep turned into a cocktail bar. A special treat on top of a hill watching a sunset that took your breath away. We could not fault anything with our safari. The staff were all incredible, helpful and great people. The daily guides and spotters were knowledgeable, engaging and really knew the park and best vantage points for animal viewings. We had privileged front row seats to the breathtaking,exciting and majestic African wilderness and wildlife. Thank you to the Safari Collection and your amazing staff for your efforts and flawless attention to detail.
