The Sage Hotel

A great place to stay for a a great rate. Nothing crazy but just what you need. I had left something very important in the hotel and was too far away to turn around so they found it, packaged it and shipped it to me, despite me constantly calling asking about it. Very nice staff who helped me and made sure my items were safe. Would recommend this place to others!

I have stayed here on 2 occasions, both over my birthday for a getaway and really enjoyed myself. I was ready to book again, Santa Fe is so personal o'er the Winter season without traffic and mobs of people on the sidewalks. Both occasions I have had a room with an adjoining door with neighbors seemingly having TV on loud. I made a recent inquiry on their site if they had rooms without this concern to no reply. I also wrote them after the prior occasion if glasses had been found. ||I am disappointed neither inquiry generated any response. I work in a hospital and am looking for a quiet place for a getaway, not to have to try and sleep with noisy neighbors. Non-withstanding the 'door situation', I love the grounds, proximity to the Plaza and the breakfast. I find the [property a good value overall. My only recommendation is to request a room in the back of the property as the noise from Cerillos Rd. pretty formidable, with more loud mufflers than heard in any other community.

Pillows and mattress were hard. Extra blanket would have been nice. Carpet looked dirty and floor was cold. Lamps and phone chargers on bed wall did not work. Heard noise from other rooms. One night stay and won’t book again.

The hotel is actually a two-story motel (no elevator) with several buildings on the property. The location is excellent, walking distance to numerous restaurants and the railroad district. You could walk to the Plaza too, but a shuttle bus goes there every hour, just let the front desk know when you want to go. The room itself (a king bed) was decent, but had only one chair. There was room to add another chair if the bed was moved over a bit. There was also a lack of electrical outlets in the place you might want one (like for a CPAP) so do bring an extension cord. I was very impressed with the hot breakfast, I wasn't expecting that. There is plenty of room in the dining area, unlike at some hotels. I found the hotel quiet enough, and the bed was comfortable. The front desk people were very helpful with some issues I had that were not hotel-related, and I appreciated their assistance. Overall, I would definitely consider staying at the Sage again on my next trip to Santa Fe.

For the price, this place is hard to beat! I have stayed twice and enjoyed it each time. The location is excellent and the rooms have all the essentials with even a really fun aesthetic.

Overpriced even at 90 a night. I can hear EVERY word through the walls as well people tromping around above. Dog rooms are now only on bottom level. DONT stay here on a weekend! Poorly built old motel gussied up slightly but still a crappy old motel. Was told I would be put in a quiet room but not so!

Staff/management extremely nice. Breakfast was great. Social club was fun and food was good The rooms were very comfortable. The only thing that prevented me from giving 5 stars is the rooms could have been cleaner, the floors were very dirty.

A wonderful hotel and restaurant/bar. Bring your swimsuit, too, for the compact yet perfect pool. The center of the primary parking lot has pleasant picnic tables shaded by a small grove of trees, a nice area to sit and enjoy your morning coffee before hitting the road. The free breakfast is one of the best that I have ever found and offered quality food, a rarity these days. My room was just right and had a powerful shower with endlessly hot water. Yummm....
