Won't be staying here again. The Internet for the TV didn't work in our room- had to use my phone hotspot. They did refund some money for that. The thermostat kept switching to heat (78°) randomly. When we told the front desk, they said it's because they aren't busy on the days that we were there, so it's pre-programmed. That shouldn't matter. It's a hotel and should be prepared for ANY day of the week. The tiles in the bathroom were wobbly with the grout coming out. The toilet has an awful screaming sound upon flushing. The ac vent made an awful rattling noise that could still be heard with the fan we brought with us to drown out sounds. On our last morning, we were leaving to walk down the street to get coffee and decided to check the key card (at around 8:30 am) and they had already been deactivated. Check out is 11:00. It's a cute, quaint little town and enjoyed visiting the places we did that weren't closed because hardly anything is open until Wednesday.

We love old, historic hotels and have stayed in our fair share of them, but this one doesn't cut it. I'm sure it had charm at one time, but somewhere along the way, they just quit trying. Everything is worn and tattered, from the carpeting in the hallways to the furniture and decor in the rooms, to the lobby and the dingy paint on the walls. The bath towels were tiny, slightly bigger than a hand towel. The only charming thing about this place is the swanky cocktail lounge on the ground floor, which we were looking forward to spending time in. However, it was closed for a private party the day and night we stayed. It seems like that might have been something they could have shared with us when we booked. I'm generally not a complainer, but at prices that are up there with luxury hotels, this was a huge disappointment. Don't waste your money.

Such a cute, quaint hotel. Room 302 is haunted. Our friend stayed in that room. Some eerie sounds and a strange glow in the window. Fun times! The night staff are very patient and kind. We pushed our limits and they were better to us than we deserved. Thank you!

This was our first time staying at the St. George Hotel in Weston, although we have been to Weston several times for weekend getaways. I give this hotel two stars only for the excellent location and fascinating history. It was also reasonably clean. The location is perfect, within a short walking distance of O’Malley‘s, shops, and restaurants. The hotel dates to the 1840s and has a rich history. However, that’s where the positives end. |The rooms are extremely outdated. The furniture is shabby and cheap and looks like it was purchased at a garage sale. The paint on the walls is chipped in many locations and there are screws in the walls and empty spaces where pictures once hung. The carpet is worn and frayed in some areas. The bath towels are not much bigger than hand towels, rough, and thin. Overall, the room was dark and unattractive. It’s a real shame because this could be such a cute historic hotel with an investment in paint, carpet, and decor. The total for our room was $210 including tax. Far too high for the quality of the room. You’re much better off spending another $20-$40 to stay at a cute local B&B where you will also get a delicious breakfast.

Rooms are dated but our bathroom had been renovated. Absolutely the perfect place to stay and walk to everything. The lady at the desk was very nice and informative.

Google
This hotel has gotten some terrible reviews and this won't be one of them. I've stayed at the St. George several times and have had a good experience each time. While dated, the room was clean and suited our needs. The attached hotel lounge is charmingly decorated with great ambiance. And you can't beat the location!

Google
Staff very nice. Hotel is very accessible for my daughter in her wheelchair. Love it.

The room has tall ceilings and great ambiance, as it was once lodging for the river boat captains. It’s worn, but I would stay here again. The room has WiFi, a coffee maker, and TV.

Yelp
The Royal Deluxe - Weston, MO** From the brilliant culinary minds of Nick and Andrea Martinkovic -- the duo behind the much-missed Noah's Cupboard -- comes **The Royal Deluxe** at The St. George Hotel in Weston, MO. If you've been longing for that same inventive, intimate, and inspired dining experience, here it is... but this time with a soulful, Italian-inspired twist. This isn't your run-of-the-mill Italian joint. The menu is limited, but that's because everything is crafted around what's **fresh, seasonal, and locally available**. Expect change -- and welcome it. Chef Nick's inspirations show up on the plate, and if you have a request or want a tweak, he's often happy to riff on a dish for you. This is creative cooking with both heart and skill. **The Feast:** * **Tagliatelle with Sausage, Tomatoes, and Homegrown Basil** - Fresh, silky pasta coated in a luscious, velvety sauce, studded with sweet cherry tomatoes and crowned with creamy ricotta and fragrant basil. * **Pizza Extraordinaire** - A charred, thin-yet-chewy crust with rich tomato sauce, melty cheese, and basil that tastes like it was just plucked from the garden. * **Caesar Salad** - Crisp romaine piled high with a snowy drift of finely grated cheese and a dressing that's perfectly balanced -- tangy, savory, and addictive. * **House-Made Stracciatella with Local Fresh Peaches & Basil** - Summer on a plate. Sweet, juicy peaches with delicate, creamy cheese and bright basil leaves -- the perfect sweet-salty-herbal trifecta. * **Arancini with Peaches & Cream** - Golden, crispy risotto balls paired with silky cream and tangy pickled peppers for a surprising twist. * **Toasted Homemade Bread with Compound Butter** - Simple, but utterly perfect. The butter is rich, silky, and kissed with olive oil and herbs. * **Cheesy Bread with Herbs** - Comfort food elevated, with gooey cheese, fresh herbs, and a satisfying crunch. * **Italian Green Olives** - Briny, fresh, and bursting with flavor -- a perfect nibble between bites. * **PEI Mussels in Dunkable Garlic Butter Sauce** - Plump, tender mussels bathed in garlicky, buttery heaven, served with bread to soak up every drop. And don't miss their **artisanal espresso** -- a rich, velvety shot that proves their attention to detail extends right down to the last sip. **Bottom line:** The Royal Deluxe is worth the trip to Weston all on its own. It's a place where the food is thoughtful, the flavors are bold yet balanced, and the experience feels like you've stumbled upon a hidden gem -- because you have.

Yelp
When we are on a trip, my idea of a hotel is a central place to shower and sleep for a reasonable price (our price for a week night was total $96). This hotel was perfect for our needs. It was in a great location within 2 blocks of the popular O'Malley's, across the street is a great restaurant Tin Kitchen and other shops and bars near by. The hotel has it's own lounge. Our bed was the old box spring style. Shower water was hot and our room was heated to a comfortable temp. We were on the street side and could hear people getting in / out of their cars but we were tired enough that it did not interrupt our sleep. The downtown community is very old and kept up and not renovated so if you are expecting fancy then this may not be your place. I thought it was a good place to stay.

Yelp
I hate leaving a nasty review but you should not stay here! 100% do an air bnb or bed and breakfast. One star for friendly service. They were very helpful! And one star for the location. It's prime! However, there is mold in the common area off of the elevator (photo attached) and the hotel smells damp and dusty. Our air conditioning didn't work upon arrival but was fixed promptly. They need to call Servpro for the mold and get new bedding.
google avatar

Yelp
Pros - location right on Main Street where you can walk to restaurants, local shops and bars. Staff were friendly. Cons - WiFi doesn't work on 3rd floor, spiders, needs paint plus hair in shower when we arrived.

Yelp
Great room and location. Nothing too fancy but very old school cool vibe. Great food options just down the road.

Yelp
Great location right on Main Street! There were at least 2 restaurants within walking distance. I'm not sure if it was the ongoing pandemic or not, but there didn't seem to be much else going on in town. I don't like to mix politics with pleasure, but if you're a trump/pence supporter, you'll feel right at home in town. There were many prominently displayed trump/pence signs hanging from houses in town. I feel confident if there was an attempted terror attack, there would be several patrons with concealed weapons to quickly diffuse the situation. All of the walls and ceilings in our room and bathroom were a sort of baby poo brown which we didn't really like at first. Ultimately, I think the dark/dingy color palette maybe helped with sleep. I almost knocked it down to a 4 star rating because the walls were extremely thin, and you could clearly hear other occupants' conversations in many of the other rooms in the hotel. Luckily, it turned out to be a good thing because we had some interesting neighbors with funny conversations. Another plus was not one bug or mouse seen while we were in the room!

Yelp
Stayed one night last weekend. Overpriced for sure. Room had mold and was stuffy. Woke up with horrible sinus issues and sore throat due to my mood allergy. Had to even turn on air conditioner in January to try to get rid of the mold smell. Rooms need updated desperately. Location was great- staff good( no need to use other than check in and out)- beds ok. Would I stay again? Nope.

Yelp
We stayed while in town for a wedding and had a good experience. I will say, the price of the room for the smallest room on the planet was a bit shocking, but it was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The bar downstairs was a great place to go after the wedding and the pizza was pretty legit! I would stay here again if need be. The walking distance to all of the quaint Weston shops can't be beat.

Marsha R.

Yelp
This is not the place to stay if you are looking for something "decent". The rooms are awful. Nothing matches, curtains don't cover windows, drawers don't work, ugly sitting table with chairs that don't match, etc.etc. -- we paid $198 per room!!!! The founders suite is NOT a suite but rather a very ugly room. The rooms should be $50 at the most. Horrible wifi. The lobby is "okay," but that is stretching it! Looking at the outside of the building, you would think it would be quaint and classy - NOPE...just the opposite. Totally ripped off for the price. Maybe it isn't always $198 a room but it was in November.

Yelp
This is an old hotel so if you want new and modern don't stay here. However, everything was very clean except for the air vent on the ceiling. I stayed on the third floor-room 306 snd the walk in shower had hot water with good pressure. There were a couple chips in the paint on the wall and the room was painted a somewhat dark mustardy yellow. However, I sleep very well on the queen size bed and appreciated that the room was dark so I could sleep in. Walls are thin but no one was loud when we stayed. We got a complimentary local wine or beer at the Hotel's bar. The bartender was fun and friendly as were both of the front desk staff we met.The biggest perk of this hotel is its location though...right smack on Main Street.
google avatar

Colleen S.

Yelp
Hotel is a great place to stay. Just make sure not to get makeup on the wash clothes or you will be charged $10. No signs posted anywhere about this charge. Isn't this why I paid $136 for a single queen bed. Not impressed and will dispute that charge

Yelp
Literally the worst place I have ever stayed at. While the building is old I would have expected much better conditions in the rooms. I am sitting here at 3:30 in the morning wishing there were someplace else to go. My hip is bruised from the very lumpy bed and there is not even a decent chair to sit in. The room is very sparse with basically a bed and a TV and that is it. The shower was decent but oddly the door was placed on the wrong side so you couldn't open it all the way as it hit the toilet. There was also an odd smell in the room that we could not identify. The only great thing about this hotel is it's location as it is squarely in the middle of downtown Weston. The bar was good with decent prices. However while we were required to wear masks the workers were often not wearing theirs while chatting with each other and others, likely locals. We didn't have any food. I do not recommend staying here.

Yelp
I stayed here over the weekend for a girl's trip and the owner and his wife/staff were so nice and accommodating! Something got messed up with our online reservation so he gave us a free room and paid for someone else to stay at a bed & breakfast to make sure everyone had a place to sleep. It definitely makes me want to work with them in the future ! We ate dinner & breakfast in the hotel. It was great because we had a group of 7 and never had to wait for a table. The food wasn't fancy but it was good and well priced. Just what we were looking for. They also kept the bar open late enough so we could have a drink after we closed down O'Malleys. The rooms aren't fancy but they were clean and nicer than I was expecting. All in all it's great for a low maintenance, fun Weston weekend. We will be back!

Jill C.

Yelp
The hotel manager was a jerk! Telling nine paying couples to get out of the lobby when we weren't causing any issues. It wasn't even late and no harm was being done but this douche bag had to ruin our fun! The room is over priced for what it is and they better be thankful for their location otherwise they wouldn't be in business with their conditions and overly RUDE staff!!!!!

Yelp
I give this place a solid four stars for their delicious pizza and fair menu prices. I enjoyed a hand-rolled pizza (supreme) and local-brewed beer in the hotel's restaurant/bar area. Pizza was excellent. It's a thinner crust, with the perfect amount of crunchy and chewiness, and just the right amount of toppings. And, they make the dough there and hand roll for each order fresh. Bravo to the kitchen. Restaurant has plenty of seating for chilling out and people watching in the town and a large bar w/ additional seating. I came on a Sunday so it was pretty quiet but, apparently Friday's and Saturdays are crazy busy. Bartender also mentioned occasional live music in the bar area. Customer service was good, too - the bartender John was cool and gave me some tips about the local area, since I'm not a local. I'll def be returning for another pizza, and to check out their breakfast menu - home-made biscuits and gravy...yes please.

Yelp
Hairy sheets!! Room with 2 queens for girls weekend. I knew the place was super old and I expected age, wear and tear. When I pulled back covers there were about 5 long dark hairs on pillow and a couple on the sheets. We thought for a minute about bunking up since it was late but when we pulled back sheets on other bed...a hair. Luckily we found someone to begrudgingly change sheets and I never regret bringing my snuggie. Ew.

Yelp
Laid back and friendly. The bar serves the locally produced brew and sits in the center of this town locked in a moment in time. Basic room without many bells and whistles, but you should not spend all your time hanging out with the television. The entire town is within walking distance of pleasant views and four to five bars with unique personalities. I recommend this hotel and town for a weekend night of fun, beer, food and music.

Yelp
Clean, relaxing and quiet. We had an end room, so I wasn't sure if hall noise would keep us up, but it didn't. Although the cost was a little high, almost $200 for Saturday night, it was an enjoyable stay. Besides the bed and breakfasts, it is the only place to stay in town. It's also right in the middle of the historical district. The lobby bar is pretty nice, but they only have the local brews available. The pizzas looked great, although we didn't partake. I can tell that this town can get a little rowdy, a lot of college kids were there partying. No one got out of hand, which was good. I do see it becoming a more 'college' getaway in the upcoming years, and speaking with some of the store owners, it is becoming that way already....As someone on a romantic weekend with their spouse, there were less people like us, and more 'kids' with open containers out on the street and in the hotel. Can't say if I will be back to Weston again and spend the night, just because it can get a little expensive on a weekend. Overall, I'd stay again, and I'd reccomend the St.. George to others passing through the area.

Yelp
We stayed in Weston for my sister's wedding. Happy we choose the St. George Hotel. Staff was accommodated our entire family. Made us all feel at home. Food is delicious! My favorite is the specialty coffee bar. Best mocha I have had. Thanks to all the staff for making my sisters wedding weekend special!

Yelp
We stopped by the bar in the Saint George Hotel during Apple Fest weekend. Although it was pure chaos due to the crowds, still there was little to no organization in the bar area - service was almost at a halt. When we did end up getting someone, we quickly ordered 4 slides of pizza and a wine. The pizza was dry due to it sitting in their pizza warmer but that was expected as we wanted something fast. What was not expected is when we received the bill and they had charged us $5 per slice! Seriously, $20 for 4 small pieces of subpar pizza?! Ridiculous! Not worth your time.
google avatar

Andrew D.

Yelp
Stopped in here for a night cap after a few drinks around town. It was a Friday night so it was surprising that we were the only ones there. Had some more of the local brews and ordered a hand rolled pizza. Green olives weren't in the menu but they took some from the bar to put on my pizza! It came out hot and was clearly handmade. I've never had a better $6 pizza after midnight in my life. Not sure about the rest of the menu but they give me reason to come back.
google avatar

Yelp
Huge biscuits and gravy. Perfectly cooked bacon eggs done just right. Great morning meal with a small cocktail.

Cayce S.

Yelp
The rooms are small but comfortable and clean. Nothing exceptional. The restaurant has a wonderful menu and at breakfast the pancakes and eggs Benedict were superb and very reasonably priced. Great experience here. The hotel side is a bit over priced for what you get but when you're the only hotel option on historic downtown you can get away with that. Other options are B&Bs.

Janice B.

Yelp
I stayed here because this hotel was located close enough to the Kansas City airport to be convenient for me to pick up my sister early in the morning when her flight arrived from Alaska. However, it is down some decidedly rural roads, and even though I had printed out instructions from Google, I had to stop and ask for better instructions from a kindhearted local. Weston is a cute little town, and the hotel was rustic but in reasonably good condition. I did encounter a poisonous violin spider in the bathroom, which was a little creepy to think about when I was trying to fall asleep that night! Lots of light coming through the slats in the blinds didn't make it easy to sleep, either. Something that darkened the room a little more would have been much appreciated. I didn't get a chance to try the food, so I can't report on that. Would have loved to get breakfast, or even a coffee, but I had to leave just before they opened in the morning! The worst issue that I had was with reservations. I had made an online reservation the afternoon before, using the hotel's own website and reservation system. After I had made the reservation and paid for it through the website, the site gave me a message that said the reservation was not confirmed until I received an email from the hotel. Well, the hotel never did send that email. Since I was driving across country, I called the next morning at 8:00 a.m. to be sure that I actually had a reservation. I only reached an answering machine with a snarky message that went something like, "if this is an emergency, please call 911." When I had not received a callback by noon, I called and left yet another message, this time in some desperation. After all, I didn't want to arrive in Weston only to find that I didn't really have a reservation! Worse, the website when I made my payment had said that it was too close to the reservation date for me to receive a refund if I cancelled . . . so I was stuck in never-never-land. At 2:00 p.m., I called for the third time, and finally reached a live person. So . . . would I ever stay here again? Maybe, if I had a similar circumstance of needing to pick someone up at the airport early in the morning. But they certainly need a better reservation system, and it was more than a little frustrating that the manager couldn't be bothered to answer or return my calls. Actually, I had sent an email inquiry several days before the date I needed to stay there, and no one ever responded to that, either.

Yelp
We had the best experience here when planning our wedding! Bob was great to work with and made blocking rooms for our guests a breeze. We had a lot of family and friends travel into town for the event, and they all had nothing but great things to say about the location and service they received. We just had another great experience this weekend while celebrating our 1-year wedding anniversary. Thanks, Saint George & Bob!

Yelp
We stayed at the Saint George Hotel for one night just a few days before Christmas. We really liked the location. There was a lot of snow on the ground, so it was nice to be able to simply walk everywhere. The room was very simple but nice. I wouldn't ask for much more.
google avatar

Laura P.

Yelp
My friends and I have stayed here twice; once last October and again just this past weekend. The location doesn't get any better imo, it's right smack dab in the heart of downtown Weston. You may have to track down the front desk attendant, or wait a few minutes for someone to get behind the bar, but get over it. This isn't a Doubletree, it's a small hotel in a small town. They keep the bar open late for their guests and may even make you pizza after the kitchen is closed. Truly, the only downsides to staying here are the super low-lighting and lack of mirrors (just the one in the bathroom) in the guest rooms. Everything else is awesome!
google avatar

Yelp
the tub was huge, the room had a fireplace, and they left a six pack of their brews in the room for us upon check in. We spent most of our time at O Malley's that night, but it was great to come back to the huge jacuzzi tub. The room decor was just ok. There were two sinks, and the place was clean, but not updated. It had older sheets and blankets and the lights were hard to figure out, some were out of bulbs. This isn't a place for you if you want a granite and glitz. It's a historical hotel owned by a brewery that serves good food and booze. It's not going to be brand new, but has a lot to offer as far as the town, and the place is clean. For breakfast in the morning, the staff was amazing. They offered tylenol for the hungover of us and they even changed our order to bring it to the room when we decided we weren't ready for public. Even when sleeping an hour past checkout time, nobody bothered us. I really enjoyed staying there, very close to all the attractions.

Andrew H.

Yelp
We stayed here on a recent Saturday night as part of a trip to celebrate our anniversery in Weston. Overall I was really happy with our stay, with a few caveats. Pros- - Great location right in the middle of Weston...prehaps even even more convieniently located than many of the B&Bs in town. - Hotel has a chariming, old fashioned feel to it that compliments the whole Weston experience. - Price included free vouchers for breakfast at Charlemagne's the next morning. (The Sunday brunch is quite a spread - The hotel seemed to be in very good repair, and very clean. - Friendly, helpful staff. Cons- - Walls a little thin. No worse than many hotels, but perhaps not ideal for a place where many couples go for a romantic weekend. A little bit of sound proofing would go a long way. - At least for our room, it was a bit pricey. I was a bit late in making our reservation, so I ended up having to choose from the more expensive rooms and end up with a king suite. The layout of the suite was sort of odd, and the window overlooked the back ally and someone's back yard. Considering the price with tax was approaching $200 I had really hoped for more. I would definitely consider going back to the St, George, but probably only if I could book one of the cheaper rooms.

Yelp
Great great pizza and a fine beer selection as well. I recommend the supreme pizza and a great stout beer. Great atmosphere, ask about the hotel being haunted.

Yelp
The pizza restaurant was so delicious! Wonderful crust flavor and perfect amount of cheese & toppings. Super friendly staff and okay dinning environment. A great random lunch stop!

Yelp
Update: The Saint George Hotel (and the Inn at Weston Landing) is now owned by the Weston Brewing Company. And if the Saint George was an excellent place to stay before, it is even more so now. For starters, each room has a complimentary large bottle of speciality beer from the Brewery awaiting guests. Even better, the Hotel now offers pizza delivered to your room until 1am. There is also a small room service menu that I can't wait to try. There is even a small but very hip hotel bar that is open late on the weekends that serve specialty drinks, O'Malley's beer, wine, etc. I tried one of their specialty cocktails when my husband and I stayed the night on New Years Eve. It was scrumptious, different, and reasonably priced. During the day the bar serves first-class coffee and tea, any way you like it. The hotel also serves breakfast, either individually or as a buffet, as well as brunch. The Room Rates have changed a bit, but staying here is worth every penny: Queen Weekday rates - Sunday through Friday$89 King Weekday rates - Sunday through Friday$99 Queen rates - Saturday $119 King rates - Saturday $129 There are also Queen Doubles and Suites available. Now more than ever, The Saint George Hotel is my favorite boutique hotel in the greater Kansas City area.

Yelp
Great hotel. Clean rooms. Nice service. AWESOME pizza. Highly recommend and you can't beat the prices. Seriously you won't regret choosing this place!

Larry B.

Yelp
I would consider this a one star room. A very unkempt room with lots of stains on rugs, chair and information sheets. We had arranged for a noon checkout time but the housekeeper walked in on us anyway when we were undressed, in spite of the do not disturb sign! Probably not a pretty site for the housekeeper since we're sixty something's! Sheets are old and too small for the mattress, Analog TV was inoperable without remote and they couldn't provide the correct one. Bad lighting with lightbulbs out. The window was in disrepair due to woodrot. One towel was stained with grease stains. No quality control here with very inexperienced service folks. (They all would tell us they're new) Great location but too high$$$ for a one star.

Yelp
Friendly staff and great rates. Weston is a charming historic town that is the hidden gem of the Ft. Leavenworth area. I always stay here when on business at the fort. And the microbrewery is the icing on the cake

Angela J.

Yelp
This hotel was dirty, smelled horrible and very poor customer service. No fan in the bathroom, the only mirror was in the bathroom, and dirt on the vent in the bathroom. The beds were very uncomfortable. I do not recommend this place. $200 a night is ridiculous! Very disappointing.

Maura M.

Yelp
What a dump for the price... all B&Bs full and this place had 2 rooms available. With tax the room was over $200!! I'm so mad I paid that for such a crappy place.
google avatar

Jill S.

Yelp
****hole. 100%. Multiple people in our group booked a room with 2 queens, and got a room with 1 full. The "sofa pull out" was a health hazard and the "manager" had a make out session while serving us at the bar.

Janie R.

Yelp
The person who owns this hotel is not to be trusted. I contacted him over a year before my daughters wedding at a Weston venue. He assured me all rooms were available and he was the only person who could manipulate the reservations software that far in advance. This was going to be perfect since both sides were from out of town. Several weeks later he contacted me and informed me, oops computer glitch, sorry, there really are not any rooms. He then suggested I book the B&B's in town and would give me a discount on the B&B he owned. I will write a separate review on the B&B however, I can tell you he charged my family more than what was quoted for both of the B&B's and in one, they had to walk to his hotel for breakfast which was bad enough but when they arrived, they were told because they did not stay in the hotel, they did not get breakfast unless they paid an extra $20 which was already included in the room charge.

Maureen F.

Yelp
We booked this hotel for a family wedding and we were so disappointed. There was no mirror. Dresser, hangers, iron, fridge, reliable wi fi, and the list goes on. It is too bad because it could have been a great experience with just a little effort. the staff was friendly but the rooms were just missing too much. Instead of a complimentary beer in the room, how about some hangers and a full length mirror so we could actually get ready for the wedding. Try getting ready with no mirror...Also I have never been in a hotel that doesn't have a dresser. There was just too much missing and the location and "charm" did not make up for it. We often stay at boutique hotels so we don't expect all the things the chains have but be do expect to have maid service everyday and at least the basics. I get the impression that the owners just don't care.

Yelp
This hotel is quite pleasant. It is simple and quaint. I booked a room for two nights because my first choice was already full but I am really happy with my stay. The people were friendly and helpful, especially the manager guy he was doing every job, seemed a little stressed, but still didn't ever drop the ball in customer service. Anything they may have lacked (like a vending machine) they certainly made up for in person to person interaction. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Yelp
Our weekend in Weston was excellent. Shaun and his team were integral to our trip being so good. They went out of their way to provide the highest quality service. Upon our arrival our room was upgraded and we got the Captain's Suite. This room included a sweet view and large whirl-pool tub. The room was especially clean and ready right at 3pm. Unlike most hotels, boutique or commercial, the bed and pillows were comfortable. When asked for things to do and places to go, the staff had lots of options to explore. I would tell anyone who visited this fun, weekend-trip town to stay at the St. George.

Yelp
Great place to stay in the heart of downtown Weston, Building is over 150 years old, a very historic feel. My wife and I stayed here Jan of 2014 and had a great experience overall. Probably the only negative thing I could say is parking is just right out there on the street but...let's face it, there's not much rush hour traffic in Weston, MO.

Yelp
I recently spent St. Patrick's Day weekend in Weston with a group of friends, and we chose to stay in the Saint George Hotel due to its downtown location and close proximity to our main destination - O'Malley's Pub. For its hotel accommodations, I would give the Saint George Hotel 1 star at best. The rooms are outdated, the beds are uncomfortable, and in our room in particular, the walls and ceiling had huge cracks running through them that had been patched up but never finished with a new paint job. However, the strangest part of the room was the toilet, which refilled with steaming hot water when flushed. Needless to say, it made for an interesting bathroom experience. The only saving grace for this place is its bar area, which I would honestly give a 5 star rating. Great beer prices, tasty pizzas, and an amazing bartender whose cocktails would hold their own even in the "Big City." Truthfully, we enjoyed the hotel bar so much that we left O'Malley's early to come back and hang out the rest of the night there. In the future when I return to Weston, I will stay in one of the area B&Bs and just head to the Saint George Hotel for food and drinks.

Yelp
The service is really slow......and there was one other table. Didnt get the food I order and they still try to charge me for them. They spend more time talk to the locals then giving any good service. Food was below average

Yelp
This review is for the bar, which we found was almost the only thing open on a Friday at 3 pm in Weston. The sign on the door and the information on the menu both stated that they served pizza from 11-close. When we arrived there were 2 people in the room, 1 was sitting at the bar talking on his phone ordering beer (my husband and I figured he worked there since he was putting in an order). The 2nd was a female who was changing the channels on the big screen T.V. for basketball (March Madness). When we walked into the room the lady at the T.V. turned around and saw us walk in but didn't even acknowledge us, in fact finished what she was doing and walked behind the bar and began speaking with the guy on the phone. We chose table and sat, and waited, 5 min. 6min, 7 min??? Then a 3rd lady walked out from the back and set a HUGE salad in front of the man sitting at the bar(Salad was not a choice on the menu...I looked)...I thought "oh there's our waitress" then she disappeared to the back never looking up. 9 min, 10 min...then we got up and walked out. We decided that they really didn't want our money. We won't be back.
