Situated in the heart of a busy market near Mallital area, this 80-year-old pastry shop and confectionery offers a quiet escape from the surrounding hustle. Once you step inside, the noise fades, and you’re welcomed into a space that carries a gentle, old-world charm. The walls are lined with photographs that reflect the rich culture of Uttarakhand, adding character without overwhelming the space. The staffs are polite and welcoming. The shop is best known for its classic Swiss pastries and sweets, many of which have stood the test of time. They also serve a mix of Chinese and tandoori items, which adds variety to the menu. We had cold coffee with ice cream, americano, chocolate tart, tiramisu, cinnamon roll, blueberry cheesecake, lemon cheesecake, whole pineapple pastry, chocolate almond pastry and pan fried noodles. The pastries tasted good and were nicely made, though they leaned a little on the sweeter side. A touch less sweetness might help bring out the real depth of the ingredients and let the core flavors speak more clearly. The cheesecakes were well-made, creamy, and have a nice balance of flavor that’s easy to enjoy. Coffees were good as well as the noodles. Tariff wise the confectionery is slightly on the higher side. Overall verdict, it’s a place that blends heritage with comfort, and offers a break from the usual - a visit worth making if you’re in the area.

Flet a bit hyped. All times were extremely sweet that we had to leave half of it. The product should be lightly sweet so the consumer crave for more. Items were freshly prepared. Location is easy acess.

“Absolutely delicious pastries and cakes! Their blueberry cheesecake and chocolate éclairs are to die for. Must-visit for pastry lovers.” Sakley’s is a charming, old-world bakery and restaurant located on Nainital’s iconic Mall Road. Famous for its decadent desserts, especially the blueberry cheesecake, Banoffee pie, and chocolate éclairs, this place is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth. The Western-style main course dishes like chicken steak and pasta also receive praise for taste and presentation. The ambiance is warm, cozy, and nostalgic, with large windows offering a glimpse of the lake—perfect for a relaxed afternoon. While the service can sometimes be slow or indifferent, the food quality and setting usually make up for it. Prices are on the higher side, but many feel it’s worth the experience. Thanks to The Sakley’s Restaurant and Pastry Shop

Sakley is Famous for its bakery items especially pastry 🍰, whenever you go you'll not find it empty which shows that they serve good quality but you need to wait for the table sometime. Aesthetics are okay. We had some of their most loved pastries like cinnamon roll, carrot cake, brownie and tiramisu. Though all were good my personal favourite is cinnamon roll because it give you the kick of spice. Overall a good experience, I'll recommend you to visit once.

Its an old place but the food is average I had 3 dishes and I like none of the... I am a huge fan of chocolate eclairs but they serve cold and hard so I would say you can have normal bakery items elsewhere 😀

The place is overhyped, food is way below average. Pastry tasted as if they were actually baked in 1944, not fresh at all. Just imagine Chicken nuggets were the frozen ones, the only thing above average was the hot chocolate. The whole menu is overpriced for what they serve. Try lake side inn cafe, they have much better bakery items and food.

I ordered their chocolate truffle pastry. The sweetness was on point. They warm it up a little before serving so the pastry just melts in your mouth. It's a very old shop but very well maintained.
