The Salty Donut

Been on a sweets/pastry exploration lately and found another winner. Went a bit after 8 on a Sunday morning to the Tennyson location in Denver and didn't have to wait long. Being there so early meant there were some flavors not out yet, but I'm extremely happy with what I got. The pistachio cannoli doughnut was my absolute favorite of the bunch. Light and balanced flavor and even though not the traditional cannoli shell, they still managed to imitate the feeling of the overall dessert. The traditional was light and would likely satisfy the "not too sweet" folks. The brown butter and sea salt was a good cake doughnut. Got the doughnut holes for a kid and they were demolished before I could say enjoy. All in all, a definite try, especially if you're in the area.

This place is so great! I love the flavors of the donuts and how delicious they truly are. My friends and I got almost one of each and everything was so good. Everyone who works here is so nice and helpful! 10/10 recommend!

I usually order DoorDash from here all the time 🤣. This is 100% an incredible donut spot. The use of their “special dough recipe” really separates them from any of the other donut places I have gone to. The Banoffee donut is really a mind blowing one. Yuzu is a very strong flavor but it’s used perfectly in this versus it being overpowering (like I was expecting). A friend in Miami told me an about this place so many years ago because she worked there but it took a VERY long time for them to come to Colorado. Really cool they are here and I can taste the hype for sure. After ordering it like 10 times I decided I should leave a review.

We were sock in a positive way with this location! But Paul it’s the main reason our experience was so incredible he was kind patient and very friendly even with our two kids! He didn’t rush us out and the donuts was incredibly tasty and fresh ! Very different flavors and presentations out of this world l! Super clean the place and you can see everything how the prepare! Highly recommended and for sure we will coming back ! One more time thank you Paul you are pretty amazing !

Love this place! It’s a favorite place I’ve found since moving to Colorado and it never disappoints. I’m sharing photos from many visits but I want to mention I brought donuts for getting ready for my sisters wedding and everyone loved them! I think the ‘poptart-esque’ item was the crowd favorite but my favorite and amongst my top 5 donuts ever is the brown butter & salt! 😍 Also fun to note is they rotate their menu but have a variety of their staples all the time! For reference, I’m not a cake or cupcake girly I choose donuts!

Wife and I stopped here after dinner to grab hot tea and donuts for desert. Walking in the door, the atmosphere is very inviting with nice seating and a cool vibe. Staff was friendly and helpful with our selection. Quick easy process ! Tea was good and donuts were great ! We got a PB&J and a Samoa. We would certainly stop back and recommend others stop in as well.

Really sad about the donuts. They seem really cooked or something.. . .like old dry bread. Like really really firm. I guess I was thinking a nice soft plush bite, but not the case. Pop tart was the best. (soft, buttery and the strawberry filling was perfect) Glad I didn't pay the original price of $52. Yikes

After being recommended to go here by several friends, this place EXCEEDED all the hype. First of all, the vibes in here are awesome. Love the atmosphere and I noticed how incredibly clean and spotless everything was. Silas and Tyler were so friendly and went above and beyond to make our first experience memorable. They were warm, welcoming, and made 🔥 recommendations. I love that there are gluten free and vegan options. Can’t wait to come back here for coffee and more treats soon!
