The Salty Paw

We had a phenomenal experience with our pup who’s not so friendly with other dogs. Our usual DIY wash spot was packed. We called Salty Paw & was offered the closed off back room, super accommodating entry & exit. A special shampoo for our itchy guy was created & we’re so relieved to have a place that doesn’t make us feel awful for our dog not getting along with others & not bothered by a little extra maneuvering to make us all comfortable. Much appreciated.

Salty paws is the only place to go if you need your dog taking care of properly. They are fantastic ladies who work extremely hard and the facility is amazing. They trim my dog's nails for me and I get to give him a bath and it's an amazing experience. I love salty paws

Absolutely the best groomer I’ve ever taken my dogs to. Kayla did amazing with both my babies, they got a wash, nail trim and paw pad trim. She went out of her way to call me back later in the day to let me know she had availability and I brought them right to her. Outstanding experience and I couldn’t recommend the salty paw enough!!!

Today was our first day at the “spa”. I have a four month old puppy who needed some attention. Although we popped in without an appointment and the girl was in the middle of grooming, she was super helpful and kind. We will definitely be back!

I have been using Salty Paws for my dog for years. Miss Kayla is the best when take care of my Molly. I trust her and Molly Loves going to get her spa days each and everytime. Thank You!

Update 1/25: The best place in the area by far!!!! If you want a wonderful experience with your doggie, this is the place for nail trims and baths! They treat your dog with kindness and respect which is hard to find. I love The Salty Paw!!! Thank you ❤️ The Salty Paw treats my senior dog, Rosie, with care and she looks so clean and cute when I arrive to pick her up. The staff is polite and really listens when I tell them my dog’s needs for a successful experience. I have had bad luck at 2 other groomers since moving here in June so I am extremely grateful I found The Salty Paw!!!

We've been taking our FIVE dogs here for a couple of years. We were so lucky to have discovered Kayla because she was the only person who could cut our dogs nails! She is a kind soul and the dogs love her. All of the staff are super sweet. And they're open on Sunday! Five Stars all the way!

We have been coming here to have my German Shepherd's nails trimmed for over one year now. My dog is pretty difficult to work with. For some weird reason, she is very inconsistent with getting her nails trimmed. Sometimes she is very willing, and sometimes she fights every step of the way. Sometimes we are not able to keep a consistent schedule and even missing one or two nail trims can set my dog back in progress as far as her getting comfortable with regular trims. I am so appreciate appreciative of everyone here who has done nail trims for her because they are so patient with her and so willing to continue this battle with us. Because my dog's nails are black I am very uncomfortable with trying to cut them and grind them down myself. Their hours are very accommodating and location is convenient for us. Shop is always nice and neat and smells great. They even have an assortment of treats to buy your pup. From what I could see for all of the bathing services there, they have a variety of products for you to use for the self service bath. They have all of the grooming supplies you could need to give your dog a groom. Overall the facility and employees are absolutely great.

Kayla owns the business and you can tell she loves what she does! The memberships are really helpful - everything you need to give your dog an amazing bath is supplied!

The owner is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful! Wonderful experience- and get way to clean our dog who had a wonderful day at the beach.

I have been patronizing this establishment for almost two years now. I must bring to your attention though that they do not provide full grooming services for your pet. What they do provide (if desired) is a full wash service with nail trimming as well as grooming "touch up". They check and trim ears, face, feet and belly, and you can always request something and they will tell you if they will provide it.

These lovely ladies were able to book me in for a same day appointment for a nail trim for my fur baby that accommodated my work schedule last minute. Little did they know, he had a terrible fear of anyone trimming his nails, but they handled him with so much compassion and care and said he did wonderful!! I highly recommend and will be going back.

I wish I could give The Salty Paw 6 stars! I brought in my dog after finding fleas and not only were they super accommodating to fit me in last-minute, but they were so kind (to me AND to my dog, they were so sweet with him)! The girls working went above and beyond- they spent extra time making sure my pup was well taken care of, offered to help me get my kennel in and out of the car, and even sanitized the kennel for me so we didn't bring the fleas back home. I can't say enough- such an amazing experience!

I was so thrilled to find The Salty Paw. My snorkie, Gizmo, needs to be bathed 2 times a week and my back and knees just cannot take getting down and washing him in the tub. Taking him to a groomer is way too expensive for twice a week. But Salty Paw came to my rescue. They have elevated tubs and everything I need to keep Gizmo's skin and coat looking great. They have a monthly club program so I pay one one fee and can bathe him as often as needed. Kat, the owner is so nice and very helpful as are all the ladies there. It is very clean and all supplies are provided plus they have pet supplies and cute pet items in the shop. I definitely recommend the Salty Paw

We are new to Beaufort and have been here for about 1 1/2 years and have been coming to the salty paw for about the last 3-months now to get our pooches their nails trimmed. One is anxious and the other is a rescue, and so far they have been in such good hands the last two times we have been there. We always shop in-store for dog treats before leaving, and my dogs love them. Highly recommend.

We love the Salty Paw! They are so convenient, and we love using them over trying to wash our dog at home. They have everything you need plus more: easy to use tubs to make sure our golden retriever can't get out, brushes and combs, shampoos and conditioners, towels, and dryers. Everyone is always so kind, and if we ever need help with our pup, the staff is so quick to answer questions or help out!

I went to Salty Paw for the first time not really knowing what to expect of a self service pet bathing business. I was greeted in a friendly, patient, and very helpful manner. They explained the package and the add-on services, took me to the bathing stations, set everything up, gave me helpful bathing advice, and much more. I truly didn't need anything but my dirty little dog. I wish I had known about this years ago. No more bending over a tub to bathe a dog sand then cleaning up afterwards. It's all taken care of by Salty Paw. We also enjoyed some shopping in their boutique area. Well thought out business. The dog looked happy, clean, and fluffy. We will definitely revisit Salty Paw and take advantage of other services such as the nail trim. I definitely recommend Salty Paw for a pet self serve bathing experience!
