The Sanders - Helena's Bed and Breakfast

What an amazing place to day! Bobby and her family were really the cherry on top of a marvelous stay. The bed was comfy, cute rooms with nice furnishings. The place is just a few blocks from historic downtown and very walkable. We came to Helena for biking and Bobby let us store our bikes inside. We will stay here again the next time we come!

I can't express how much I loved staying here! Bobbi and Rock were so kind and accommodating. The mansion is beyond beautiful! And the breakfast was absolutely incredible! The best I have ever had at a bed and breakfast. I wish I could have stayed longer. We will be back for sure!

Yeah, another satisfied guest. We stayed 2 nights here. Our hosts Bobbie, Rock and Joe were wonderful. This location is great. Very safe and an easy walk to both the downtown areas and to some excluded running/biking trails.

We had a lovely stay at this historic venue. Our room was lovely. The hosts thought of everything, including chilled water in the room and a map of local dining establishment. Breakfast was tasty with a convivial conversation among all the guests.

We love Sanders bed-and-breakfast. Extremely well located, walkable to the downtown area, great accommodations, fantastic hosts. Bobby, and her son Joe are spectacular. Breakfast is outstanding. Joe is a great chef. Highly recommend staying here when in Helena

We checked in late in the afternoon and received help with our bags to Beth on the third floor.We were asked about our dinner plans and our wake up time. The room was adorable, totally furnished with antiques. The shower and WC were cleverly fit into the small space. |When we got up our morning beverages were outside our door.|Breakfast was in the dining room with the other guests. The hosts circulated making sure everything was just right and it was. The raspberry pancakes were amazing. They made a special batch for my lactose intolerant friend.|Couldn't have been nicer.

We only stayed one might but felt we had entered a different world. This is a beautiful historic house and it was a real treat to stay here. We couldn't take our eyes off all the wonderful furnishings and artefacts that made it so interesting.|Our room had an enormous shower and a wonderful bath and we slept very well.|We were able to walk into town for a nice italian meal and our hosts Bobby and Rock and other guests joined us for a delicious homemade breakfast which lasted hours as the conversation was great.

This gorgeous house is incredibly maintained and it gets even better as you see the rooms. Each room is filled with character and lovingly cared for. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming! We stayed in Beth's room which was 2.5 flights up and it was very comfortable. Bobbi immediately brought us a stainless steel container of ice water for the room which is such a thoughtful touch after we had been driving all day. Our hosts delivered to the room in a carafe outside the door, what a nice touch as well! We had a great time sitting on the porch watching people go by walking their dogs and enjoying the breeze. It is a beautiful tree lined neighborhood. Breakfast was hot and delicious and catered to gluten free, something I always appreciate. We will look forward to staying here again!

We have found our new home in Helena. We are from California and often visit our daughter, son-in-law, and grandson in Helena. We have tried several B&B's in Helena, and this is our favorite. Bobbi and Rock made us feel right at home. The home is charming. The room was clean and well stocked, the breakfasts were delicious, and we always felt well cared for. We will be back!

This place is an absolute gem, a Bed and Breakfast in a one of the famous historic mansions of Helena! Bobbi and Rock Ringling have created a cozy and memorable experience at their charming Bed & Breakfast. I stayed in the JP room (each one has it's own name), but took a peek at several others that my friends were in and each room is amazing and thoughtfully decorated in it's own special way. Homemade cookies out in the living room in the afternoon and a delicious homemade breakfast each morning. Bobbi & Rock also happily give valuable advice about what to check out and do in and around Helena with whether your looking for a nature experience or a town experience. I hope to make it back to Helena and stay at Sanders again soon!

I stayed at the Sanders a couple of weeks ago. I made the reservation on extremely short notice, i.e., walking up and knocking on the door. Fortunately there was vacancy that night and we had the place to ourselves. Wonderful furnishings, wonderful history, wonderful food. Wonderful neighborhood for a late evening stroll. Totally enjoyed.

Amazing experience - do not miss! Bobbi & Rock are the most gracious hosts. For us, Sanders B&B was a wonderful stopover with a well-appointed room and delicious breakfast. We loved the lore of the place, and took time to enjoy its history. The front porch is a welcoming spot for respite, and we could walk right down the hill to downtown. Perfect location.

Wonderful house, clean and comfortable, every room is just charming!! Bobbi and Rock are gracious hosts, and it was nice to sit and talk with them when we arrived. We enjoyed sitting on the porch relaxing in the evening. They also have many recommendations for places to eat dinner. Breakfast served was delicious! We will stay again if/when we return to Helena!

Gorgeous home, fabulous owners! My family stayed at this B & B the night of August 13, 2016, the beginning of a road trip through Yellowstone and several other gorgeous locations. My family consistently says this was their favorite place that we stayed on the whole trip. Bobbi and Rock were incredibly welcoming and offered interesting information about the city and about Montana generally. The breakfast included the best sausage and pancakes that I've ever had including a homemade choke cherry syrup that was amazing. When I left, I felt like I was leaving family. Can't imagine that there is any better place to stay in Helena (or anywhere, really), so if you are lucky enough to have the chance to stay here, don't pass it up.

One of the best places I have ever stayed. Beautiful home/mansion built in 1872 by Sanders family. Owners Bobbi and Rock Ringling are very helpful and gracious. Breakfast was scrumptious. Short, easy walk to historic downtown Helena. The walking mall has fun stares, taprooms and wine tasting rooms. Would definitely visit The Sanders if I return to Helena.

Sanders B&B is the best in Montana and maybe the best in the West! The attentiveness and friendliness of the owner-operators is superb. Not only does everything (Showers, baths, doors, lights, AC outlets, etc.,) work in this older, impeccably maintained, home, it's also tastefully decorated and immaculate. Sanders B&B is so good that it's worth going out of your way to stay there if you are anywhere near Helena, MT. Should also mention that the Sanders B&B is in a great location: a five minute walk away from the best restaurants, brewpubs, and wine bars in Helena. By the way, I didn't know this place or the people before staying there and I don't have a financial interest in this justified five-star review. It's great when you find a place that is wonderful and well-run. I heartily recommend staying here if you're in Helena for business (it is the state capitol) or if you're in the area for fly fishing the amazing rivers in the region.

I stay here every time I am in Helena. They have very comfortable rooms and amazing breakfasts!! Try the gingerbread waffles, they are delicious! I love staying here because it is like coming home and visiting old friends. Bobbi and Rock are so nice and they treat you with the utmost respect.
