The Sandpiper Guest Apartments

This was the best deal we could find on the island and it didn’t disappoint! The cheapest place to stay with lots of room and kitchens. Moira and all the service people were so nice and attentive. The apartments are clean and really nice. There is a pool that is well maintained with room to lounge. Property is beautifully landscaped with tropical trees and flowers. They have a 24/7 phone outside the office from which it’s very easy to get a cab. Walk led to gas station for food everyday and it never got old. Good breakfast buffet and pastries there. (Yes at the gas station) we also walked to the beach right past the gas station in 5 minutes and it was breath taking!! Central location on island.

This property has exceeded our expectations. It was close proximity to Hamilton, Horsehoe Bay, restaurants and convenience store. The staff was very professional, friendly, informative and attentive. Special thanks to Moya at the front desk who helped to make our vacation memorable. Will be definitely staying at the Sandpiper again! 😊We can’t wait to return and are planning our next years summer vacation.

If I could give the Sandpiper a 10-star rating, I would! The exterior of the property is both beautiful and impeccably clean. We loved the grassy area where we often gathered with friends. The pool is sparkling and refreshing. The rooms are exceptionally clean and spacious, and the kitchen was incredibly useful. The staff is both helpful and friendly. Although our room was located on the roadside, we couldn't hear any noise. The location is also very convenient, centrally situated to both sides of the island. I highly recommend purchasing a bus pass, as the bus stops are very close to the hotel. Many thanks to my friend Janet for discovering this gem of a place to stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. Front desk was super nice and helpful with any questions. First time visiting Bermuda, once we adjusted to our surroundings we were very comfortable here! South Beach is less than 10 mins walk away (take a right outside the moon gate, follow the road on left side till you come to a pillar and parking) Gas station is the other direction, less than 3 min walk. They have everything you could need, including fresh baked goods for breakfast and hot foods too. Bus stops are nearby as well. Pool was great, other families enjoyed the grill. Rooms super clean, maid was very nice. We loved it, can't wait to go back. 10/10 would recommend for independent travelers!

Perfect location being half way on the island. |Very clean apparent and the staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. |Kitchen facilities are great. |2 double beds. |Lovely little bathroom. |As we went out of season the weather was sunny yet very windy with rain showers so we didn’t utilise the pool. |It is on the main road of the island and traffic is passing at all hours, though it is bearable . |Very good bus route with a bus stop Outside. Pink stop goes towards Hamilton. Blue away from Hamilton. If you use the buses buy the multi pass from the tourist place in Hamilton. |Locals are so very friendly and helpful. We have never found such a friendly island in all our travels. ||Would 20000% recommend Bermuda the sandpiper.

Wonderful place, clean and spacious, plus very friendly staff. We especially liked the pool and the fact that all the nice South shore beaches can be reached conveniently by bus that departs right next to the house. Nearby Southland park is also gorgeous.

Fantastic apartment-style hotels with complete kitchens and outdoor grill. Location is ideal for the south shore beaches, easy access to buses, and more affordable than any of the other options.

Really enjoyed our stay at the sandpiper. The host was very friendly and gave us all the information we needed. Rooms were clean and a decent size with a nice double bed. Bus stop just outside the apartment on the main road which runs normally every 15 minutes ( make sure you buy a bus pass in Hamilton) swimming pool was nice and was cleaned every morning. It was a little cold in April but couldn't be helped. There is a service station 2 minutes walk away which also serves hot food throughout the day. There is a nice local beach that is a 5 minute walk from Sandpiper. The bus stop can drop you at horse shoe bay and it's a 10 minute walk to Warwick beach from there. Bus stops have colour markers on the side of the road. The locals are extremely friendly and on two occasions we were offered lifts whilst waiting for bus. Only slight negative was the road noise from the apartment. Lots of scooters and cars pass regularly as this is the main road towards horseshoe bay and dockyard. Wifi was also temperamental.
