The Sandridge Motel

Okay for a motel. Nicely located. Room was okay. Showering however was a bit tricky with trying to adjust the temperature of the water because - and no exaggeration - rotating the cold water tap by more than a couple of mm is the difference between hot and cold.

Lovely motel opposite the beach on the main road near all the shops and restaurants. The staff are extremely helpful. The rooms are clean and we were happy with the size. Toaster and tea and coffee making supplies in room. Also cutlery and plates and bowels. We would stay here again.

Front facing beach, perfect location, walk everywhere., Super comfortable king bed, spacious ro and balcony will definitely be back. Only thing to improve would be a fly screen door on the verandah to allow the breeze but no mozzies at night

Quite expensive but not much choice in Lorne. Staff are excellent and the location was perfect for food and walks. Rooms are very clean but a bit dated and not very soundproof. However, this was just one night and served its purpose.

Delightfully retro, super clean, and amazing ocean views for a great price. A real gem right in lovely Lorne. The staff was also super helpful and even shipped my daughter’s beloved stuffed animal to her when we left it behind. A great place!

Excellent all around. Interacted with multiple staff all of which were incredibly kind and helpful. Amazing location- directly across from lifeguard portion of beach, nestled amongst delicious restaurants and lovely shops. Room was incredibly clean. Balcony over looks the water. Saw some mention of the bathroom being dated. It was but it’s also a 3 star motel, not the Ritz. Bathroom was clean and well cared for. Liked that it had shelves to put my stuff and 2 mirrors arrananged so that you could also see that back of your hair. Lots of extras were provided on room- microwave, kettle, all kinds of dishes, some complimentary sweet snacks/coffee/tea, toaster… event a little sweep that I found handy after returning from the beach covered in sand. Loved that there were lots of extra pillows in the closet. Especially important, has good quality night curtains that blocked out all the light if desired. Staff were very helpful in extending my stay and charged less than quoted by 3rd party and online!

Service is fantastic, reception is always a delight. But cant say that for the Pierview Room 3. Parents bedroom and bathroom no lock on doors. Portable heaters available but no powerboard to put kids heater in a safe place in the bedroom. Bed had to be pushed to place heater in between beds, totally unsafe. The amount of dust within the property, needs attention, carpet and living space. Overall clean.

Great location and view , shower could have been better but that's about it , still a great place
