There was so much I loved about this place, but the ** #1 standout has to be the excellent price value**. Finding a genuinely fair-priced meal these days is rare, and this restaurant delivers it without compromising quality.
What really impressed me was how deeply connected the owners are to the culture of the food they serve. You can taste it. They know their dishes, their ingredients, and the traditions behind them and that makes all the difference.
I ordered the Vodka Rosé and originally planned on pairing it with fettuccine, but they recommended linguine instead. That suggestion was spot on — it gave the sauce a richer, more luxurious texture. And because they’re culturally tied to the cuisine, they don’t skimp on ingredients. The Vodka Rosé had real bacon in it, and the spices were perfectly balanced.
They even offered me a small sample of the sauce beforehand to make sure the spice level was right. It was perfect.
I’ll absolutely be returning. This is a super kind husband-and-wife team, and I loved the touch of having a photo of the Nonna whose recipes inspired their sauces. A wonderful meal made with pride, honesty, and heart.
