What a great location and beautiful hotel. Sharon on reception was really lovely and very helpful. I became an Accor Plus member and this meant that Sharon could upgrade us to an ocean view apartment. The apartment was huge, the bed was comfortable. The lounge and kitchen area made me feel like I was at home and not stuck in a small pokey hotel room.
This accommodation has a lovely pool and gym. It’s perfectly located close to the marina area with lots of great restaurants near by.
I highly recommend staying at the Sebel Harbour Lights.

Hannah checked us in and we had a wonderful stay. Such a lovely lady - made checking in and out a breeze. The facilities are beautiful I would highly recommend staying here in a room with a Harbour view. Car park easy to use and secure, pool and gym very nice as well. But Hannah was the stand out!

Awesome friendly welcome from reception. Rooms were clean, modern and view was great from the balcony. Shower was lacking pressure and it took ages for hot ware to come through. Pool is good though it’s a long walk through the sprawling building to get there. It acould be open later than 9pm - lights turning off automatically is dangerous.
Decent, perfectly ok stay but I’d shop around.

Fantastic customer service from Sharon on front desk - nothing was too much trouble from where to park my 4wd to restaurant recommendations.
The Hotel does not have its own bar and restaurant but literally is connected to an esplanade with lots of bars and restaruants / tour operators.
The Hotel is roughly a 5 min walk to the Night Markets and Esplanade Lagoon.
I booked a basic room but still had water views. The rooms were fine (except the in-room safe was too small - couldn't fit a tablet).
Hotel has a pool and gym.
If back in Cairns, I wouldn't hesitate staying here again.

The location and staff are amazing. We just had one big problem. The hotel seems to have mould problem, most likely from the air conditioner. On levels 7 and 8, the 1 bedroom and the lobby had same smell. We swapped rooms the first night as the wet mould smell was so intense in the room. We went to a studio on level 2 and there was no issue as it was an individual air con straight to the outside instead of the vented system. We moved back into another 1 bedroom however the problem was still there even though they did a good clean and sprayed with nice spray. We had to turn off the air con and open the door to the balcony which helped a lot. However it's hot, so air con went back on and smell came back. I suggest this is something fixed asap as it can be dangerous to guests and staff. The staff were very accommodating and gave us a bottle of wine and discount. But we should of changed to the studio for the rest of trip in hindsight. But we just stuck with it.

Booked this for the amazing location.
The beds were comfortable but the decor across the various rooms was inconsistent and lacking style to be expected.
The huge living room with small tv, odd side tables and couch and two recliners with simple market style pottery on display was odd. A wall hook missing an actual painting. The kitchen cupboards when opening showed age, the slide out pantry has rust and was sticky to try and use.
Overall it was just ok. It lacked love and midway through the stay the door to reception to the lifts stopped opening.
The pool was great but hardly accessible. A young man using a mobility device came up and needed his support worker to help him navigate stairs - it would have been great had a ramp been available to be inclusive to all
There's a lot of competition on this market. The decor really needs to be bought up to standard it felt a little thrift shop style. The four odd cushions that didn't match the lounge. The lounge!!! Why no rug? No coffee table? The weird white vase/fruit platter ? The mismatched dinner plates?

Had a great stay here, really good experience, right from checking in to checking out. Rooms were amazing, love how there is a washing machine and dryer in there as well. Location is awesome, close to everything you will need. Staff and service was great.
Dec 2020 - It has been a year since I last stayed here. I am please to say, service is 10 out of 10! Staff are great rooms too are also great.

Location was very nice, it was quite expensive but I would have enjoyed it more if there was more amenities offered. Staff were friendly and quick to attend to my requests. The view from the balcony was nice, we got the harbour view for $20 extra per night. The pillow I received after room service had cleaned our room was a bit dirty, it had a bit of blood on it. I had originally booked there for a birthday and put in for a special request as a birthday, but I didn't receive anything complimentary. Also the TV channel's Foxtel didn't work, it had a "must ensure channel is paid for warning symbol. The phone to contact reception did not work, I had to contact the hotel number on my personal mobile phone. The pool was very underwhelming from the photos posted, it was a bit dirty and the spa didn't work for a bit.
