Really good. Fresh rooms, friendly smiles and a team who go the extra mile. You’ve found the best place to stay in Launceston. Special mention to the chef working the evening of 15/6/25 who made the most delicious Panko Chicken Schnitzel with a next level salad with citrus and pistachio nuts, delicious! The owners here should be very proud of their team. 👏

Location was good as we could walk to restaurants and cafes. We had a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment which was clean, well appointed and quiet enough. Bedrooms were on the small side but the bed was comfortable. The rooms could do with an update as they are looking a little tired. Overall it was a good one night stay, but nothing to write home about.

Stayed in a 2-bed suite, which was of generous size but odd layout. The second toilet was nowhere to be found until we opened a door that we all assumed was a cupboard in the hallway. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well due to the quiet location. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the CBD and the wharf, with well-appointed rooms and easy parking. The only negative is that the carpets were a little tired, but for the price, we had value for money.

Google
4 star hotel with 6 star service!! Faultless . Great rooms . Great value. Dining in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner was like being served fine dining meals in an executive club lounge setting with such personalized attention from professional and friendly staff. In fact that describes all staff members throughout the hotel. Loved it . Will be back . 😊

We stayed at the Sebel Launceston for work and pleasure. The room was very nice, great size and very comfortable. Lovely outside veranda area also. The hotel staff were very welcoming and looked up and acknowledged us every time we walked in or out of the hotel. The food was lovely with options at breakfast for my partners dietary requirements. Dinner looked a little light on so went elsewhere. The only minor downside was for a platinum member you only receive a cookie. Yes, breakfast is included, but being work, that would be covered by my employer anyway. I did also have to move the date slightly at the last minute, which was difficult, seems very hard for the hotel staff because it had been booked through the app.

We stayed at this hotel on our last night in Tasmania as we were flying out of Launceston the next day. Our room was spacious and well appointed we had a King room which had a separate bedroom area, a lounge and flat screen TV as well as a balcony, a well designed ensuite and a small kitchenette, everything about the room was tasteful though the decor was a little bit bland. We had breakfast included in our booking. The staff in the restaurant were polite and courteous, though not overly welcoming. |The check in and check out processes were fine and the front desk staff were polite and professional, there is a carpark available at additional cost but we were there on a weekend so were able to park on the street for free. The hotel is only 4-5 minutes walk into the CBD and the location was quite quiet for the duration of our stay, we enjoyed our stay, recommended.

I feel the staff didn't explain anything upon check-in. Dining options at the hotel, no welcome drinks, things to do in Launceston. We were upgraded to a 3 bedroom apartment which was way to big as there were only 3 of us.

Google
Excellent room and facilities. Friendly staff and everything was clean but the hotel exudes a rundown vibe. It is just looking and feeling tired. The bed wasn't great, but we have had worse in this trip. Parking was reasonable and easy to use.

Yelp
After staying at a nearby hotel previously and having terrible experience, we decided this hotel would be our hotel of choice. The hotel is very modern in the foyer. Check-in was great. There is a great restaurant and bar near the lobby. The lounge within the restaurant in bar makes it very casual and welcoming. Our rooms are very modern nice and clean and brilliant . The only concern we had and problem was they were still updating half of the hotel and we were walking through a construction zone to and from our room every day and had to put up with a bunch of noise from contractors. I'm not sure the answer would've been here but they can't work on all the rooms at once but it was not the best situation. Once the hotel is completely updated and there is no more construction, it will likely hit a five star Yelp rating. I'll stay here next time hopefully it's all done and we have a great day..

Yelp
My room was very large and spacious. It was more like a an apartment in terms of size than a room. A separate living area, bathroom and toilet provide ample space. Certainly enough for two people. The king size bed was very comfortable and the concierge was helpful. If ever returning to 'Ceston, I definitely would stay at the Sebel. Good location too - easy access to town.

Yelp
The original plan for out honeymoon was to fly out of Launceston after 4pm back to Sydney, but there were no flights after 4pm when we tried to book tickets! Our tour agent gave us a couple of hotel options to stay the night, and honestly, the in-room washer/dryer is what sold me. After 15 days in Australia and intermittent sink washing plus one hotel laundry service, being able to use the washer/dryer was great! They include 2 small bottles of laundry detergent in the room, but you can always ask for more from the front desk. The rooms were spacious and clean with separate sleeping and sitting areas. It was more than enough space for us just for one night.

Yelp
Room description and picture didn't match reality, but it was still on okay place. This was my only stay in Launy so i have nothing to compare it to. Close location to the wharf and the Peppers restaurant. They have their own restaurant in the lobby area which was busy both nights. They put overflow tables on a carpeted section of the lobby. The "business center" desk is right next to the dinner tables which felt odd to me. Not bad, but might try something else for the price. Coz...

Yelp
The hotel was very nice. All the tvs worked and the service was great. Our view was the down fall of the hotel but other than that it was a great stay. 4 stars.
