We had such a wonderful stay at the Sebel in Launceston. We celebrated a wedding anniversary and all the staff made us feel very special and welcomed during our stay. We even got a complimentary room upgrade which was wonderful! The beds were super comfy, the bath was such a treat and the dinner and breakfast was so good!! I haven't seen such a tasty menu like that in ages. The quality of the food was awesome and we enjoyed every minute we were there. Thank you so much Sebel!! Xx

Our room was booked through air bnb. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, and fully equipped. It was a five minute walk to the pub/restaurant area and a 15 minute drive to cataract gorge, which was well worth the visit. Would definitely stay at this apartment again.

Aside from the friendly and attentive service, we had a very lacklustre experience. Rooms are spacious but not well-furnished so not great for relaxing. Room decor is dated. We were surprised to find out when we got to our room that the clock tower nearby chimes every 15 minutes 24/7 and, the two nights we were there, a street sweeper or leaf blower started up from approx 6:30. We were glad we brought earplugs as this is the only thing that ensured we got some sleep. The TV remote worked inconsistently, so we just used our tablet for entertainment. One thing that would have been nice when we arrived was to be told a bit about the city and where to find the great range of cafes and restaurants that we later found out Launceston has. Overall, this is not the quality of a stay I’ve come to expect from Accor properties with a 4.5 star rating.

Beautiful room, spacious and light. Nice and dark once the blinds were down. Good bed and an excellent night's sleep. Second time here. Just gets better.

Booked a 2 room apartment stay. Nice rooms. Only downside was that the previous guests used towels were left hanging on the back of the bathroom door. Which was a bit off putting. Otherwise no other complaints

We dropped in for breakfast the other morning and I am so happy we did. We have lived in Tassie for 6 years and I can’t believe this was our first time! It was so warm and has a high end look and feel. Whilst we were too late for brekky, we decided to kick back, relax and wait for lunch as it was so gorgeous. I particularly loved the full length windows and the comfy banquet style seating. When it got too warm in the window, they dropped the electric blind which was a nice touch. The food was delicious. We shared ricotta and spinach dumplings, mushroom arancini balls and a bowl of the best fries I’ve tasted in ages. The coffee was also next level. Staff were friendly and attentive and the bathrooms were immaculate. This is my new favourite place and one I highly recommend 😀

Convenient to walk into the CBD. Friendly greeting when we arrived and departed. Otherwise a very lacklustre experience. Rooms are spacious but not well-furnished so not great for relaxing. Room decor is dated. Clock tower nearby chimes every 15 minutes 24/7 and, the two nights we were there, a street sweeper or leaf blower started up from approx 6:30, so bring earplugs. We had much better value for money at nicer hotels in Hobart.

I just dined at The Sebel Bluestone Bar & Kitchen and had such a wonderful experience! 💫 Amber, who served me, was absolutely lovely. She kindly let me know the kitchen was closing soon but that I could still order lunch — and I’m so glad I did! The food was absolutely delicious, the service was exceptional, and the place itself was simply gorgeous. Thank You, Amber, for your incredible hospitality and kindness. 🌸

Yelp
After staying at a nearby hotel previously and having terrible experience, we decided this hotel would be our hotel of choice. The hotel is very modern in the foyer. Check-in was great. There is a great restaurant and bar near the lobby. The lounge within the restaurant in bar makes it very casual and welcoming. Our rooms are very modern nice and clean and brilliant . The only concern we had and problem was they were still updating half of the hotel and we were walking through a construction zone to and from our room every day and had to put up with a bunch of noise from contractors. I'm not sure the answer would've been here but they can't work on all the rooms at once but it was not the best situation. Once the hotel is completely updated and there is no more construction, it will likely hit a five star Yelp rating. I'll stay here next time hopefully it's all done and we have a great day..

Yelp
My room was very large and spacious. It was more like a an apartment in terms of size than a room. A separate living area, bathroom and toilet provide ample space. Certainly enough for two people. The king size bed was very comfortable and the concierge was helpful. If ever returning to 'Ceston, I definitely would stay at the Sebel. Good location too - easy access to town.

Yelp
The original plan for out honeymoon was to fly out of Launceston after 4pm back to Sydney, but there were no flights after 4pm when we tried to book tickets! Our tour agent gave us a couple of hotel options to stay the night, and honestly, the in-room washer/dryer is what sold me. After 15 days in Australia and intermittent sink washing plus one hotel laundry service, being able to use the washer/dryer was great! They include 2 small bottles of laundry detergent in the room, but you can always ask for more from the front desk. The rooms were spacious and clean with separate sleeping and sitting areas. It was more than enough space for us just for one night.

Yelp
Room description and picture didn't match reality, but it was still on okay place. This was my only stay in Launy so i have nothing to compare it to. Close location to the wharf and the Peppers restaurant. They have their own restaurant in the lobby area which was busy both nights. They put overflow tables on a carpeted section of the lobby. The "business center" desk is right next to the dinner tables which felt odd to me. Not bad, but might try something else for the price. Coz...

Yelp
The hotel was very nice. All the tvs worked and the service was great. Our view was the down fall of the hotel but other than that it was a great stay. 4 stars.
