Can’t fault the hotel, its service and facilities. We were well looked after, room spotless when cleaned, and room had everything we needed. Restaurant was lovely and cooked for us when we arrived at closing time. Recommend staying here.

The staff at Sebel Launceston were friendly and always greeted everyone with a smile. Unfortunately the hotel itself is definitely due for an upgrade/renovation. The jets of the spa bathtub needs maintenance, it has mouldy particles coming out. Hotel should provide pillow options, some of us ended up with sore necks the next morning. I am not 100% sure how clean the sheets are as we did feel itchy through the night. Otherwise the two bedroom suite is well equipped for a hotel - spacious fridge, kettle, pots/pans, stove and even a dishwasher.

Excellent. There is no shuttle from airport and the parking spots are very narrow which was worrying using a hire car and you have to let passengers out before you park. $10 a day which is reasonable. I will stay here when I am in Launceston. We had a nice view onto the street, large suite, great location.

Hotel is well located. Booked a 2 bedroom suite for 4 persons. Each bedroom has its own attached bathroom. Room is clean and well equipped with kitchenette, dishwasher, laundry etc. On checkout left a mobile phone behind. It was found by housekeeping and hotel proactively emailed me of the find. Kudos to the team! Only small complain is the size of the parking lot. A little too small especially if you have a full size SUV. Overall an excellent stay.

The one bedroom accommodation is big but there's actually no place to put the cot in the room. The cot can only stay in the living room space which is useless or you just limit yourself in the bedroom when your little one is asleep. Big plus is the room is clean and tidy. For those sensitive to sound, this might not be a good option as the nearby clock tower will struck every hour even throughout the night. Secure parking is available for $10 a night.

Excellent location, walking distance to the city, river and Cataract Gorge. Large and comfortable rooms with large bathrooms (shower and bath). Friendly front desk staff (which can be hard to find nowadays). Definitely recommend this hotel for your visit to Launceston.

Nicely located. Quiet. Easy walk into the city. Reception staff were lovely, efficient and very helpful. Washing machine on Level 1.|Restaurant was a little too expensive for us. Coffee was ok. Nice garden area. Good to have parking onsite.

Spacious room Friendly staff Delicious breakfast We booked the room needing something a bit bigger due to having a young baby. Great decision. Large room with separate lounge, kitchenette including fridge, sink, kettle and microwave. Shower with separate bath and separate toilet. Separate bedroom with double bed. Great room for a family.

Yelp
After staying at a nearby hotel previously and having terrible experience, we decided this hotel would be our hotel of choice. The hotel is very modern in the foyer. Check-in was great. There is a great restaurant and bar near the lobby. The lounge within the restaurant in bar makes it very casual and welcoming. Our rooms are very modern nice and clean and brilliant . The only concern we had and problem was they were still updating half of the hotel and we were walking through a construction zone to and from our room every day and had to put up with a bunch of noise from contractors. I'm not sure the answer would've been here but they can't work on all the rooms at once but it was not the best situation. Once the hotel is completely updated and there is no more construction, it will likely hit a five star Yelp rating. I'll stay here next time hopefully it's all done and we have a great day..

Yelp
My room was very large and spacious. It was more like a an apartment in terms of size than a room. A separate living area, bathroom and toilet provide ample space. Certainly enough for two people. The king size bed was very comfortable and the concierge was helpful. If ever returning to 'Ceston, I definitely would stay at the Sebel. Good location too - easy access to town.

Yelp
The original plan for out honeymoon was to fly out of Launceston after 4pm back to Sydney, but there were no flights after 4pm when we tried to book tickets! Our tour agent gave us a couple of hotel options to stay the night, and honestly, the in-room washer/dryer is what sold me. After 15 days in Australia and intermittent sink washing plus one hotel laundry service, being able to use the washer/dryer was great! They include 2 small bottles of laundry detergent in the room, but you can always ask for more from the front desk. The rooms were spacious and clean with separate sleeping and sitting areas. It was more than enough space for us just for one night.

Yelp
Room description and picture didn't match reality, but it was still on okay place. This was my only stay in Launy so i have nothing to compare it to. Close location to the wharf and the Peppers restaurant. They have their own restaurant in the lobby area which was busy both nights. They put overflow tables on a carpeted section of the lobby. The "business center" desk is right next to the dinner tables which felt odd to me. Not bad, but might try something else for the price. Coz...

Yelp
The hotel was very nice. All the tvs worked and the service was great. Our view was the down fall of the hotel but other than that it was a great stay. 4 stars.
