We dropped in for breakfast the other morning and I am so happy we did. We have lived in Tassie for 6 years and I can’t believe this was our first time! It was so warm and has a high end look and feel. Whilst we were too late for brekky, we decided to kick back, relax and wait for lunch as it was so gorgeous. I particularly loved the full length windows and the comfy banquet style seating. When it got too warm in the window, they dropped the electric blind which was a nice touch. The food was delicious. We shared ricotta and spinach dumplings, mushroom arancini balls and a bowl of the best fries I’ve tasted in ages. The coffee was also next level. Staff were friendly and attentive and the bathrooms were immaculate. This is my new favourite place and one I highly recommend 😀

Very nice as expected for accommodation and service. Room is spacious and well fitted for comfortable stay. Reception team are welcoming and helpful. There is a restaurant for in house meals but still a variety of restaurants within walking distance to explore.

I just dined at The Sebel Bluestone Bar & Kitchen and had such a wonderful experience! 💫 Amber, who served me, was absolutely lovely. She kindly let me know the kitchen was closing soon but that I could still order lunch — and I’m so glad I did! The food was absolutely delicious, the service was exceptional, and the place itself was simply gorgeous. Thank You, Amber, for your incredible hospitality and kindness. 🌸

Really good. Fresh rooms, friendly smiles and a team who go the extra mile. You’ve found the best place to stay in Launceston. Special mention to the chef working the evening of 15/6/25 who made the most delicious Panko Chicken Schnitzel with a next level salad with citrus and pistachio nuts, delicious! The owners here should be very proud of their team. 👏

Very convenient location, close and walkable to centre of town. Nice big room with mini kitchenette set up, no mini bar in room. Great shower and huge bathtub. Friendly and helpful customer service at reception at all times.

Had a wonderful two-night stay at The Sebel Launceston. The room was clean and very comfortable, the staff are wonderful - kind and helpful and the service and food in the restaurant were excellent. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. The GM and their team should be very proud of the service they deliver.

Check in average. No other info given for restaurant or breakfast. Pointed to door to car park. Suite was very spacious, 2 bedrooms twin beds and a king bed. King room had large ensuite with spa bath. there was kitchen dining lounge area, bathroom and laundry.|Views from lounge and king bedroom - straight into an office block. Views from 2nd bedroom, building and a carpark.|Went to breakfast at 7.30 only to be told it is 8.30. we left without complimentary breakfast to get to our next destination. check out average. Wouldn't stay there again.

Yelp
After staying at a nearby hotel previously and having terrible experience, we decided this hotel would be our hotel of choice. The hotel is very modern in the foyer. Check-in was great. There is a great restaurant and bar near the lobby. The lounge within the restaurant in bar makes it very casual and welcoming. Our rooms are very modern nice and clean and brilliant . The only concern we had and problem was they were still updating half of the hotel and we were walking through a construction zone to and from our room every day and had to put up with a bunch of noise from contractors. I'm not sure the answer would've been here but they can't work on all the rooms at once but it was not the best situation. Once the hotel is completely updated and there is no more construction, it will likely hit a five star Yelp rating. I'll stay here next time hopefully it's all done and we have a great day..

Yelp
My room was very large and spacious. It was more like a an apartment in terms of size than a room. A separate living area, bathroom and toilet provide ample space. Certainly enough for two people. The king size bed was very comfortable and the concierge was helpful. If ever returning to 'Ceston, I definitely would stay at the Sebel. Good location too - easy access to town.

Yelp
The original plan for out honeymoon was to fly out of Launceston after 4pm back to Sydney, but there were no flights after 4pm when we tried to book tickets! Our tour agent gave us a couple of hotel options to stay the night, and honestly, the in-room washer/dryer is what sold me. After 15 days in Australia and intermittent sink washing plus one hotel laundry service, being able to use the washer/dryer was great! They include 2 small bottles of laundry detergent in the room, but you can always ask for more from the front desk. The rooms were spacious and clean with separate sleeping and sitting areas. It was more than enough space for us just for one night.

Yelp
Room description and picture didn't match reality, but it was still on okay place. This was my only stay in Launy so i have nothing to compare it to. Close location to the wharf and the Peppers restaurant. They have their own restaurant in the lobby area which was busy both nights. They put overflow tables on a carpeted section of the lobby. The "business center" desk is right next to the dinner tables which felt odd to me. Not bad, but might try something else for the price. Coz...

Yelp
The hotel was very nice. All the tvs worked and the service was great. Our view was the down fall of the hotel but other than that it was a great stay. 4 stars.
