A Summer Wellness Getaway in Budapest's Storied Baths

"Hotels are a common host to some of the city’s most relaxing, newer baths. While away an afternoon at the Mystery Hotel Budapest’s Secret Garden Day Spa, a small, sky-lit space adorned with potted plants that showcases a glass-domed jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room."

The Spa is totally amazing! I really nice and clean place! There is a gym , jacuzzi , sauna and steam room , you can additionally book appointment for massage ! The entrance is around 30€ for three hours and it’s cannot be with a lot of people , it’s like semi private . Totally worth it !

Bit of a steep price for what the spa offers to be honest. I believe we paid around £30 each for a 3 hour entry slot. The three hours did end up being enough in the end, which we were worried about. They give you a robe and slippers on entry which is quite nice and also a locker key to put your things away in. But this did get a bit tricky when there are 4 of you in the sauna with your robes and slippers hung up at the same time and nobody knows whose is whose which isn’t great. Maybe some numbers on the robes may help this. However, it was quite crowded (nearly impossible to get a space in the jacuzzi) and I felt as though the pictures make it look a lot nicer than it actually is. Definitely not as clean in person, but not awful. Steam room didn’t get particularly steamy but the sauna was probably the best part. Apart from that not a lot else there to be honest. Would recommend walking through to the gym to make use of the ice cold water cooler, instead of drinking the awful orange infused water at the entrance.

We were really hyped about this place at first, but then reality hits. Small place for too many people. One Finnish sauna which could be absolutely fine, if there was any regulation about NOT wearing swimming suits to the sauna. You shouldn't be allowed to do that, it's unhealthy and absolutely disgusting to breath burning rubber etc... And on the top of that, people in those sweaty swimsuits are coming right to the jacuzzi without showering themselves. Very few places to rest and lay down, not enough for everybody. And people from the gym are situated right in front of the shower and looking straight through the window at you showering naked. Not really worth the pricetag and all the hype around it. It could be a great, silent, hidden place... But it isn't. Sorry.

Nice little place if you wanna access the spa, very quiet and relaxed. if you do want to visit this place, you will need to book in advance to book a time slot as they allow certain amount of people in that time. You do get up to 3 hours to use the facilities.

Bit shit. Only 1 steam room 1 sauna and a tiny jacuzzi. Better spending your money somewhere else. Very intimate and changing rooms are tiny no privacy. Save your money or do something else!

Really disappointing experience all round tk be honest. Staff didn't have a clue what they were doing. Girl working there (brunette with glasses who barely spoke above a whisper) couldn't answer a single question, couldn't give any information and refused to so much as show us around the spa (which in itself is TINY). She incorrectly booked us for two facial massages (which we didn't realise aren't supposed to be booked alone but as an add on). Luckily the massage therapist was kind enough to still take us (they were amazing and hence the 2 stars)but again it was entirely the hotel staff members mistake and caused a big confusion and her inability to know her own job or explain things properly. At the end of the our session she'd completely disappeared and i was unable to get my i.d back from the desk, having to go to the main hotel reception to fetch a staff member. All round it felt badly organised, small and lackluster. One steam room (which was cold), one sauna (small) and one jacuzzi. Changing room is tiny and no privacy to change. Only allowed to drink water from cheap chipped plastic glasses yet water dispenser was empty majority of our visit. For the price I'd recommend going elsewhere.

I had a very enjoyable experience here. 3 hours stay and very ambient. Great and clean facilities which included the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi

I found this place through Instagram and booked online. When I saw the reviews I was actually scared, but when arrived the place was magical and clean in the contrary of what the reviews describe. The only thing that I can consider as a negative is the fact that you cannot enjoy the place by yourself, given the fact that the jacuzzi is really small and can be uncomfortable for more than 3-4 people to use at once. We went (a group of four) on a Monday morning and there were another 2 girls taking pictures all the time and made us feel quite uncomfortable with the use of the jacuzzi.
