The Secret Garden Quito

Such a fun experience here at this hostel! The rooms were clean and the staff was helpful. We ate at the restaurant and the food was good too. Maria Belen was so kind to us. I definitely recommend. Martha also took care of our clothes! They were washed and folded perfectly within two hours of dropping them off. It was so nice not to have to worry about laundry.

Great hostel! This was my first time staying at one, and everything was perfect. The washrooms were clean no matter what time of the day I used them. The restaurant on the terrace serves great food and has a stunning view. The food is expensive if you don't stay there, but with the disocunt for guests the prices are pretty reasonable.

My husband and I had such a wonderful experience staying here!! We were also just extremely lucky, we booked the 4 person dorm room and ended up having it to ourselves for 3 nights!! And to top it off, the beds and pillows were comfortable, there’s hot water and a quick turn around time for the laundry service. We also went on two different whole day tours through this hostel and they were both amazing experiences. We had the same guide, Rasu, both days and he was very passionate, knowledgeable and engaging. The rooftop restaurant and bar were a nice vibe, lots of people hanging out and delicious food that was discounted for guests staying at the hostel. Margaritas were yummy as well. All in all, this was one of our favorite hostels. 10/10 recommend especially if you’re wanting a more social atmosphere.

My staying at the Secret Garden in Cotopaxi and Quito has been an excellent experience! Everything is well organized, the staff is really friendly and super kind in helping with everything you need. A shout out to Eli & Carmita from the laundry service that they even helped me with sewing my trousers :D

The only place I would stay again if I came back to Quito! The staff speak English and Spanish and are amazing, they offer a range of activities while you're here. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms are well maintained. There is a restaurant on the roof which is one of the highlights of the city! Great view and great food. The rooms aren't soundproof but it is in a fairly quiet street. Definitely recommend for travellers

Great vibes at an amazing location in the center of the historic district. We did the walking tour our first morning there and got a layout of the city with unique stories about Quito and the people living there, religion, food, culture, currency, founding history, and a chocolate tasting. Our tour guide, Vale, made the experience but I'm sure other leaders are just a good. 😉

Secret Garden is centrally located. Rooms are clean and quiet. Julio greets you, answers any questions, and is available to help with anything you need. Showers are hot. Bathrooms and showers are clean. Rooftop restaurant has excellent service, food, draft beers, andview of the city. Laundry service is very low cost, high quality, and back in 4 hours. Wonderful hostel with excellent staff who are here to serve.

Beautiful hostel with an amazing rooftop terrace and tons of greenery and cozy little spaces to hang out in. There's family dinners every night and tons of tours every day and free social events most nights of the week. I did salsa with Rodrigo on Friday and he was amazing and a great teacher! The whole staff and volunteers were great and super helpful. Highly recommend the hostel 😁
