How to Plan the Perfect Trip to Universal Studios Hollywood

A newer ride to the park. The attention to detail from the moment you step inside the building is incredible. I wasn’t a fan of the film, but this was fun! The two times we rode it, it was a walk on, which is always a win. We took our time enjoying the queue and looking for hidden things. Kudos to the creators of this ride, they didn’t skip a beat! The ride itself is a nice slow pace. It’s fun to see all the animals and things that are going on. I like how it sounds like all the original actors voiced the characters for the ride. I especially enjoyed how it felt like a dark ride Disney would create, which is a big compliment to Universal!

Google
A very kid friendly ride that’s actually pretty cool. Looks reflectively realistic too. They’ve also done a pretty good job with the construction of the queue where there’s quite a lot to see inside while you’re waiting in the queue. Maybe not one of their signature thrill rides but definitely worth checking out.

Traveling With W.

Google
I've never seen this movie before but the ride itself looked really cute. A reservation was required, although I still had to wait. This ride isn't really plus size friendly so just keep that in mind.

Google
I had the express pass, so I bypassed the regular line. Otherwise, the wait is quite loooong. The line queue involves walking stairs. The ride vehicle is sized for children. So it can be a cozy fit for adults. I totally enjoyed the ride. The animatronics was beyond cute. The ride queue is in Max and Duke's apartment building. Riders move through the apartments of each of the pets including Snowball, Chloe, Max & Duke. Riders head on down into the basement mail room. The storyline is that riders are puppies headed for adoption at the pet store. We hop into vehicles decorated as a shipping box. The vehicles are on a moving conveyor belt. So you need to be steady on your feet to hop in and out. We go through the neighborhood, encounter not so nice alley cats, then end up in a fireworks factory where Snowball has a scheme to strap fireworks into. us to get us to the pet shop. Oh boy. Our fur gets a bit singed. Gidget states that our appearance won't do. So we head on to the spa to get a bath and blow dry. This comes with water and wind special effects. After we are spiffed up, we get a surprise party celebrating our adoption. Yay! The riders exit into the obligatory gift shop aka pet shop.

Google
The wait of this ride is really long, so be sure to get there early. Not really interesting as you’re basically riding in a “pizza box” along a track as an newly adopted pet in this neighbourhood, observing the lives of other pets. While you’re waiting, your waiting area is walking around the New York apartment block of these pets with little peep holes to look into their apartments and even the kitchen area of one of them. It’s fun, but less fun when you’re waiting on a long line.

Jen L.

Google
Typical kid ride. Go early, there won't be a wait. Its not my favorite, but my 10 year old requests it everytime. I think I enjoy the attention to detail in the line queue more than the ride. 😆

Josh P

Google
It is a very good fun ride. It uses a unique Omni-Mover movement system which allows the trains to constantly move. I couldn't understand the story it didn't make sense but it was fun regardless. It is an extremely detailed interior. You may get droplets of water on you as there are special affects.

Aldrick A.

Google
I quite liked this ride. The inside of the building was very detailed and I loved all the little small quirks and features they put into constructing the wait line. However, like all other rides in the park, the wait lines are long, so either get an express pass or come early. You should also be aware of the ride, stopping randomly as when we were on the ride, there were technical difficulties that stopped the boxes from moving twice.

Yelp
The Secret Life of Pets ride at Universal Studios Hollywood is ridiculously cute and surprisingly detailed. From the moment you enter the queue, it feels like you're walking through an animated movie, complete with colorful apartments, talking animals, and more visual gags than you can catch in one go. The ride itself is smooth, family friendly, and filled with animatronics that are way more impressive than I expected for something this lighthearted. It's not the most thrilling ride in the park, but it's definitely one of the most charming. Great for kids, fun for adults, and a nice break from all the high-speed, 3D chaos elsewhere. I left wanting to rewatch the movie and maybe adopt a cartoon dog.

Yelp
The Secret Life of Pets was a fun ride and an enjoyable experience. However it was a 34 minute wait on a Friday in the summer so the long wait was understandable. The several stairs up before the actual ride. The walk towards the ride was entertaining as they have several homes set up showing the life of pets. Once you get to the part to get on the ride, you get in a cart that is a two seater. You go through different types of homes and neighborhoods along the city to show the day in the life of pets. It is a fun and enjoyable ride with or without seeing the movie.

Yelp
Here's my review as someone who does not have kids. This ride is alright. If you are a huge fan of The Secret Life of Pets, then you could like or love it. It's very cute. It is definitely a ride for kids, and I mean small kids. My 10-year-old nephew probably would find it boring. It is pretty boring for adults. Really not much of a "ride" per say. Sure, you wait in the line and sit on the ride. But it goes really slow and just takes you through the Pets world. Not worth the long wait. I would pass on it in the future. But I had to know. I had to give it a try once. One and done for this ride! That being said, I do appreciate all the little details and how adorable it is. The colors, design, and everything was just like the movie. It made you feel like you were in it. I will give them that credit. Is it fast or entertaining? Nope. Was it cute and had a good design? Yeah. Is it something that I would run back to Universal Studios to do? No lol

Yelp
Such a cute ride! And great addition to the park. The queue is so immersive and I love looking at all the details they put into it. The ride itself is super cute and kid friendly. I love seeing which dog I'm turned into and which couple will adopt me! What I don't understand is why the ride restraints are so intense. Stepping into your box, you'd think you're about to go on a thrill ride instead of a haunted mansion type ride. It's unfortunate that it's such not a size friendly ride like a lot of rides at Universal. I understand safety but it's an onnimover, not a rollercoaster.
google avatar

Garett S.

Yelp
Secret life of Pets is Universals true dark family ride. The ride is one of the best rides at universal from Que, to the ride to the gift shop is really well done. It has a great story line and the animatronics and visual effects are net level. It is also one of the view rides that real little ones can enjoy. Wait gets up to anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. I would say even at an hour, it's worth it.
google avatar

Diele K.

Yelp
Happy Adoption Day! Definitely geared towards children, but well-themed for adults to admire all the details in the line and through the ride. I was pleasantly surprised how detailed this attraction was, and the great gift shop as you exit. Though it is usually a skip or a one and done ride for me, it is still a great attraction to check out once if an adult.

Yelp
Awww this ride is so darn cute.... Especially for all pet lovers. I love it, it's a little slow for my liking but I love how you're able to look at all the details and funny moments of the pets. Just so adorable, totally would ride more than once.

Yelp
This is probably one of my new favorite rides at Universal Studios Hollywood. I had a chance to go on the Secret Life of Pets Off The Leash on a quick visit, early February, to Universal Studios Hollywood. The ride is located on the upper lot, next to the Despicable Me Minion Mayhem! You'll discover the exciting world of Illumination's Secret Life of Pets on this ride! During the ride, you may see some of your favorite characters like Max, Gidget, Duke, and Snowball as you join them for an incredible journey through the streets of New York City! This is one of the few kid friendly rides at Universal Studios Hollywood. There is a height requirement of 34' to be able to ride this ride. The walk-through queue line is one of the best at Universal Studios Hollywood! We didn't have to wait when we rode this, approximately 5 minutes to walk from the start of the queue to the line. The walk-through queue immerses you into the Secret Life of Pets World with several kitchens inspired from the movie, and bedrooms as well! It was really cool! The ride is a two/three-seater ride that you sit on, and it spins you through New York City! It's a trackless ride. As you spin around the cart, you may go through a few sections where you get air blown on you and even sprayed with some water! It was a lot of fun and a ride you could go on a few times while visiting the theme park! The ride felt like it was approximately 2-3 minutes long. After the ride, you're dropped off into the Pets Store!

Yelp
Yelp Review 2023 #195: A nice little kiddie ride. But before you get on the ride, you are taken into the world of the characters in "The Secret Life of Pets" like Max, Gidget, Norman, Duke, Snowball, etc by walking into this building. Each room is for each character from the movie. It's very cute! This is one of the last things we did at Universal Studios and we were already tired from standing in line in the heat of the sun at Super Nintendo World. I just wanted a ride that's not exhausting. We stood in line for 30 minutes for this while children kept ringing door bells at the Minions/ Gru's house across the way. You get on the ride, relax and rest your legs as you are taken to the adventures and "The Secret Life of Pets". It's good to see my favorite, Snowball more than once. The ride is about 2 minutes short. You're moving along a track. The cart spins. You get puffs of air blown at your face and some spray/ mist of water.

Yelp
I actually think this is quite a good ride but the wait and queue needs some serious work. I've only been on it a couple of times because I have been scarred from my first couple of times. I have a Universal Pass which allows me to skip the lines for rides. I have anxiety and it's so helpful to not have to wait too long surrounded by masses of people in close quarters. Well both times I have gone on, the posted wait was 30 minutes for the REGULAR line so I got in my Express Pass lane thinking it'd be maybe 15 minutes tops. I ended up waiting 45 minutes once and 60 minutes another, nearing panic attacks. So the posted wait times for this are off! And though the queue is very cute, some parts are very narrow and very crowded and there is nowhere to sit. Just a bit of advice for my fellow neurodivergents. Now that aside, this ride is so cute and fun - just like The Secret Life of Pets movies. The outside looks like a giant apartment building from the movie, perfectly themed. Characters from the movie are so well developed, you can see each personality really come out throughout the ride. This dark ride opened in 2021 and is still in pretty good condition two years into the game. A return to the old school ride format was a surprise, but works so well! I have friends that get dizzy from all their 4D rides so this is a nice and NEW option. The ride is full of laughs with cute jokes and the alley cat section had me LOLing. The basic plot is you are a stray puppy (cue the awwwww) looking for your forever home. Chloe is my favorite Secret Life of Pets (SLoP for short lolol) character and she is strongly represented~! UNIVERSAL PLEASE BRING MORE DARK RIDES TO HOLLYWOOD! This is fabulous!
google avatar

Tameka L.

Yelp
The wait was like a ride in itself. So much to see that the wait was painless. It really felt as if you were walking in some hipster downtown apartment building and getting to see what pets do when you are not there. Tip -they rock out, break things , and chew through your wires.

Yelp
Finally got to get on this ride after missing it the last 4 visits!! We would get there and see that it's a 45 min wait time so we go and do other things first which had longer wait times but by the time we finish with everything else, they no longer have a stand-by line and only take virtual queue people. It was frustrating and hard to judge but since we're pass holders, we decided to grab lunch and specifically only do this ride for a short visit. We grabbed a drink from the bar across the ride entrance but what they don't tell you till the last second is that you can't have open drinks going in the building for the rest of the queue/line! We had to chug our basically full drink. Super cute queue, ride itself was adorable and fun since it has a motion sensor screen to make your dog character dance. If you want a chill ride, this is like Disneyland's Haunted Mansion. The queue is great for photos and just to look at. The problem is that some areas like the hallways and staircase get really tight and uncomfortable but not incredibly bad. Super cute ride and recommend trying it once! Just wish they'd allow drinks but it's probably best since there aren't trash cans and people would probably trash the pretty decor. IG: @ammysalamii

Yelp
This is a great ride to go on for the small kids or if you're a fan of the Secret Life of Pets. My kiddos enjoyed the ride, but I wouldn't wait too long in line for this ride... maybe a max of 25 minutes. Fortunately, they do have cute things to see while waiting in line.
google avatar

Jack R.

Yelp
This ride is HILARIOUS! The animatronics that operate the "pets" are hilarious and you're literally walking through the movie. Pro Tip: 1) Register on the Universal Studios app to save time or 2) go to the left of the building and grab your paper pass that will give you a time to return. This ride DOES not have a regular line, so you have to do either one or two. Once inside you get to look through mailboxes to see what the Pets are up to. It matches the movie with silly scenes like pets getting a massage or playing in their apartment. Really goofy stuff. In a good way of course!
google avatar

Joel B.

Yelp
One of my favorite rides. It was cute. I enjoyed it. Pretending we were dogs was cute. I liked seeing the mirror where we can see which puppy we are. Store afterwards was nice and I found some cute things.
google avatar

Tora M.

Yelp
An adorable ride that will delight kids of all ages! Hit this ride first in the morning (hard left after Starbucks) because it does tend to "sell out" in the afternoons on busy weekends / holidays. The indoor line is cleverly designed and will keep you busy peeking into mail slots for a look at the characters and noticing all of the cute elements. There are different rooms that you go through and each has loads of adorableness. I love the adoption theme! All of the riders are considered to be "strays" in need of TLC and an adoptive family. There are little affirmations of acceptance and even a handicapped dog in a wheelchair! The adoptive families are all different: black, Asian, Hispanic and white. Definitely worth the time...
google avatar

Samantha B.

Yelp
THIS RIDE WAS ADORABLE! I loved every moment of it. Even waiting in line was fun because every area was decorated as a different room from the movies. It was so much fun looking at everything as we waited in the (actually really quick) line. While riding, you get "turned into a dog" AND THAT WAS SO CUTE I LOVED IT. They were training us for how to get adopted. Just. So. Cute. 100% would ride again. Even the gift shop was great and we ended up getting a few things.
google avatar

Mina R.

Yelp
Such a cute little ride. Like being in the movie. Great way to relax after walking all over the park. The ride was slow but I enjoyed it very much. If you're a good boy/girl during the ride. You just might get adopted. Lol.
google avatar

Jenny T.

Yelp
We came on a non-busy day and didn't know what to expect from this ride. We must had walked through a dozen or so different apartments that were all modern, tasteful and cartoonish decor. All so adorable, some were interactive and many animatronics throughout the walk. It was so long that I actually thought it was just a walk through maze and not an actual ride. 15 minutes later, we finally arrived to the section that loads humans into pizza boxes, postal boxes, and other oversized cute boxes. This ride is for kiddies and for adults that love love love adorable fluffy FAT pets. I loved it. I was cute cute cute cute-ing everything we saw. The ride was probably about 10-15 minutes long. Overall, it's a cute ride. Overall, I would stick to Jurassic World ride - my fav fav. Worth seeing at least 1x.
google avatar

Ann T.

Yelp
HONESTLY, if this is not a walk on, then definitely not worth it unless you have small kids who are big fans of the movie series or you're a huge fan as well. Even though it said 25 minutes wait at the front, it ended up being an immediate walk on for the private event that I was attending. As you walk up towards the ride, you get to see the back drops and pets in their homes. Cute animatronics and details. There's a particularly empty stairway up. It would have been cute to have flyers or pictures or some kinda posters to look at , especially if you were trapped there in an actual long wait. You get in a cardboard box vehicle and the story goes that you're getting ready to be adopted. It's really cute that there's a screen showing what kinda doggos you are and as you get ready for adoption (a good shower and scrub too haha). I have actually never watched the movie series (though I probably should), but it was really cute seeing all the animatronic pets and their shenanigans. I thought the hamster at the end was particularly cute, as well as the pug dressed up as a minion. Honestly this ride goes...maybe even slower than an escalator as you move along in your box. It was honestly the only ride that my partner did NOT get sick on. It's cute, but not worth it if it's not a walk on to be honest.
google avatar

Yelp
Children and family friendly ride. This is a slow paced ride with a lot going on. My friend and I virtually queued for this ride through the Universal Studios app. Linking your park ticket to the app is not required to virtually queue for this ride. The last virtual queue seemed to be around 2:30 - 3:30 PM on a Sunday. The line inside felt long, but it's entertaining with all of the cute decorations. It seemed like we were walking through someone's home with a kitchen and child's bedroom. Another open house I can't afford, haha. The ride seats 2 per car and lasts about 4 minutes long with a theme around us becoming well groomed puppies for adoption. Towards the end of the ride, we are transformed into puppies and are adopted. This is the most calming ride in the entire park, so I would check it out if you're looking to take a break from all the heavy action.
google avatar

Derrick G.

Yelp
This ride is truly for younger children. It's a very simple ride, with an extremely long wait. You myst have a reservation for the ride, and the reservations run out really fast. When I was on the ride, it stopped approximately three times due to malfunctions. This ride is not worth the wait, unless you have children that really like the movie.
google avatar

Courtenay O.

Yelp
If you can patiently wait for 50 minutes or more in line, then this is the perfect ride for small children and indulgent parents and family members in a park full of thrill rides. Our wait was 70 minutes - Virtual Line Reservation was unavailable (make reservation for future time). We were told that VLR was only available when there was no wait, which makes no sense. Inside, the decorated house was fun and functional. The books and dog accessories were in bookshelves or on counters, and some were behind glass, gates, or out in the open & stuck in place. Videos along the route to the ride are fun to watch. Animatronic pets provide entertainment and some talk to you. Some seats (made of wood, so don't expect to sink into cushions) were available for resting. If you can't climb stairs (about 22 up), an elevator is available. On the ride, you travel in what look like cardboard boxes - 2 people to a box. You see animals living in alleys or out on the streets. You see fireworks! Then these cats and dogs get captured, groomed and adopted. In your box, near the end of the ride, you see yourself transformed into a dog - like a German shepherd (Husband), or other dog. We saw no cats. Would we wait in line again? No. Would we see it again if no line was present? Yes - only if we had small children with us who would enjoy it.

Lulu G.

Yelp
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this ride!!! It's the most amazing thing ever. It's fantastic. Please go on it. It's so great.
google avatar

Yelp
A great small ride for anyone because it's basically a kid ride. I used the virtual queue when we were inside the park so we came when it was our time slot. The wait wasn't so long and you basically get some entertainment while waiting in line. You basically walk through like a house and get to see the animatronics of the pets. Once you get to the ride area, you just sit in a car and it goes through the ride. There even a part where you'll look like a dog on a TV during the ride.
google avatar

Banjo U.

Yelp
We waited about 40 minutes, which I hardly noticed because of many funny distractions. You don't have to watch the movie to appreciate it. Great animals-electronics, funny scenes as seen in the photos taken. Overall, it's a fun ride for all ages. I highly recommend this ride and will come back again in the future.

Yelp
The Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash ride is the newest attraction at Universal Studios Hollywood that replaced The Walking Dead Attraction, and is located right next to Despicable Me Minion Mayhem attraction. May 2021: Virtual Line Reservations are A MUST, especially, since this is a new ride and following the latest COVID-19 Safety protocols. Subject to change based on COVID-19 updates. You can either reserve the ride time through your Universal Studios Hollywood app or reservation kiosk around the corner from the ride (I reserved the ride time through my app). Wait Time: Depends on the time and day you are going. 1st ride for 11:40am by myself: No wait at all. 2nd ride for 2:15pm with Tora M. and Janice M.: About 1 hour wait (since other people missed their reservation times, but were still allowed in, and a lot of people using their Express Pass to get as well). Express Pass ONLY! No Single Rider line and ALL Single Rider lines are currently closed due to COVID-19 restrictions (again, subject to change based on COVID-19 updates). All staffers and guests must wear their face masks. Hand sanitizers are available at the entrance, before getting on the ride and social distancing practiced. Attraction & Ride Time: About 15mins to 20mins (depending on how long you spend taking pictures in the beginning. The ride itself is about 5 mins). The first part of the attraction is checking out Max's Humans: Katie, Chuck (Hubby) & Liam's (Son) apartment well as some of the other pets' humans' apartments. You'll also get to see Max and Duke themselves, Chloe (Cat), Gidget (Pomeranian), Norman (Guinea Pig), Buddy (Dachshund), and Snowball (White Rabbit). Afterwards, you'll make your way up the stairs to the ride and then leave out directly into the The Pet Store gift shop once the ride is done. The ride: You'll have your hands sanitized before getting on (you can either ride with another person or sit in your own box - my friends and I did the latter). The ride itself is adorable, funny and exciting! The animatronics were lively and talkative. You'll get to see the rest of the other characters from both The Secret Life of Pets, Parts 1 & 2. Also, during my 2nd ride, the ride itself ended up pausing (technical difficulties), which was fine since it allowed myself and other riders to really check out the set decorations and my friends and I took pics of each other too, lol! Towards the end of the ride, you'll get transformed into a puppy, complete with a bath and afterwards, you'll meet the family that wants to adopt you, aww!!! My 1st ride, I was a toy poodle and my 2nd ride, I was a Husky, lol! Overall, I had a great time at The Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash attraction. A great new addition to Universal Studios Hollywood that will delight both kids and adults, woohoo! Definitely check it out!

Yelp
Located at Universal Studios Hollywood. One of the newest rides to open. Very nice and kid friendly ride as long as they met the height requirement. Upon entering you walk through many rooms and see the pet characters it could seem like it takes forever but it's a lot to see and keep you entertained before getting on the ride. Once you reach that area you are seated in a chair like cart or whatever the name it is called like Disneyland rides in Fantasy Land. This ride is cute and lots of things going on. If you are a fan of the movies you'll definitely like this ride. Also similar to Haunted Mansion at Disneyland when you pick up the ghost hitchhiker and see them in the mirror this ride is similar to that where one of the pet characters are created to be you as you look at the screen really cool. Overall one of my favorite rides at Universal. A must ride when visiting.

Yelp
Very cute little ride for young kids and my younger one likes the experience and seeing all the little animals. The last bit were the dogs get a shower was very funny for the kids.

Yelp
This is the new attraction that just opened recently and we came today to check it out. We got into the virtual line for 11am-12pm arrival, and it was easy to sign up via their app. We did other attractions in the meantime before our time slot. Once you enter the attraction, there's a lot of walking to get thru the building and see all the pets in rooms before you reach the ride itself. This ride reminds me of the Winnie the Pooh ride at Disneyland haha.

Yelp
No leg room for taller people. Tight fit for fuller figures people. The ride is absolutely adorable and wonderful for families with younger children, but definitely one you can miss if you have taller people in your group as, like I said, a really uncomfortable situation for them. That said, the queue is full of detail and Easter eggs throughout. Never a moment where boredom will take hold while waiting to ride.

Yelp
My 4 year old LOVES rides! We've had his B-Day party at Adventure City for 2 years in a row. He's never had any issues with belts or restraints. This ride had its lap belt pushed so hard he was screaming and crying the whole time. I was trying to get someone's attention... the ride even stoped for approximately 5mins due to complications and still no one came. My son couldn't adjust or anything. Afterwords I immediately looked at his legs and he had red marks on both. They asked if we wanted to see a medic and he said yes! Mind you, my son isn't overweight, if anything he's slightly underweight for his height. They tried to make the situation right by giving us 4 fast track passes but he was too scared to ride anything that had a pulldown belt. Really wish we never went on this ride. If you do go, keep in mind the belt can get tighter while you're moving and can't be adjusted until you're off. Even though it's made for little kids, I'd recommend not letting them ride.

Yelp
While we waited in line for this ride you go through the apartment complex and many different rooms that the pets in the movie live in. It was like walking around a set. You can peek through the mail slots to see what the pets are doing in their apartments. As you move along the line you learn that you are a stray that is about to be adopted. When we finally get to the actual ride portion you get seated in 2 seated carriages. The beginning of the ride was a bit confusing, there was so much going on. But towards the middle you go back to the main story of you getting adopted. You get cleaned up and as that happens you watch through a mirror that displays you as a puppy. In the end you finally get adopted and a party is held in celebration. The ride itself has many animatronic animals constantly moving in various places, like swinging on ropes. It was also cool to see yourself transformed into a puppy. I would suggest to ride this early because then the ride won't won't be sped up to compensate for the long lines. You can watch the ride with the actual flow and timing that was intended.

Yelp
So my 3 year old nephew cannot do a lot of rides at Universal, but luckily he is tall enough for this ride! There is a height requirement, but for those little toddlers, it is a good ride. The storyline is pretty cute! The line queue is set up to be the apartment building from the movie and you get to walk through various apartments and rooms from all the familiar characters. Usually the line can be a walk on, but I have waited up to 45 min for the ride on a busy day. You go from room to room in a cute little box with 2 individual seats. The premise of the ride has you become little dogs that travel through various city scenes. The first few times my nephew rode it, he was scared of the stray cats in the alley scene. There is also a very loud fireworks scene, which you should be aware of. There's a pet grooming scene complete with splash water effects and a blow dry and at the very end you get adopted by a family. Overall a cute ride, and as usual...it ends at the gift shop.

Yelp
So many surprises on this ride. It's interactive and adorable and so much fun! I recommend using the virtual que otherwise the line can get pretty busy. There's so much to see and so many props and details you have to definitely ride more than once. From beginning to end you feel like you're in a mini little land and part of a story/movie.

Yelp
Was a humorous and enjoyable ride, but not worth a 40 to 50 min wait in the queue. If you have small kids then it might be but otherwise unless the wait is less than 20 min; best to go enjoy something else.

Yelp
Super tight seats . Unable to move legs, felt very uncomfortable and the restraining doesn't match the "ride" experience . I would work better as a walk through or conveyor ride experience.

Yelp
Do you like Disneys Monsters Inc Ride? This is the ride for you. It's the exact same ride with Secret Life of Pets instead of Monster Inc.

Yelp
Fun ride for kids wait times can be long at times but queue theming makes it worth it.

Yelp
Don't get on this ride if you are the least bit claustrophobic...for a slow ride, they have you sooo jammed in and restrained in a very tiny car. It's overkill. Disney has rides like this and you are not restrained like this. Give us some breathing room Universal Studios!!

Yelp
Boring, very slow, and honestly I'm really disappointed with Universal in even trying to make this ride. The line queue was more entertaining than the actual ride. Likely won't ever ride again. Despicable Me ride is more entertaining and has more action than this.

Yelp
The Secret Life of Pets ride is incredible. The theming throughout the ride and detail on every animatronic is great. I highly recommend this to anyone regardless of age.

Yelp
The ride vehicle is very very cute. I like it. The technology is great, the queue is detailed, I love the facade. The animatronics are of a good quality, my only complaint with them is the lack of a horror chase scene where they move at 1 mph at you.

Yelp
Worst ride at universal. Don't waste you're time in this long line. Might be good for kids 6 and under.
