We had such a lovely stay at The Seminyak Beach Resort & Spa. The location is amazing, right by the beach and only a short walk to Seminyak Square, with so many great massage places close by too.||We absolutely loved the infinity pool it was stunning and super relaxing. The poolside food was also a highlight. The tuna poke bowl in particular was a standout and became one of our go to's ! ||The breakfast buffet was incredible. There was such a great range. Everything from fresh breads, pastries, bagels, and pretzels, to western favorites like crispy bacon, eggs, an omelette station, sausages, hash browns, and veggies. There was also a full Asian section with nasi goreng, mie goreng, different curries each day, and a pancake, waffle, and crepe station that we kept going back to. Everything was fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented.||Our room was spacious, clean, and really comfortable. The pillows were super lux and we had great night sleeps. We loved the turn-down service at night, it was a lovely touch that made everything feel extra special.||If you’re thinking of staying here, I’d definitely recommend the beach wing resort rooms over the garden wing. There’s a road between the two sides, and I personally wouldn’t have enjoyed walking back and forth each time to get to breakfast or the pool.||A special shoutout to Uma, who helped us book a cooking class (which was so easy and really fun!). She also checked in with us a few times at breakfast during our stay, which we thought was really sweet and thoughtful.||Another lovely team member was Trisna, who served us breakfast on our first morning and continued to greet us with the warmest smile every day after. It was such a nice way to start each morning.||Overall, the whole team was so friendly and made us feel really welcome. We had such a beautiful and relaxing time and would happily come back!

The Seminyak Beach Resort offers a prime location with a stunning infinity pool right on the beach, providing incredible views of the waves and sunset. The friendly pool team serves up delicious drinks and food. Surf lessons are conveniently available right next door. The hotel features a well-equipped gym and provides complimentary sauna access in the spa area. Rooms are nicely furnished, often boasting great ocean and sunset vistas. The staff are notably friendly, and housekeeping is efficient. Its good location means many excellent restaurants are within easy reach. The breakfast buffet is average: while diverse and quickly refilled, the taste is "just okay," not standing out compared to other Bali experiences. Despite ongoing efforts, there were quite a few mosquitoes and ants. The resort is showing its age in some areas, even with continuous maintenance. On the downside, the rooms are quite noisy, allowing sound from other rooms or restaurants to be heard easily. Also, special breakfast orders, like avocado toast, can take an extremely long time (40 minutes). Overall, it's a good resort, earning a solid 4 out of 5 stars. However, it falls short of being truly excellent.

We spent few wonderful days at The Seminyak Beach Resort & Spa in July, and from the moment we arrived, we were absolutely impressed! The resort is perfectly located right on the beachfront in the heart of Seminyak, offering a serene and tropical atmosphere.||||The beautifully maintained grounds, the stunning infinity pool overlooking the ocean, and the peaceful vibe instantly put us in vacation mode. The service throughout the resort was outstanding – attentive, friendly, and always professional. The food was exceptional, especially during the BBQ nights – a true culinary delight!||||A heartfelt thank you to the amazing team: Ketut Rupa, Uma, and Epi truly stood out with their warm hospitality and genuine kindness. Every wish was anticipated and fulfilled with a smile – true Balinese hospitality at its best.||||We wholeheartedly recommend this resort and are already looking forward to returning. Terima kasih & see you again soon!||||Dani & Marc from Germany

Ask you if you need anything to eat or drink.|We had special attention from Uma who checked in on us and our well-being and how we were enjoying our days at the hotel. Absolutely gorgeous resort, the infinity pool with the stunning view straight onto the beach is amazing. The staff are so friendly, always smiling and would always greet us by name. Super fun resort activities like Balinese dance lessons and traditional Balinese lettering classes are happening every day, a unique opportunity to immerse ourselves more in the culture. Uma especially was lovely, coming to say hello every day at breakfast, she was able to guide us and was really helpful with getting us involved in these activities. Had an incredible stay here at the Seminyak beach resort <3

The staff here are truly wonderful. Nothing is too much effort and everyone is ready to help with a big smile. A particularly huge thanks to Aussie for being brilliant. I've stayed here in two different rooms types. The private pool garden villa (room 1111) needed some maintenance and was a bit tired in places, but with some simple work could be absolutely lovely. This gets 8/10 from me, but could easily become a 9.5 given how incredibly friendly and welcoming the front of house team are. However, anything in first half of "block 5" (room 3101) would get a 3/10 simply on the basis of noise. It's right by a main road and not very soundproofed. The room is appointed well and is on par with expectation for a 5* hotel. The team did manage to move me to another room after a bit of back and forth. Room 3121 was much better for noise, but instead suffered from a smell of damp in the air-conditioning. I took this as the lesser of two evils, as it's pretty common in older tropical resorts. Turns out the mattress in this room was very old, as it had huge craters where bodies have been sleeping for years. You may also be unlucky enough to be miles away from the facilities (on the other side of the noisy road) in one of their outbuildings. Generally, I believe that the hotel has overstretched its room capacity when compared to its facilities. Dinner is only served in one restaurant, which had no space for some of my fellow guests when they arrived at 8pm. I don't understand why, when at full occupancy, they wouldn't open their second outlet for dinner or add tables into their "wedding venue" to expand capacity. That said, the food at dinner was mostly good, with a decent wine list and friendly, professional service. It's a shame the chef randomly swapped ingredients around from what was shown on the menu without checking with me - resulting in me having allergens on my plate. Exactly the same issues at breakfast - some guests had a long wait for a table. Apparently the hotel offers FOC room service as an alternative to buffet breakfast, but this wasn't made clear. Perhaps a little breakfast menu card on the bed on arrival would help with this. Once again, friendly staff and decent food were on standby eventually! Getting an appointment at the spa at a preferred time (or, indeed, same-day) was pretty difficult too - it seemed fully booked for many convenient times. However, the team happily WhatsApped me when another guest cancelled and that was appreciated. BUT then... I had an appointment and turned up on time, but then they weren't ready for me - I had to leave fifteen minutes later (no treatment) as there wouldn't have been time to get it done before dinner. Lastly, the capacity at the pool feels a bit like a 3* package holiday resort - very crammed in loungers with no sense of privacy or for anyone, and lots of people looking for somewhere to sit. There was no water service and no offer of a menu or a drink at any time. The infinity pool itself is lovely and well maintained. If you are careful about room choices, and go outside of peak season when it's not full, you'll have a gorgeous time here because the staff are great and the place has a lovely vibe. Otherwise, it's nice and pleasant but just seems to miss the mark of being "excellent".

We stayed here for two days and everything was absolutely perfect! We had a stunning sea-view villa. Our thoughtful butler, Aussie, contacted us before arrival to understand our needs, even helping us arrange for a cute duck float for our in-room pool. She also came to our room for check-out, which was incredibly considerate. The room itself had everything you could wish for: snacks, drinks, honeymoon decorations – so many details worth experiencing firsthand. We enjoyed a floating breakfast, a delicious seafood barbecue with plenty of lobster and oysters and a live band on our first night, and a romantic dinner with a charming private setup and roses on the beach on our second. The food was, of course, delightful. You absolutely can't miss their infinity pool, it truly feels like you're swimming in the ocean! We also tried the spa and morning yoga, both highly recommended. Every single staff member here was so friendly and polite, creating a truly comfortable atmosphere. It's definitely worth experiencing if you get the chance, and we can't wait to return!
