I called in on Saturday afternoon to see what were the available time slots and was able to book a 4pm appointment without any issues. They sent my phone number a text with my appointment time and another text with a map to show where I could park in the shopping center they're located at and included a suggestion to arrive at least five minutes early in order to get checked in and prepared for the massage session because the clock for the session starts right away with no grace period.
The first impression when walking into the establishment was positive one with the person working the front counter giving me a warm greeting. The waiting room was clean and the subdued lights lent to a relaxing atmosphere. When led to the massage room you could tell that this place was a well kept business. The interior was very clean, the rooms were neat and organized and the air temperature was just right. I'll also note that the tables are heated which adds to the comfort level.
My massage therapist was Cindy. She did an outstanding job of really addressing the areas that I noted were causing me to pain. One of the things that helped her was that I let her know when she hit the trigger points during the massage. Once she knew that, she started to focus and explore for muscle that was knotted up or overly tense in those areas.
One thing to note, if you're a not used to getting massages or your threshold for pain isn't very high, a deep tissue Thai massage may be overwhelming because the therapist will use their elbows and heel, if you allow them to walk on your back, with their weight behind it to go after knotted up muscles in the back and shoulder area. It is quite painful but if you are able to take the pain you will get a lot of relief afterwards.
After the session is completed, you pay at the counter and any tip you want to leave the therapist is given there as well. Also to note, they do take credit card but prefer Venmo and if you pay cash, there's a slight discount.
