My husband and I spent two nights at this amazing Inn. Everything about it was fabulous. From the picturesque landscape, to the well appointed rooms, to the quiet and peaceful grounds. The staff was incredible. Fabio, David, and Logan made our stay even better. We woke up every morning to a beautiful wooden box containing fresh pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, and juices. It was a fantastic location to sit and enjoy the beauty of the area and also as a launching point for wine tours and visiting the area. You will not regret staying here. The only thing we regretted was having to leave.

Highly recommend this amazing Bed & Breakfast. Extremely comfortable bed, huge bathroom, lovely balcony! Also out in the country surrounded by vineyard but close to downtown Napa and right on highway 29 to easily get to all the wineries. We took advantage of the barn in back and played Scrabble one evening and also rode the complimentary electric bikes. Each morning we woke up early and walked down the quiet road next to the B&B. The pastries and orange juice were wonderful, though we did also go to breakfast each morning to get a little protein before vineyard hopping. Highly recommend this spectacular place to stay!

We found it to be very clean and comfortable. The manager, Candice was fantastic. She answered every question we had, also helped with recommendations since it was our first time in Napa. Each morning we were greeted with fresh baked pastries, orange juice and some condiments. My wife loved the heated floor in the large bathroom. We sat outside at night in their yard enjoying their firepit sipping wine. Highly recommended.

Hard to expand on any of the other 5 star comments on the Inn. We arrived a little early for check in ( two hours) but Candice gave us a warm welcome and took us to our room and explained everything in great detail. The room is very well appointed, the bed was very comfortable and we really appreciated the quality of the towels. Odd thing to say but after having so many thin towels elsewhere it was nice to have such luxurious ones.||Our first night was rather warm so took the opportunity to have a wine in the garden before dinner. It is a great setting to meet other couples and enjoy the evening. Sadly the next night was cooler so didn’t use the facilities in the garden or barn. ||Carlos was on duty on Sunday and managed to book a table at a local restaurant at short notice even though it was Mother’s Day. His recommendation was spot on.||On checkout Candice followed us out to the car to wish us safe travels. It was so nice to have staff so helpful and pleasant making our stay so enjoyable. Thank you Team.

The moment I stepped into the property, I was absolutely blown away. Nestled in the heart of wine country, the inn is surrounded by stunning vineyard views and peaceful landscapes that make it feel like a hidden gem. The room itself was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable—easily one of the most inviting spaces I’ve ever stayed in. From the plush bedding to the elegant design, every detail was thoughtfully curated to create a perfect retreat. But what really made this experience unforgettable was Candice, the host. After I checked out and headed off for a round of golf, I had no idea I’d left my AirPods behind. To my complete surprise, Candice not only found them but actually drove out to the golf course and left them at the counter for me—without me even realizing they were missing! I was genuinely speechless. Her kindness and willingness to go that far out of her way is something you just don’t see anymore. I’ve honestly never written a review before, but after this experience, I knew I had to. This level of hospitality deserves to be shared. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home with hosts that truly care, look no further. Thank you, Candice, for turning a simple stay into something truly special.

We had an absolutely fabulous time at The Setting Inn. We had booked it for one night and I only wish we had longer here. Beautiful scenery, beautifully decorated rooms and communal space and lovely people. Carlos was extremely attentive. We organised a wine tasting on site and were expertly led by Katie who went above and beyond to make our experience a special one. They catered amazingly for me as I am coeliac and the whole time there was just incredible. Breakfast delivered to the door with fresh pastries and 12pm check out included was just the icing on the cake. We will certainly be back and rave about it to all we know headed to Napa!

We had an amazing stay at The Setting Inn. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated and Carlos was a great host. We also had a great afternoon wine tasting with Katie from Setting Wines. She was a fantastic host and the wines were all excellent. We will be back.

Absolutly will go back. We stayed in the bungalow...great for 2 couples. Fresh bakery, pastries every morning. Able to accommodate our dietary restrictions for one of our party. Beds super comfortable, spotless clean bathrooms. Gym for yoga, walking trail right outside the door, staff who were friendly and knowledgeable. Housekeeping is excellent. Great location for Yountsville and close the Napa proper.

Yelp
A friend recommended The Setting Inn, and I'm so glad that he did. It is such a lovely little place. Check in is at 4 pm, and we arrived right around that time. The receptionist offered to give us a tour of the common areas before she took us to our room. First, she showed us a cute little outdoor area with a large frame for photo taking opportunities. Next, she took us to a separate barn space, which guests have access to 24-7. It is heated, has snacks, drinks, and games. The property only has six rooms, so I'd imagine that if you reserved a block of rooms for a wedding or something, the barn would be an awesome space for you to hang out with friends. We loved our room! It was surprisingly spacious and had a balcony with a nice sitting area. Had it not been raining, I absolutely would have spent some time out there enjoying the outdoor space. The room decor was modern, the room itself was very clean and must have been updated/renovated recently. There was a little kitchen area with a sink, a fridge, and the nicest Nespresso machine that I have ever encountered in a hotel. The fridge comes stocked with an extra bottle of water, two sodas, and a chilled bottle of white wine available for purchase. There are also plates, glasses, and silverware available for your use. The bathroom was so awesome that it deserves a paragraph of its own. It was enormous, with heated floors, a full size bathtub, and a large shower. The shower faucet is located near the shower entrance, not under the shower head like most showers, so you can adjust the temperature to your liking without getting doused with a stream of ice-cold water. The towels were enormous, looked brand new, and there were robes and slippers too. A couple of other nice room touches-wine bottles available for purchase, a remote control for the room blinds, and a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was a very pleasant surprise- they deliver Bouchon pastries to your room, along with some fresh fruit and orange juice. I really do appreciate the little things hotels do to try to make your stay feel more luxurious and special, and for us, this amenity was the icing on the cake of what was already a wonderful stay. I'd highly recommend staying at the Setting Inn, particularly if you prefer to stay somewhere with a little more character and charm than the larger hotel chains.

Yelp
Had an incredible stay at The Setting Inn ! We were in town for the Blue Note Jazz Festival and wanted a different experience from the usual hotel options available with ballooned prices. Upon arrival, we were shown the property by both Laura and were able to check in early once Carlos arrived - both were super hosts. The property itself was meticulously manicured and well take care of. There are cottages and separate rooms, available within the house itself - rooms are located upstairs. The rooms themselves are nicely decorated with enough storage for clothing, in-room kitchenette w/plates, glasses, cutlery, small fridge and various drink choices - wine is additional cost and well noted. The bathrooms contain both shower and deep soaking tubs. The grounds themselves are so cool, you can stay in the property all day and have a blast. Laura will leave fruit and pasties outside your door daily - everything was yummy ! There is a separate barn area, which acts as an outside living room, and is stock piled with seating, snacks, TV, board games, guitar, restrooms and exercise equipment ! There is also an additional gazebo seating area with a water feature and lastly you are surrounded by vineyards. What more can you ask for ? Will definitely be back for a longer stay !

Yelp
Wow, really cannot say enough great things about this place. Exactly what I envisioned from the movies set in Napa. Candice went so far above and beyond for us, words cannot accurate express how great she was to our group. We stayed in the cottage; surprisingly reasonable the cost was given the amenities, space, finishes and service was. The only negative is not wanting this place to become known as we want to be able to easily secure resos moving forward. Will always check availability here first when coming to Napa, hands down. Do yourself favor and stay here! Also only a mile or so away from our favorite winery, Hill Family Estate- make a reservation. Amazing wine and vineyard.

Yelp
Beautiful, quaint, quiet and relaxing!! The grounds and rooms are awesome and look just like the photos! The pastry's delivered fresh every morning was such a nice touch! This is a small hotel with a B&B, boutique vibe. The rooms are spacious and have all you need. Will definitely return for a more extended visit next time.

Yelp
Sometimes you see reviews that say "I don't want to review this place because I don't want others to find out about it". I've never had that thought until now. This place is legit. I believe it's a 7 bedroom property. 3 Upstairs, 2 downstairs, and a detached 2 bedroom cottage. I stayed here for two nights over the Thanksgiving Holiday with my fiance. We booked a Queen room, but they had a King suite available and upgraded us. What a treat. Our mornings started off with Bouchon Bakery being delivered to our door that included 3 pastries, fresh fruit, and OJ. There is a nice Nespresso machine in the room and drip coffee in the lobby. There was also a wetbar that included: sink, refrigerator, microwave, plates, silverware with knives. That was a nice touch. Being able to grab food to go somewhere and still feel like a real meal when you ate in your room or on patio. Being able to grab food to go somewhere and still feel like a real meal when you ate in your room or on the patio. Room was very modern. Other amenities included: digital keypad doorlock, heated bathroom floor, motorized shades with remote, fireplace, rainfall shower, & a very deep soaking tub for 2. The bed was outstanding. Down pillows & soft sheets. One of the best beds away from home in a while. The communal courtyard was great. We were able to light one of the chimineas and enjoy a couple games of cornhole while sipping wine in the evening. It felt like we had the whole property to ourselves. Staff is friendly. Carlos worked the "night shift" and he was amazing (property isn't staffed after 7PM). He went out of his way to make us comfortable, bringing us snacks and making sure we had everything we needed. We also sampled a few of their estate wines and they were absolutely phenomenal, don't miss out on tasting. We used the electric bikes on site to ride to Yountville for lunch one day. The Napa Valley Vine Trail is like 10 feet from the entrance to the property, easy access. Negatives & areas that could improve: The road noise. The property sits right next to St. Helena Highway. I heard road noise at 10PM when going to sleep and then at 5AM when I woke up. If you're a light sleeper, this might be an issue. Also, could hear people taking the stairs above us and moving around since we were groundfloor. The A/C unit is one of those small wall mounted units and it sucks. Luckily we stayed in November and really didn't need it. But this probably would have been an issue if it was summer. They have TV's in the room, but it would have been nice to have been able to stream a movie from our phone or iPad when settling in for bed. Most places have that option now. Will I return? Absolutely! Unforutunately, like most Napa properties, there isn't a pool here. That paired with the A/C, I'd probably opt for another property if I find myself in Napa during the summer. But the other 9 months out the year, The Setting Inn is an absolute gem for me. I already booked their sister property in Willamette Valley for my birthday next year. Looking forward to returning to the Napa Property.

Yelp
We live just a 25-minute drive from Napa. My husband booked a staycation for us that included a night at the Setting Inn. This place is AMAZING...Very Romantic! The property overlooks beautiful vineyards and has a cool lounge area. Our room had a balcony that overlooked the vineyards. We awoke to the sight of hot air balloons, pastries from Bouchon (yum), juice, coffee, and fresh fruit in the morning. Although the inn is right off Highway 29, we did not hear any traffic. We will DEFINITELY stay here again.v

Yelp
Stayed for two nights in early March and really enjoyed my stay! This place is so charming and the comfort (and aesthetic) touches are too many to count. Picture a cute farm house on the outskirts of Napa, next to fields of grape vines, with misty hills in the distance. We stayed in the King Deluxe room and it felt luxurious in every respect. The suite has a large bathroom, deep soaking tub, and extra large shower (though not two shower heads). There is a sitting area, kitchenette, and a king bed. There are windows on two walls and a large sliding glass door on the third (foot of the bed). All have motorized black out windows coverings with a remote control next to the bed. Walking in for the first time was a real wow moment. They deliver a continental breakfast each morning with beautiful pasties, a fruit bowl and orange juice. There is coffee and team in the room, with more fresh coffee in the lobby if you'd like it. Safety measures were excellent and we felt very comfortable the whole time. The set-up also made it easy to have food delivered if you want to avoid going to restaurants, though the area seems to be doing very well with outdoor dining.

Yelp
The Setting Inn had everything I could have hoped for in our Napa stay. Let's start with the GM David Kerr, who helped us make our reservations, checked us in, and showed us the grounds. We were so impressed with the inn and the boutiquey feeling it had. It really felt like home. The staff, including the cleaners and Carlos were kind and accommodating. There was never anything we needed that wasn't brought to us within minutes. When we checked in we were able to use their electric bikes to bike to town for lunch which was so fun on the bike path. David, the GM, set us up with some private wine tastings throughout the weekend and dinner reservations which did not disappoint. I have been to Napa a few times, but never like this. David's expertise of the area really helped us have that much better of an experience. On day 2 we did a wine tasting at the inn which was hosted by David. The wines are incredible! I'd highly recommend starting or ending with a tasting at the inn to add to your itinerary. Every morning Bouchon Bakery by Thomas Keller arrives at your door at 8:00am with pastries, croissants, fruit, and fresh squeezed OJ. In the room you have a Nespresso machine, but in the lobby they also serve some of the best coffee I have ever tasted. In the room the linens are lovely, the patios are quaint and beautiful, and each room has an amazing view of vineyards. There are common areas to sit and enjoy wine you've bought or have your coffee along with cards, board games, beautiful public restrooms, and more! Such a cool place to hang out. The gym has a Peloton and some equipment, but I did not make it there this trip! Ha! I really can't say enough about our experience at The Setting Inn, and we cannot wait to return! Try their Sauvignon Blanc!!!

Yelp
We had the most amazing stay here! Everything was absolutely perfect for my husband and I to celebrate our elopement. From the cleanliness, to the unique charm, the on-site private wine tasting, breakfast brought to our doorstep in the morning. Beds were super comfortable which is important to us, and we felt right at home! Michael who did the wine tasting gave us a great experience. David and the staff were wonderful and so kind. We will 100% be coming back!

Yelp
My wife and I hosted our small wedding here last week and it was incredible! From the moment we started planning David Kerr the GM was amazing and when we got to the inn for our big day him and his team were so well prepared to deliver and amazing wedding. On top of that, staying at the Inn is like a dream. It's the perfect mix of comfy like a home mixed with napa valley luxury. The beds are so comfy and all of the amenities make relaxing so easy. The morning of our wedding we woke up with fresh pastries outside our door and watched the hot air balloons float by with coffee in hand. This place is pure magic!

Yelp
We had a great stay at The Setting Inn during a short trip to Santa Rosa and Napa. The location and staff here are wonderful. Ashley, Niki, and Maria will make you feel right at home in wine country. The room we stayed in was incredibly beautiful and comfortable. The breakfast and local recommendations were awesome. My wife and I loved having our morning coffee on the patio while walking around the grounds. We would highly recommend staying here.

Yelp
Came here after an overpriced stay in Yountville and was greeted by David our gracious and friendly host who was as full of great information as he served us for a bottle of their award-winning Sauvignon Blanc in their Barn lounge. The property's lives up to its name and is quite the setting amongst the vineyards with its modern charm with a touch of Magnolia Farms-takes on-Napa. Super clean, extremely well thought-out hotelier couture and experiential. Modern touch points like automated shades that open up to a private vineyard, private entrance to my suite, sliding barn-doors and carved-wood walnut floors remind you that someone was expecting you here a long time ago. And the Bed-just perfect and thick/pillowy soft and luxurious. I would like to live here forever.

Yelp
This place is one the most romantic places that my wife and I have ever been! Everything about The Setting Inn is aesthetically pleasing, you'll never want to leave, because I sure didn't! They are a small property, so I recommend booking in advance. Also, rather than booking through Expedia or a 3rd party site, go ahead and give them a call, you might get David, who provided us with top notch customer service from the moment we booked, to the moment we arrived! Also, by giving them a call you'll be able to include more details about your trip giving them the opportunity to set up your room accordingly or even offer an upgrade :) We booked for one night, which simply was not enough time. They have great amenities that include: -Electric Bikes -A beautiful barn with games and a comfy lounge area -A huge backyard with a fire pit and plenty of room to picnic -Nespresso Coffee machine in room -Bouchon Bakery delivered to your door at 8am If you've ever wondered what it was like to live the country life, surrounded by vineyards and stargazing on your balcony, The Setting Inn is absolutely it! It certainly was like a dream come true.. we can't wait to come back!

Yelp
My fiancé and I stopped in Napa for a one night stay. This was a perfect place! Beautiful room!! We didn't want to leave it was so nice. Loved the coffee in the morning and Bouchon Bakery brought to your room. Enjoyed riding the ebikes on the bike path through some of Napa. The Inn is in a great location. Most of all, what made this a top notch experience was our wine tasting with Michael!! Highly recommend. Loved our conversation and the Setting Inn wines we tasted. It made for such a special and memorable evening. Thanks Michael! We will be back!

Yelp
We recently stayed at The Setting Inn and had the absolute best time. Our room was extremely clean and beautiful. It wasn't JUST the fresh coffee every morning, beautiful views, or the great breakfast that was placed outside our room that set this place apart, but it was the staff and management. I felt the entire crew kept a close eye on our needs and always made sure we were happy. They were quick to help us find a ride or simply recommend a nice place to eat. We will definitely be back and look forward to seeing David, Carlos, and the rest of the amazing folks who made our stay so special.

Yelp
Full disclosure--I know the owner Kevin. That being said, I am aware of his experience in the hospitality industry and personal in-depth knowledge of the Napa Valley. So my expectations of his own property were pretty high. What better critic than your friends right? First, the location is great. Yountville is about 8-10 mins away, downtown Napa to Oxbow Market is 15 mins. You're close to modern amenities(Target etc), but far enough that city lights and noise aren't a distraction. I couldn't get enough of seeing a night sky full of stars. We woke up this morning to the sounds of....NOTHING. Birds? The vineyard soaking up the sun? Amazing. Second, the bed is the most comfortable thing I've ever slept on. Makes me reconsider my overpriced memory foam mattress I bought a few months ago! I'm not sure what sort of sinful magic they are doing but the bedding was ultra soft and I wanted to just spend all day snuggling in bed with my Nespresso (more on that in a bit) and my book. We stayed in the Oak Knoll suite which was spacious and had a lovely porch to sit and enjoy. The room had a wet bar with a microwave, a fridge to store our leftovers and amenities such as flatware, plates and wine glasses/ water glasses/ mugs. It also had a Nespresso machine. My favorite way to make espresso without the mess. And it tastes delicious. What's not to love? I also appreciated that a fresh carton of half and half was also thoughtfully placed in the fridge along with complimentary waters and wine. The floors in the bathroom are heated. What the what!!? I'm not ashamed to say I stood in the bathroom just to enjoy this experience. The soaking tub made me feel like a mermaid. From L'Occitane products, the bathrobes and slippers, to the fresh Bouchon pastries and orange juice delivered every morning, the experience at NVH was incredible. The comfort and needs of guests were carefully thought out in the rooms and the amenities. They have free WiFi, parking and can also help arrange activities and reservations if you need suggestions. If you're looking for an elegant and comfortable getaway, I can't recommend NVH enough.

Yelp
Best experience ever! From the initial phone call to make a reservation to our departure, David Kerr and his excellent staff made my wife and I feel like royalty. Far exceeded our expectations. Every detail was made to ensure an exceptional 5 star experience from heated bathroom floor, fireplace, electronic window shades, wet bar and lush bedding. Perfect place to pamper your new wife and we will definitely be back again!

Yelp
I'll start on a positive note. The place is nicely updated. Breakfast from Bouchon Bakery was lovely. Coffee downstairs is good but not out until 8:15 and I could have really used it earlier! Bed was way too soft and bring your own pillows. However, the manager was too busy taking selfies when we walked in to acknowledge us for check in. We waited for him to finish and got the speech with the details to the place in total deadpan expression. We thought that maybe he was having a bad day. Not one smile from him the whole weekend. Had his earbuds in when we left. No goodbye and thank you. He must truly hate his job. It's hard not to let this effect the feel of our experience here. The hospitality business is not the right place for this guy!!! You might think he was a young college student. This is not the case. Too bad!

Yelp
The Setting Inn is the best of the best! Came for a girls weekend and they were over the top accommodating. From the morning pastry delivery and amazing French press coffee to the private dinner setup, and wine tasting in the barn we could not have asked for anything better. The Inn itself is ADORABLE! Beds are so comfy and the place is so so cute and clean. Very close to downtown Yountville and gorgeous winery views... Can't wait to come back to The Setting.

Yelp
Such a beautiful setting (no pun intended). Quiet, peaceful property. The rooms were very spacious. Very nice furniture, super cute decor/themes. Comfortable beds + bedding (we all know this is impt). Gorgeous bathrooms! Very well designed space with thoughtful touches to vertical mirrors + more. Sliding barn doors, chic lounging chairs in rooms (perfectly placed w/views). Bouchon Bakery delivered to your doorstep in the morning (I mean if you're from the area, you know how special that is)! It was a bit on the pricey side - but you get what you pay for. They've done a great job w/their exterior space. Nice green in the back w/yard games. Barn w/board games. Smaller fitness center, but nice equipment for anyone wishing to get a quick workout in. Overall, The Setting Inn is located right off Hwy-29 and is the perfect location, easy access to the valley wineries or downtown Napa.

Yelp
FIVE emphatic STARS. CAN'T MISS. I can't imagine a better place to stay for a luxurious and romantic stay in Napa. We stayed during January 2019 and prices couldn't be beat at $200/night via the Napa Vineyard Inn website. It was really too good to be true. Some other reviewers noted that Kevin, the proprietor was so gracious, and I was thinking, "oh, maybe they know him, etc." but WOW they were right. It takes alot of thought and effort to really extend your hospitality on a personal level each time and Kevin came through. He texted me the day prior to check on our arrival time and ensure we had everything we needed to get in. We arrived late so he left the key in the room along with a lovely birthday card and cake from Bouchon, for my husband. Kevin's a true gem and I can't recommend him or his establishment enough. On the way out, we just dropped the key by the lobby and he emailed me my portfolio. Note: this place goes by Napa Vineyard House on Yelp, but on tripadvisor, is listed under Napa Vineyard Inn. If giving directions to locals/googlemaps you may wish to try either/or. Highlights: -HUGE suite, I'm thinking around 700-800 sq ft, maybe more -HEATED bathroom floors. You can adjust temp if you want toasty toes in the morning -clean, wood floors -three pastries from Bouchon in Yountville delivered each morning, different selection on each morning -All suites (with patio, expansive bathroom, sitting areas, kitchenette) -microwave, Nespresso machine, sink, dish soap/sponge, plates, silverware, glasses, mugs -complimentary water bottles, white wine, two sodas, fresh half and half, extra Nespresso capsules (espresso, coffee, and decaf options) -extremely clear and responsive communication with proprietor, Kevin. He met several custom requests for us, including a birthday cake delivery, refresh of our slippers, and was just super accomodating. -complimentary umbrellas to take wine tasting -Adjacent to all the best restaurants in Yountville. (halfway b/w Yountville and downtown Napa, so a last minute CVS run was convenient, as was evening dining in Yountville) -cable channels/including HBO -gas fireplace -bedside control for BLACKOUT curtains -private patio -L'Occitane toiletries (shower cap, file, makeup wipe, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, q tips/cotton rounds) Cons (ish) -no pool/hottub, if that's something you're looking for during summer months. We came in winter and our extra deep, gigantic bathroom tub bubbled up with L'Occitane bath gel, was more hygienic and intimate anyways. -some minor bleach stains on the couch and discoloration on the rug, they both looked recently cleaned so probably just scars from a previous stain. This wasn't an issue for us, and maybe added some rustic flare to the otherwise spotless room. Incredible stay and can't wait to be back. It was so good, it made us consider doing an annual trip. A little bittersweet giving this review since I imagine it will get harder and possibly more pricey to stay here once more folks start booking. Thank you Napa Vineyard Inn for an unforgettable and truly lovely stay.

Yelp
Our stay was phenomenal! Check-in was a swift and safe experience. Views were epic from our balcony, truly puts you in the setting of wine country! Soaking in tub was relaxing for the Wife & I after a scenic e-bike ride to Yountville. This is an absolute hidden gem! Talk about there wine.. Thank you!

Yelp
Recently stayed here and could not recommend this place enough! The room itself was beautiful along with the common area in the back. It felt luxurious while also feeling right at home. The staff there are excellent and the room itself was in excellent condition. A must stay in Napa Valley!

Yelp
I've been to Napa several times and stayed in many different hotels. The Setting Inn is my new favorite place in Napa. Absolutely amazing hotel with amazing service, the attention to detail is incredible. Great location with amazing views of the vineyards. Highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

Yelp
We had the most amazing weekend celebrating my husband's 40th birthday in Napa. The Setting Inn was the perfect place to cal home while we were there. David Kerr put together a fabulous weekend for our group, making reservations at different wineries, arranging transportation, and making sure every detail was not overlooked. The yummy breakfasts were the perfect way to start the day. We even took the ebikes for a spin around the vineyards. Thank you Setting Inn for an unforgettable stay.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and had such an incredible stay! The suite was so clean, beautiful, and extremely comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location and the views were great and it was just a quick bike ride to downtown Yountville. I look forward to staying there again!

This was my first time to Napa, and I wanted to make it special for my girlfriend and myself. After looking through multiple reviews on multiple review sites I settled on The Setting Inn. Many of the reviews mention David, and I contacted him about my reservation. David was extremely helpful and assisted us in setting a great itinerary for our vacation. The inn itself is large enough to be accommodating, but small enough to feel homey. The staff are extremely kind and ready to help, and we found Carlos particularly accommodating. From my side I can say that if this is your first time to the heart of Napa, this is an excellent choice. My girlfriend has been to Napa quite a few times though, and still raves about the location, comfort, and just how kind the staff is. Oh, and if you aren't sold yet here are a few treats. They have heated bathroom floors, they bring excellent locally made croissants and other pastries from the local bakery every morning along with orange juice, and they have really nice glass bottles of water stocked in the fridge. The curtains are in a control that sit next to the bed and can either black out or light up the room with natural light at the flick of a switch.

Yelp
WOW! The rooms are very well and tastefully appointed. The views of the vineyards from the rooms are breathtaking. The property is cute, private, and quiet. This setting gives the feeling and comfort of being home. We had the pleasure of having David show us around and he hosted a wine tasting in the barn. I must say that I was blown away by The Setting Wine, so elegant. If you want a super cute place to stay where you can actually relax and enjoy the space and beauty of Napa, look no further.

Yelp
The Setting Inn is unparalleled!! It's the perfect place for a romantic getaway or a larger group trip; I've done both! The Inn is immaculate and has all of the amenities you need, even a little gym with a peloton and bikes you can take down the cute walking path. The location is perfect as well, nestled between Yountville, Napa, and St. Helena- it's better than being in the chaos of Napa yet still centrally located. What sets the The Setting Inn apart most of all is the staff and General Manager who is always available to help with whatever you need. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and taken care of. David the GM will help you with your entire itinerary and make you feel like a special guest at any winery you show up to. Don't miss out on this gem!! Rent a room or the entire property! Plus they have their own wines. The Sauv Blanc is a must have.

Yelp
Second time at the Setting Inn and it's unmatched to any other place I've stayed at in the world. David and his staff are polite friendly and very welcoming. His vast knowledge on grapes, wine and the region is extraordinary.

Yelp
Wow! Wow! Wow! I was so blown away by this place in every way. From the outside, it is very unassuming, but it did not take very long for our jaws to drop and for our group to fall in love with this place. The rooms are unbelievably beautiful, clean, elegant and homey. Standing on the porch, glass of wine in hand, and looking out at a vineyard with the sun setting had to be the highlight of the weekend! On top of the wonderful property and feel, the service that David K. provided was in a class of its own. He made us feel like we were at a Michelin Star restaurant. The wine... well let's just say our group went home with several boxes of wine. As we were discussing and debating - "what makes a good wine good?".. the most common answer was "the experience that's attached to it". I think it's fair to say we have found our new favorite wine at The Setting Inn :)

Yelp
If I could rate The Setting Inn with more than 5 stars I would! It was the perfect getaway nestled amongst a beautiful vineyard. It was extremely charming and had a cute boutique feel. The entire staff was all very kind and accommodating. We loved the views, décor and comfortable bedding. The GM, David was extremely helpful and we enjoyed a few private wine tasting with him where the wine was incredible. He also helped our group with arrangements at other wineries, reservations and transportation. It was like we had our own private event planner! It was a nice treat to have breakfast delivered from a local bakery each morning. Thank you for this incredible experience! Looking forward to our next excuse to visit the The Setting Inn!

Yelp
The Setting Inn is a combination of charm and elegance. It is privately tucked away from the tourist crowding of downtown Napa. Yet, easily accessible to both Napa and the lovely town of Yountville. The management of the property is extremely attentive while still maintaining your request for privacy. The Inn has a limited number (6) of beautiful expansive rooms with private entrances, a plus during! Great views, ebikes, soaking tubs, luxurious beds, and breakfast at your door every morning! I left the Setting Inn rested and recharged!

Yelp
This is the perfect inn for a weekend getaway! My fiancé and I spent the night here for our anniversary. From the moment we walked into the lobby to check in we were welcomed with hospitality. Carlos checked us in and he provided us with excellent customer service. Our room was very clean, very comfortable, and had a patio with a beautiful view. We enjoyed watching the hot air balloons in the morning, while eating our delicious breakfast from Bouchon Bakery. This afternoon we did a wine tasting with Michael. Michael was very nice and knowledgeable. He shared interesting information about the wine we were tasting. The wine tasted stellar! The staff went above and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this inn for anyone visiting Napa!

Yelp
Wow!! What an exceptionally beautiful place. Husband and I came to celebrate our Anniversary and we were in awe the entire time. From the check in service to the last minute of us staying there. The room we had was Oak Knoll I believe and it was beautiful, large, bright and very freshly updated room. The place had nice garden and a hang out barn area that is perfect to relax and enjoy your stay. It is in the heart of winery area so definitely had gorgeous views. Complimentary E-Bikes were a great addition as we took them for a ride several times. Oh and breakfast delivered right to our door at 8am was perfect. Honestly the most welcoming, charming and relaxing place I ever stated at. The GM David was great and so friendly. Definitely need to come back:))

Yelp
After an amazing weekend in paradise, I simply have to add to the "Five Star Pile-a-Thon" this bed-and-breakfast richly deserves. The location; very large room and bathroom; cute porch; amenities in the room, Nespresso coffee, and of course, the 8 AM breakfast delivery; winetasting on property; and David, manager extraordinaire. That man was everywhere. I don't think he goes home. Like, ever. What a gracious host! Thank you so very much, we will absolutely be returning again and again.

Yelp
Great time at Setting Inn for my girlfriends birthday! Beds are sooooo comfy and absolutely amazing staff, David is so helpful and accommodating, the service was FIVE STAR. Loved waking up to our delicious breakfast pastries and fresh juice. The barn in the yard is so fun to hang out in all together with games and wine, before we went out to dinners and in the evenings when we were back from dinner. Thank you Setting Inn for a wonderful time ^_^!

Yelp
Our daughter and her fiancee held their wedding and reception at The Setting Inn last week and it was a completely wonderful experience from start to finish. They had booked all of the rooms at The Inn for wedding guests, including the cottage for themselves. Our room, a Deluxe King in the historic farmhouse, was unbelievable! Views of the surrounding vineyards, a fireplace, large flat screen, internet, gorgeous bathroom, and on and on - it was just perfection! To open your door each morning and find a lovely assortment of fresh fruit, juice, and pastries from Bouchon Bakery starts the day off just right. If you're considering this as a location for a wedding or other special occasion you can't go wrong - David Kerr, the General Manager was outstanding and in complete control of every detail from the wedding party gathering the night before with a selection of The Setting Wines, all the way through the day of the wedding and the guests' departures the following day. The staff, especially Carlos, was fantastic and really made for a flawless experience. We will definitely stay here again for a nice wine country getaway weekend in the future - can't imagine staying anywhere else! Wish I could give it ten stars!

Yelp
We loved our stay here! David helped us plan the perfect trip! From the breakfast at our door every morning to all the little details, it was an amazing time for us all. I would highly recommend a stay here if you are in the Napa area. We will definitely be back soon!

Yelp
First class resort...ambiance, beauty, amenities, beauty, and hospitality blend to create a relaxing stay. Right next to a vineyard...serene views from your room of the mountain slopes, vineyard, and early morning hot air balloons. Warm hospitality from Manager David and expert tastings from Sommelier Michael. Stay at The Setting Inn for a truly excellent experience!

Yelp
Whether a romantic getaway or a group trip, this is the perfect spot! The rooms are fantastic, the grounds are beautiful, and each detail of the "experience" of Napa is considered. The manager, David, helped curate the perfect weekend. From transportation, to local recommendations, he knows and loves Napa and enjoys sharing it with guests. A couple of highlights, for me, was a romantic ride with my husband on the E-bikes, and a dinner with friends provided by the awesome local chef on the grounds of The Setting. The overall ambiance and experience of the trip was unforgettable. I would highly recommend!

Yelp
I've stayed at The Setting Inn twice now and it never disappoints! It's quiet and relaxing with so many stylish, cozy and thoughtful details. It would be the perfect place to book out for the weekend if you had a large group or for a wedding. David and the rest of the staff were so accommodating and helped us arrange a private dinner. Our bus even broke down one day and David came to pick us up. Talk about 5 star service! We had the best time at The Setting Inn and can't wait to go back.

Yelp
The Setting Inn was a picturesque, spacious, warm and inviting place to stay. The rooms were luxurious and felt as if you stepped into a magazine. The hospitality of the staff exceeded my expectations and try ensured our stay was perfect. The GM David checked in on everyone frequently ensuring that our stay was perfect. I would highly recommend The Setting Inn!

Yelp
The Setting Inn is exactly what you want your Inn experience to be, even during Covid. The GM, David, is so nice, professional and fun to talk to. He made sure we went to tastings and restaurants that suited our tastes. The Setting is small, personal and perfect for your trip to Napa/Yountville, since it is centrally located between the two towns. The rooms are clean and comfortable and beautifully designed. The breakfast is delicious, including pastries from Bouchon Bakery. This is the place to stay whether it is your first trip to the Napa Valley, or your twentieth. Love, love, LOVE The Setting Inn.

Yelp
5 star experience. 5 star host. Look no further when finding your Napa home base. The manager is incredibly good looking and if he was sending me selfies I would not complain.

Yelp
This place was amazing! My wife and I had the pleasure of staying here for a weekend and wow were we happy with our choice. The accommodations are incredible and all the staff are both very kind and attentive. It's the small details like them hand delivering breakfast each morning that make you feel special. The surrounding vineyards, the barn, and overall feel really puts you at ease to enjoy your time in Napa. Highly recommend, I know I will definitely by staying here again for my next visit to Napa.

Yelp
Stayed here for my one year anniversary. We fell in love with how private and cozy this place is. We stayed in the cottage and loved it! David, the general manager is so hospitable and accommodating. As this was our first time in Napa, he set our entire weekend up for us and hosted us on the first day. I came home telling all my friends and family about what an amazing time we had here. Looking forward to making it an annual trip

Yelp
I cannot say enough good things about The Setting Inn. The photos online did not do this place justice. We were blown away by the breakfast delivered to the door every morning, the private patio off our room, the yard with games and fun things to do. My husband and I both agreed we will 1000% be staying here next time we're in Napa.
