"Farm to Table I'm not one for posting food photos, but I had to make an exception for this one. I was seated at a table at the Le Puy bed and breakfast in Newberg, OR. As this wonderful dish was placed in front of me, the innkeeper informed me that the eggs used to prepare this meal were taken from the farm right out the window. Now, I've heard the phrase "farm to table," but I've never eaten a meal where I could actually SEE the farm FROM my table. Breakfast was great, and I applaud the innkeeper and the chickens."

My husband and I spent two nights at this amazing Inn. Everything about it was fabulous. From the picturesque landscape, to the well appointed rooms, to the quiet and peaceful grounds. The staff was incredible. Fabio, David, and Logan made our stay even better. We woke up every morning to a beautiful wooden box containing fresh pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, and juices. It was a fantastic location to sit and enjoy the beauty of the area and also as a launching point for wine tours and visiting the area. You will not regret staying here. The only thing we regretted was having to leave.

The Setting Inn was included in a wine package purchased at a charity auction. Beautiful boutique hotel. We celebrated our anniversary and were lucky to stay in Rm 4 with a big balcony and full valley view. Fabio welcomed us with flowers and chocolates too.|Breakfast served in a wooden box by 8:30 outside your door and includes croissants, 🥐 yogurt and fruit. Coffee and tea maker in the room. Great staff. Loved our stay.

Thank you Henry and staff for our amazing stay at the Setting Inn, early September’24. Everything was top notch. Beautiful room; sparklingly clean, butter soft linens, barefoot fantastic feel wool floors. The daily delivery of breakfast, paired with a combo of Nespresso from room, and lobby coffee = Fabulous!! Plus, wonderful pastries for my husband, and fantastic yogurt and gluten free options for me. We will always stay here on our Willamette return.

Spent a lovely few days at the Setting Inn! The staff was so welcoming, happy to help us make plans and accommodate any requests. Our room (#1) had a spectacular view of the spring green valley and the bed and chairs were very comfortable. It was too cold to take much advantage of the outdoor areas but it was easy to imagine in summer how nice they would be. Having the breakfast box with fresh baked goods left at our door each morning with freshly made coffee just down the stairs was so convenient and made it feel like a luxury home away from home. It's very tucked away, which makes it a serene getaway, but presents a little bit of a challenge -- the driveway is a hard to see, especially at night with cars coming full speed behind and in front of you. Lights across the gate or at the edge of the driveway would be helpful!

Fantastic stay and outstanding hosts. Fabio and Mel helped us out when we had to last minute change our reservation dates due to a family emergency. They also went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed upon check in. Fabio provided local restaurant and winery information and was happy to make reservations as needed. The rooms are absolutely beautiful and the setting...well it is called The Setting Inn - picture perfect with room to explore, games, firepits, etc. Breakfast is delicious and we even had mimosa's with ours! I will stay again and can most definitely recommend The Setting Inn. Thank you Mel and Fabio for a wonderful weekend.

Yelp
The setting inn , is a lovely place to spend a few gorgeous days in the Willamette wine region. We had a beautiful suite, girls trip! ( honestly this place could be so romantic for a couple or a girls trip or a family reunion or a holiday) We enjoyed the property so much they had the best music piped into the lobby , there's a small gym. there's a tasting room that is gorgeous(by appointment only) The sweetest little box every single morning delivered to your room, fresh orange juice, pastries, yogurt, fresh fruit . Just wonderful.. This particular property is centrally located to so many of the Willamette wineries. You will not have to go far at all. Beautiful robes in the room, Nespresso coffee( my favorite) Beautiful krafes of freshwater delivered daily . we did a day of hiking, a day of wine tasting. We did a day of shopping.. it's a great location anda gorgeous property

Yelp
Wine Tasting Trip to the Willamette Valley. The Setting Inn is an ideal place to stay for a wine getaway. Property is located in Newberg Oregon, within the Willamette Valley, which is known for their delicious Pinot Noir wine varietal. There is gate at the entry which you will have to call a phone in order to get the gate code - very secure and private. Once entering into the property you will be greeted by a super friendly staff - they offered us a refreshing drink of a light sparking wine, (it's a very nice touch). You can immediately feel the relaxation and calming ambiance. When arriving they will go over the house rules, nothing heavy duty. The best way to describe The Setting Inn is to says its a bed and breakfast without having to sit with strangers along with a boutique hotel look & feel. The rooms are clean with modern decor - comfortable bed, each room has a deck or private exterior sitting area. Perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine and take in the beauty of the location overlooking the valley. It's all super private and quiet - offering sitting areas within the courtyard, fire pit and outside games. There is also a game room (separate building) which is soon to be a private wine tasting venue. If your looking for a morning workout they have a fitness room and if needed a laundry facility. Each room has a Nespresso espresso coffee maker with espresso cups, frig, utensils, wine glasses & champagne flutes. In the frig you will find a few soft drinks and they have clean bottle water as well (glass bottle / no plastic) Other amenities include a boxed breakfast provided each morning which is delivered to your bedroom door. The box breakfast includes champagne, breads, a protein, orange juice and fruit. Everything is fresh and delicious - Great way to start a relaxing morning. The house attendants are super friendly and offer plenty of help adding suggestions to find good places for wine tasting as well as restaurants within the area. Everything about the The Setting Inn is done with care and class ! We really Loved Staying here and we will definitely return - for more wine - Make sure to book ahead. It's wonderful retreat for romance and wine tasting - sit back enjoy and relax at The Setting Inn. Note: most wineries are by appointment only, so do some research on place you want to visit and make an appointment Most place will also allow walk-in's - but the higher end wineries will want you to make an appointment its all well worth it

Yelp
My wife booked this place for three nights in November to celebrate my 60th birthday; it looked like a great property with many great reviews. Well, 11 days after we booked our room, we just got notified that they were canceling our reservation because they had a " buy out" of all their rooms that coincided with two of our three nights. I get that businesses had a hard time during covid (mine included), but this isn't the right way to regain lost revenue. These owners should be embarrassed. We spent time researching this accommodation, and now need to do so again.

Yelp
This was the perfect getaway. The inn and the rooms are so clean and beautifully decorated. The Manager, Yndi is super friendly and was extremely welcoming when we arrived. I also thought that Sydni was very friendly as well. All the rooms have gorgeous views. The property, itself is in a lovely countryside setting. They have so many nice seating areas throughout this cozy property. Their breakfast box is so good with high quality products. They noted they will be having a tasting room open soon. Their winemaker Jesse Katz is a highly respected winemaker and we are excited to visit again when their tasting room opens. You will not be disappointed if you visit this adorable inn in the beautiful countryside. It is a hidden gem.

Yelp
Recommended this place to friends coming into town and they hated their stay. Overpriced at over $500 for one night, they had a late check in so no one around for a greeting, entry was cold and uninviting, and the room was cold. The one person on site was zero help as she said, "yeah, the heat doesn't work well" as she sat with a heavy coat huddled by a space heater that at least could of offered. Box breakfast was only for one person when two where staying in the room and get a better breakfast at a Holiday Inn Express than what they got. For any price, the experience was poor and will never recommend again, in fact will tell other friends coming to visit to steer clear.

Yelp
My fiancé and I had the pleasure of staying at this incredible inn in the Willamette Valley. The inn sits on top of a beautiful hill with views of the hills, vineyards, and cows too! The host, David, was incredibly accommodating and got us anything we needed and our room was absolutely lovely with an outdoor jacuzzi right on the patio. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway, vacation, or staycation!!

Yelp
We spent one night at The Setting Inn for our Honeymoon. It was a stop we planned during a long road trip, and one that we very much looking forward to! The room and grounds were gorgeous, we had a nice stay. There is one thing I can't stop thinking about from our visit... We reserved our night prior to the Inn's official opening and used the 'first look promotion' that was offered by the Inn when we booked as the space was still under renovation. Upon arrival and seeing our room it was uncomfortable, as the manager said to us "you should have paid much more than what you did". This comment was very inappropriate and rude. We didn't feel welcomed at all. The room we stayed in would have been worth the actual price they were looking for, but that comment alone, we will be finding a new place to stay next time we're in the Willamette Valley.

Yelp
Nice upscale B&B in a very picturesque location central to many wineries. Lots of nice amenities. Owner was on site and was very friendly and welcoming. The place has been open for only 2 years and is a work in progress (game room is expanding, tasting room opening soon) but obviously a lot of work has already been done to improve the property. Lobby, landscaping and the room were all comfortable and tastefuly decorated. Would return again.

Yelp
Great place to stay when enjoying Willamette Valley wineries. Comfortable rooms, nice barn with games to play, lots of nooks to sit in and loved the swinging chairs outside. Andi, the GM added to the experience. She is a pleasure to talk with and even helped with soda water and biters when one of our guests wasn't feeling well. The views are gorgeous. Only suggestion would be to vary the breakfast boxes for those staying multiple days.

Yelp
Relatively new bed and breakfast. Clean, friendly staff. Nice sized rooms and location was very convenient. I would come back next time I go on a wine bender weekend

Yelp
I had the most AMAZING stay at The Setting Inn! My birthday was beyond special this year. Thanks to all the wonderful staff. I enjoyed the breakfast and a surprise birthday cake. I will definitely be coming back to this gorgeous place!

Yelp
What a truly amazing and magical spot! This place is GORGEOUS!! We were lucky enough to trip upon this Bed and Breakfast on our way up to Portland during the massive heat wave. My parent's AC went out with it being 115 degrees outside and needed a place to stay. Lucky us!! Management even invited my parents over to spend the day with lovely conversation and amazing wine, and A/C. The manager Gene is just lovely and so welcoming. The property is absolutely gorgeous with the interior design so elegantly decorated with big spacious rooms. The back deck offers panoramic views of the valley and wineries are a stones throw away. This place is a hidden gem and only being open under new management for a month, I can imagine it will soon be booked out for months. I can't believe this is their first review, and I'm not a friend or family, a road traveler that just lucked out that we needed a place to stay and found the Setting.

Yelp
Wow, we had the BEST experience at the Setting Inn Willamette Valley! Your arrival begins with a custom lavender spritz to highlight Oregon's and their beautiful landscape and you know you're in the right place. The main room and check in are like nothing we've ever experienced; renovations clearly were intentional and the result is lovely. You get a breakfast box each morning and Gene and Jared are there to answer all questions, provide recommendations and accommodate all requests. The rooms are stunning and cozy at the same time, with luxury linens, etc. The property is well located with lots of wineries and cute Newberg within a 10 min. drive but off the beaten path enough to feel remote, quiet and peaceful. Didn't get as many photos as we should have but attaching a few since we always rely on them when booking (excuse my amateur skills :-)). Thank y'all!

Yelp
We had a wonderful stay at the Setting Inn in Willamette Valley. It is a mix between a quaint Bed and Breakfast and unique Boutique Hotel. The staff was warm and accommodating and the room was clean and modern. The location is perfect if you want to indulge in the surrounding wineries plus they have created multiple unique spaces on property for you to relax and enjoy the company and scenery. Would definitely recommend for a solo trip or if you want to bring along friends to rent out multiple rooms.

Yelp
We had some trouble confirming our reservation and, consequently, wrote a somewhat negative review. We have resolved the problem and wanted to correct our previous posting.

Yelp
Beautiful setting, outdoor spaces and very nice room especially the bathrooms! Given the high end design and accommodations, unfortunately the service is really lacking. It would be simple to have staff on site overnight but they leave at 7 pm and don't seem to come back until 8:30 am. Dishes and cold coffee in lobby and no fresh coffee until 845 with no milk, etc. just packaged creamers. Breakfast is delivered in a box to your door with the same cold pastries each morning. One small Apple one croissant one piece of bread a whole salami one small orange juice and one sparkling wine. Seems like there should at least be two apples and drinks for each person. Also, why can't the pastries be brought in the morning fresh and warm instead of from refrigerator from yesterday. Staff seemed frazzled that all guests were waiting for coffee? We've stayed in hundreds of hotels and inns and B and Bs and there is always staff on site all night or at least very early in the morning and coffee and milk available. It's disappointing because such a nice place could meet the basics you expect so easily and inexpensively.

Yelp
I HIGHLY recommend The Setting Inn for those wanting a serene luxury getaway in the heart of wine country. My stay at The Setting Inn was simply charming. The property was spotless and the grounds were beautifully kept. This B&B has a cozy yet modern feel which I did not find in any other B&B in the area. The room was so comfortable and the little details throughout the room (like multiple hooks, plenty of outlets, stocked fridge) really made it a carefree experience. The Nespresso machine was also a high class touch! The real selling point for me was the endless relaxation areas on property. There was plenty of seating for all guests to spread out and enjoy the lovely scenery throughout the property. I even got to enjoy some grapes from their vineyard. Last, but not least, the service was OUTSTANDING. Yndi and Jalene were the epitome of gracious hosts and made me feel at home from the moment I arrived until the second I left. I am telling everyone about this B&B and cannot wait to come back. I honestly did not want to leave and miss it (and the daily breakfast boxes) already.
