The hotel offers excellent service and a very clean, comfortable environment. However, the pricing was shockingly high — far beyond what you’d expect even from upscale hotels in the area. Breakfast alone was €80 per person, which is simply outrageous. To make matters worse, there was no air conditioning in the rooms, which made sleeping difficult in the summer heat.

Great little hotel, had to eat there as couldn’t see anywhere local. Either tapas style in the bar or gourmet tasting menu but was adequate for an overnight stay

This is a very honest review of our stay at The Seven Luxembourg (although this is actually a 30 min drive from Luxembourg centre).|The entrance is a little “quirky” maybe a little neglected? Particularly parking area.|Reception and restaurant are exactly as you see on the PR shots, very nice.|We booked a “Deluxe Double” at €304 for 2 nights.|We were on the 4th floor with a reasonable view over the top of the trees. The room itself 🥹 very aged and worn, you can see this from my pictures. The pillows were very odd, but I asked for more the next day and we slept much better the 2nd night.|I feel it is necessary to say the rooms are most definitely not 4 star.|Marjorie, I believe the assistant manager was extremely helpful and works very hard, tbh all of the staff were very nice.|The restaurant was fabulous food was fantastic and most definitely a very different experience from the residential part of the hotel. |My husband considered the hammam which we were shown around, this is not readily available you must book, €10 euros to use and €30 if you would like sole use. It is very basic and a bit like being in a dull cellar 🥹

This might have been a 4 star hotel back in the 90's. The furniture is outdated, there are signs of water damage on the ceiling in the bathroom, there is no ventilation in the toilet area, the mini-fridge looked to have seen better day and the desk in the room is all scratched up. There is no AC in the room, just a fan of some-sorts. The breakfast (on the days when the restaurant was closed) was ridiculous, the meats and cheese looked like they've been out for a good while. Outside terrace could also do with a coat of paint. On some of the windows there is water dripping, instead of fixing it they just added some padding to not make a splash. On the positive side - the staff are amazingly helpful and kind and the location is nice and quiet (we even saw a deer one evening in front of the hotel).

Paid for the most expensive Valentine's day package. Lady in restaurant was extremely rude. Never have I been insulted and asked to pay for a package I already paid for. Do better.

We had a room in the tower and it was really lovely with a superb shower and very funky.|The restaurant served a very good high end meal, the chef is clearly talented.|Staff were very nice too.|So why only three stars?||The location is a bit strange, there is a campsite behind it, (not visible) and to the front the forest views are indeed of a small forrest beyond which is some very large industrial works that can be heard all day and night.|Not very loud but a constant background noise of heavy machinery clanking metal and occasional ‘beepers’.|When we arrived we seemed to be the only guests, the staff made us welcome and served drinks on the terrace but it had no atmosphere.|Breakfast was completely unacceptable given the price of approx. €250 B&B. (The meal was the same amount again).|We had to select what we wanted to eat the night before, and what time we wanted breakfast. It was only continental breakfast and if we wanted boiled eggs these were €5 each extra. 😳|We arrived at the appointed time to be told there was no bread or croissant, they were in the oven. They arrived piping hot but undercooked 15 minutes later.|The rest of the portion controlled breakfast was served to us on individual trays in reception.|When we came to pay our bill we explained breakfast was poor and we did not think we should be charged for it. The poor receptionist apologised but said they had no authority to discount rates and she was alone and could not call a manager either.|At night we were given an phone number to call in case of issues so I suspect the hotel is not staffed 24 hours.|Our very funky washbasin had a drip, and the hotel had fixed another tap on the end of the first tap to stop it.|So you had to unscrew and old fashioned tap, then operate the modern tap, then turn both off again.|Reception said to my knew about this.

The hotel is very nice. Great rooms with comfy bed and walk in shower. The restaurant is pretentious but can't live up to it. Ordered the 400g veil steak medium rare and it came well done. Apparently the good got pissed off for me sending it back as the new steak was well cooked but contained at least 100g of fat. Better dine outside!

We had the suite for a weekend, the views from the bedroom are truly amazing! The room is comfortable but could have an update in the living room. ||||It was a hot summer day (36 degrees) and to my surprise the room had no air conditioning! I did not check it before booking, but for me such a modern 4 star hotel should have one or at least offer a solution. For its price it was the least I expected. I asked the reception if they could borrow us a portable air conditioning and they said they would look if there was one available. The receptionist did not seem much concerned about it and I have my doubts she even looked for it. When we asked her again, she said that they could not borrow any because of corona measures (which honestly I do not understand). We also had other questions and the receptionist was not very helpful.||||Overall it was a good stay because of the view. We would maybe come back in another time of the year.
