Really good Homestay. Felt like home and uncle Santosh took great care of our three days of stay. Aunty’s food is fantastic. They have a nice farm with lots of spices, flowers, and vegetables. Highly recommended 👏

Great host family, able to cater special needs for our daughter (5yrs), tasty breakfast and dinner. Amazing view and very calm. Still, you're in busy downtown Munnar and the area within a reasonable amount of time (20-40min drive).

A quiet, laid-back homestay near Munnar. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Great hospitality from the owner Mr Santosh and his family. The home cooked food here is delicious. The mountain views from the balcony and dining room are quite beautiful. We had a great stay at this place. Suggest to rent a cab or come by own transport as it is located at some distance from Munnar town. If you are looking for a calm and quiet atmosphere, this is the place to be.

The location of homestay is very beautiful. Nice ambience. Good hospitality by the host with very delicious food, comfy beds and clean washrooms. The homestay was really homely! The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a variety of options! The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. It’s a great place to stay.It was the best experience staying there.Location is very beautiful and close to nature. This place is very well maintained...Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the Mr Santhosh and was extremely friendly.Home cooked food was yummy and delicious prepared by Maya . We loved the ambience. I would highly recommend this place and I would definitely want to come back to this place again.

Santhosh and his wife are brilliant hosts, the food is amazing, the views are to die for and the rooms are exceptionally clean and spacious. I stayed here for a wonderfully quiet, peaceful week and could have stayed longer. The food is phenomenal! Make sure you get Santhosh to take you on a tour of the spice plantation (his back yard) - it’s interesting and fun and he has a lot of passion for his farming.

Very nice and good place to stay in Munnar. Owner is very nice and polite person. Very cooperative and they serve home food to all visitors. I strongly recommend you can spend more time in Shade home stay.

Santhosh and his wife have created a beautiful, peaceful and unique homestay in the beautiful Munnar Valley. The rooms have spectacular views, as does the huge balcony. His wife is the chef and the food is beyond amazing! They are also sweetest family and your stay here will be nothing short of perfect. Highly recommend.

We stayed in 2014 and so much impressed with this resort that we are again going to stay in May'2025. My Daughter is desperate to go, that time she was 2-month-old and now grown up to 11 Years old and with the snaps on the FB, she is desperate to go along with my parents.
