Visited today and what a brilliant talk by Donna who brought the hoose to life! Really enjoyed it and if you want to really see and feel how folks lived not so long ago this is the one to visit. A small peat fire was burning too which REALLY made it authentic! 🤣. Free to visit but donate by cash or card. 10/10. Thank you for explaining so knowledgably and passionately.

Very knowledgeable host in the Croft museum. There was a peat fire in the hearth and heard a lot about crofting life in the 18th and 20th centuries. Good selection of artifacts in the house and barn and yard.

Really enjoyed visiting this museum. Unfortunately we were here on a day when they were closed, however, our guide took us around the grounds, and explained the museum to us. Beautiful, historic buildings. There is a farm next door with a group of Shetland Ponies, that were out playing. That was a great thing to see. Nice place!

Very authentic feel to thr croft house, the custodian on the day was very knowledgeable and kind. Items were able to to picked up and examined to even some working out what they would have been used for

What a great little museum that truly shows the history of this area and show cases a period lost in history. The pear smell coming from the fireplace 🔥is a unique smell and I’m so many ways comforting. The views are amazing and the Shetland pints are so cute .. oh and who can forget the neighborhood puppy 🐶 looking over the wall .. so cute!
