I stayed here as I was picking up my wedding dress in Zadika Bridal next door to the hotel which was so handy! The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. The room was lovely and clean was I loved The Hand Soap Co hand/body/shampoo in the bathroom- really nice touch. Breakfast reminded me more of a B&B breakfast more so than a hotel. Limited buffet selection and you order your hot meal off the menu. Breakfast was tasty just didn’t feel like a hotel breakfast. The parking was very handy too.

Stayed overnight due a continued wedding event in carrickmacross, affordable hotel, room was nice, beds need upgrading, shower handle broken, so couldn't change temperature. Staff very friendly and ongoing. Location was perfect for what we needed.

Go for food here any time we are in area, never been disappointed. Their beef stroganoff is to die for. Made with fillet steak and great portion. Had lunch time special today, need to be there before 3pm, €16.50 for sirloin of beef ,turkey and ham

Room was okay, but shower was scalding hot I had to wash my hair in the sink. Unacceptable and should have been compensated in some way. Breakfast was delish and bar staff were great! Amenities outside of that were lackluster, the response from the staff was oh you’re checking out so no worries.

Had a beautiful meal here, each course paired with a particular Whiskey. Great entertainment provided in the bar afterwards. I stayed the night; my room was very clean and comfortable.

I have avoided eating here as the prices are ridiculous, however I was out with friends and we ended up here having bar food. I got the chicken goujons and chips which was €25. The portion size for the price was so poor. I counted 11 chips, side salad and 5 goujons that were very poorly cooked and tasted bland. I won't be returning for food here. |I will add that the staff are lovely and very attentive, however its is just so overpriced for what you get and is not worth it in my experience.

Yelp
This is only for the Bar and Nightclub. I went with my cousins for pub food and drinks. They had a nice selection, and the food was delicious. I had fish and chips: thick and juicy battered slabs. My cousin, who isn't usually a fan of hamburgers, thought it was terrific. The price felt a little steep, but at least the food was top quality and there was a nice selection of beers and ciders. The entertainment was terrific: they had a live singer who skillfully belted out some karaoke favorites (Friends in Low Places, to Build Me Up Buttercup to Galway Girl). The nightclub underneath was clean and trendy- very well designed with good music. Unfortunately, the clientele was definitely lacking. No spirit up at the bar, especially with such good music, and the club was fairly empty- though the few who were present certainly had energy. maybe cover is too steep- come through the bar like we did and you won't have to pay. Recommended... especially since there aren't many other options in Carrickmacross.
