I’ve been following Shop Vancouver for quite some time, as they carry some truly exceptional products that I’m very interested in. TJ is incredibly knowledgeable, passionate about what he does, and genuinely friendly. He always takes the time to answer questions thoughtfully, even when he knows they may not necessarily lead to a sale. That alone speaks volumes about the care, integrity, and respect he has for both his customers and the brands he represents. There are many companies with much larger teams who don’t offer even a fraction of this level of attention, honesty, or helpful advice. TJ’s approach feels personal, considered, and rooted in a real love for his craft. The brands carried by Shop Vancouver represent some of the highest-quality clothing available today, made using traditional methods, exceptional materials, and with clear respect for the people who produce them. These are pieces designed to last and to age beautifully over time. The values TJ stands for, both personally and professionally, are exactly why I look forward to visiting the shop in person one day, and why I’ll always try to support the business whenever I can, even from afar!

Amazing selection of top denim, leathers, T-shirts and more (all of which categories I have purchased happily from The Shop). Great collection of menswear by Japanese artisans. But the best part of this operation is TJ - so good to his customers, and quite a hilarious guy to have a chat with! Brought him an alteration job 4 days before Christmas and he was able to turn it around while I waited (and it was stitched to perfection)...fantastic, and good luck trying to find that elsewhere!

TJ is a rad dude, and his shop is super cool. Went in today looking to get into the world of higher end denim, without knowing too much about it myself. He was super nice, answered all my questions, and was happy to share his knowledge/stoke on the subject. Ended up leaving the store with a new pair of jeans that he recommended, and I'm super stoked with them. Definitely gonna be back!

I’ve enjoyed many different iterations of The Shop over the years and always felt welcome. TJ has built a brand and space I’ve really come to admired and love to visit. I only wish I had more opportunities to add some of his drops to my own collection.

Hey all, I've been a client of @theshopvancouver for many, many years (actually from the day they opened) and I have to say, TJ is likely one of the most likeable people I know. I just saw a review by a person today that was blatantly malicious for being asked to move from their outside alcove (they were blocking the entry). These people have never shopped there nor met TJ. This is the typical online keyboard warrior that is so self-righteous that they don't care about community nor respect a business and all the hard work they've done to remain relevant let alone support their community. I just want to give a huge shout out to TJ and The shop. Quality and sustainable clothing that one will own for decades. Love these guys! And if you want to really see what happened, ask TJ for the video. Its all recorded showing how kind he was.

Unreal first time experience at The Shop. Pictures don’t do the leather goods justice, they look and feel godly in person. TJ is a beast and very welcoming/ helpful as long as you’re respectful of the space, excited to go back for some denim next!

Ordered my first pair of Iron hearts from TJ at The Shop. Super fast shipping! When I got the jeans I had a question about fit, so I emailed TJ and the man replied with a knowledgeable and very helpful answer in 28 mins! Pretty impressive for a one man show!
