The Shop Vancouver

TJ is a rad dude, and his shop is super cool. Went in today looking to get into the world of higher end denim, without knowing too much about it myself. He was super nice, answered all my questions, and was happy to share his knowledge/stoke on the subject. Ended up leaving the store with a new pair of jeans that he recommended, and I'm super stoked with them. Definitely gonna be back!

Unreal first time experience at The Shop. Pictures don’t do the leather goods justice, they look and feel godly in person. TJ is a beast and very welcoming/ helpful as long as you’re respectful of the space, excited to go back for some denim next!

Ordered my first pair of Iron hearts from TJ at The Shop. Super fast shipping! When I got the jeans I had a question about fit, so I emailed TJ and the man replied with a knowledgeable and very helpful answer in 28 mins! Pretty impressive for a one man show! They had to ring me in, went over some rules of a store that were understandable kind of took me back for a second! But was soon asked what I wanna spend, which is a good question considering the prices but well worth it, I bought a vest 1500. I bought some nice pants leather 1000. He assisted me very well. Got the read on me and what I wanted. He was politely courteous, cracking joke! They have a lot of variety of clothing they’re into what they do very professional if you’re looking for leather, you found the greatest store in Vancouver for it! One thing I should mention is they don’t do alterations, in my opinion you gotta go to a professional seamstress for that do not cut it yourself because the pants won’t hem properly, but everything they sell in the store is excellent quality and well worth the money you’ll spend.

TJ is a genius when it comes to his products and very helpful. He answered all of my (many) questions with a great attitude. Will be shopping here again!

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience with TJ and The Shop Vancouver. It is impossible for me to overstate how helpful he was and how happy am with my new jacket. I initially ordered something that I was really excited about but despite doing my research it didn’t fit. Called up TJ, explained the situation and he was able to talk me through sizing and styling and helped me settle on the Y2 Leather X The Shop Vancouver chore shirt for the exchange. He sent me the return label, made the credit / exchange super easy and even held a size for me for the replacement as it was the last one. He also was really responsive to texts even outside store hours. The jacket is unreal quality, looks and fits amazing, and I am absolutely stoked. I will be a customer of this fine establishment for life, and you should be too.

You could say it’s one of the best little shops in the world. I’ve bought a few bits from The Shop over the years and by no means am I a big spender, but TJ puts as much care into his customer service as he does his product. Which is loads.
