This hostel has a great ambiance and very polite and lovely staff. The rooms are clean and they have lots of facilities... The rooftop is a great place to hang out, so is thep downstairs coffee place. The prices are still low, but I am sure they will go up soon because they are improving the place every single day! I would recommend it to young and middle aged people who are looking for a relaxed and clean place to stay...

I stayed here for four nights. I waited for around two hours before checking in because the receptionist wasn't in her desk and the telephone on the hostel card wasn't working when I tried calling. And she's the farthest thing from friendly (the one with the nose ring). The cleaning guy tried to be 'chummy' with young female guests. I saw him touch two female guests during my stay there (those were non sexual touches but still). And when I passed him by without saying 'excuse me' he got upset. There's no drinking water other than tap water, breakfast starts at 8:30am (pretty late for me) and there's no kitchen and I didn't see a washing machine either (I stayed on the third floor). The bathrooms could use a lot of improvement. If you are not awfully broke, you can easily find a better place to stay with just a couple more bucks. The only thing this place has going for it is the rooftop.

I stayed at this hostel last week and found it to be one of the best ones I have ever been in. The decor is super cool, the staff are really friendly and the owners made me feel at home. There is rooftop of hostel for breakfast and all day chilling and it's great place to meet people. They have all day breakfast, coffee tea cereal toast and nuteelllaaaa.... I will definitely stay here again when I'm in Singapore and will recommend to anybody who is going there.

Cons We booked a double with AC, there was no window. Under the bed there was dust, candles and other things. They cleaned only around it. Squeaking and very cheap bed frame. One bathroom was out of order so only one shower was available on our floor. No lift. Ants in the room and in the bathroom. Overpriced. Pros WiFi was very good. Location too. Near tube and restaurants. Free soap. Friendly reception. AC was good.

The property currently renovating some areas which affecting its overall function. I stayed for couple nights and not recommending anyone to consider this accommodation, unless they improve some critical points: 1. The shared room / dorm are not cleaned and smelly, the air wasn't well circulated. 2. Provided breakfast wasn't enough for every guest. They put a bag of sliced bread for 30+ guest; and it'll be only available from 8am. Who's gonna wait until that noon for a slice of bread? Aside from that poorly served bread, there also a pack of milk & couple jars of cereals. 3. Mentioning about the breakfast, the tablewares are only for 5 person and uncleaned. That saying everyone have to queue for using a mug, cereal bowls or ever spoon. 4. The shower on bathroom also not fully functioned. The stream was too small to have a shower. I am fully aware that this is a budget accommodation, but since everyone who stays are paying for that small square of resting bed, it should be served adequately. To make it fair, the location was good. It is easy to reach, walking distance to metro station and bus stop, also nearby tourist area.

We needed to checkout at 7am to go to the airport. The reception was empty, so i often tried to call the two given emergency numbers without someone answering. I had to drop the key in the mailbox without getting the payed deposit back. On the onlinebooking site it is not mentioned, that the private room has a shared bathroom. The picture uses a clever angle to make it look like its belonging to the room. In the morning we noticed, that they did not give us towels and other toiletries. Wifi did not work for hours. Bed lamp in room did not have a light bulb. The flower vase as only decorating item was empty. Bed makes loud noises, not very clean. Stuff was not very helpful. The rooftop bar is beautiful, but they played horrible pop songs.

Best place for those travelers who are on a budget. It cost us 350+ pesos only for a one night stay in this hostel and we just left our things there because we did our tour first in Singapore. It is near from the Bugis Train Station (just a walking distance). There are also a lot of cafes beside the hostel that you can choose from. Hoping for a wonderful sleep in this hostel tonight.

I understand that you dont pay much for these rooms yet they are extremely small. For an $80 room, you get a room the size of a dining table with a bed. The location is great though if your looking for many interesting places to eat. Would just recommend going over the road to Pan Pacific for around $50 extra a night.
